That was a little uncalled for. Deadline was for submissions, not voting or anything else; it was never promised we'd have them right away. Plus I figured she was holding out hope for more submissions since only two people followed through.
I like the way Growlanser does it, where choices are based more on your personality than moral code and they aren't ever labeled as good or bad. Each one also increases certain traits in your character, eventually locking out future choices that wouldn't make sense in context, and you can easily alienate your party members (thus making them less effective or even forcing them out of your party) if they disagree with you. Not to mention you can actually side with the villain if you think they're right, which isn't always an ultra-evil kill-'em-all scenario. But yeah, moral dichotomies are pretty tiring for me too. I think Mass Effect is a little better at it though because Paragon and Renegade aren't necessarily goody-two-shoes and ne'er-do-well. I choose a lot of Paragon options because they lead to fights, and I like fights. I'd rather face down a bully than ignore them, bribe them, or even side with them; they're almost always the toughest ones around.

I never thought of levels as objective power levels, strength, or skill. I always thought they measured experience and familiarity with combat, which would explain why some characters start over at Lv1—They spend time away from their training and have to relearn when the need arises. So if she's constantly fighting for her life, I'd say she'd be a comfortable 100; but if she's found safe places then there's no telling.
