weren't people on this site complaining about yet ANOTHER FF7 game? it's pretty much the same thing. in fact it's not even just this website, it's a lot of other websites. i don't get why people see another FF7 game and go "omg, another one?" but when they see mario or zelda, they say "this looks cool". i personally don't mind adding new sequels to a game series as long as the sequel itself is good.
i don't know much about God and such, but i would believe it that there is free will so that mankind can better themselves....by themselves. parents have to let go of their children and to let them make their own decisions, it's part of growing up, because if the children just kept depending on their parents, they'll may never become strong enough to take on the world by themselves. for example: a 40 year old man who still lives with his parents because he isn't ready to live on his own. if that man never leaves his parents care, he may never be ready to live on his own. he might be too immature to live on his own, but unless he gets out there, he may never be mature enough. hope that was the right example to use, because i guess arguably the 40 year old man was mature enough (both in age and the mentally) to leave on his own and just chose not to. don't get me wrong, i don't believe it's right to abandon (or exile, in Adam and Eve's case) someone just for one disobedience. but if i recall correctly, didn't Adam and Eve do just fine after being exiled? i remember something about them having children and starting a family together. so what i'm trying to say is, if there is a God (which i'm not saying there is, because i personally don't believe there is), maybe it was just mankind's time to leave God's care and to become independent. i wanted to ask about the thing with Adam and Eve not being mature when they left Paradise. are you really sure about that statement? does it actually say that somewhere (like maybe the Bible)? anyways, i hope everything i said about the religious parts was accurate, and if it isn't, just feel free to correct me.
i personally dont' believe in god, but the thing that a lot of people dont' seem to get about religion is that it's not a matter of logic, because logically just because you can't disprove the existence of a god doesn't mean it exists. it's just a matter of faith, i think someone told me that "if you believe in God, he exists", and if you don't, he doesn't, or something like that. even though it isn't logical for a god to exist, i understand that it would be just nice to believe that someone is listening to our prayers. i remember another person told me something about "if there is a god, how come bad things still happen", i remember that person explained to me that apparently God has become more of just an observer and only intervenes when necessary which i guess somewhat explains it a little. i honestly don't know enough about religion to debate this effectively, but i find it a very interesting topic to learn about.
i really agree with what jayn and peace-and-war have to say. i also like to add that it seems like you're depressed. i think it would do you much good to get some sort of job, it not only gives you money but i found that a job does give you some feeling of self-worth which SHOULD elicit some sort of emotion (such as pride). or it could be a hobby or joining a club at your school. and if you're lucky you might find a mentor who can help give you some direction and advice. it sounds like you're someone who is constantly being forced to do things you don't want to do, so i think you should find something you really do like doing and do it. anyways, i think that's all i have to add, i hope that helps and hope you can overcome this. best of luck.
i really like this idea. though, i think there can be a better symbol for negative rep, like maybe the Heartless symbol? i really like the idea of using the Nobody symbol for invisible.
wait, where did it say that Axel and Saix had plans to overthrow the Organization?
make the request in the code vault.
sure go ahead.
i have the Ultimate Hits version and mine works perfectly fine. aside from the boxart, both the Ultimate Hits version and the original release of the game are exactly identical. that issue has happened to me a few times but for other games, i just reset the system and try again and usually that fixes it. also, it MIGHT be your PS2's laser because i heard that the slide method causes more wear and tear damage on your laser (not sure why), and if you've been using the slide method often, that DOES wear out the laser pretty quickly (mine died in a matter of months so i had to send it to sony to get the laser fixed). hope that helps and good luck.
i'm actually really torn about this. i think it's ok to lie at times, like if you're trying to spare someone's feelings about something. but i don't think you should delude yourself with lies to make yourself feel better, like denying that you have shortcomings. i also kinda think people are happier with lies but i think that knowing and facing the truth enpowers you to change your ways. of course that last sentence only applies to dealing with short-comings, i'm sure that there are times when the truth would leave you feeling emotionally crippled when the lies would've preserved your sanity. so i'm pretty torn. i hope that made sense.
i found that even at LV 99 and with Ultima Weapon and great equipment, this fight can still be quite challenging. for one thing, make sure Riku is filled with healing items, it WILL save you. also one other thing to note: if Riku is killed anytime during the fight, you will Gameover (but that's actually rare, Riku doesn't die very easily for some reason). for the strategy: Glide will help ALOT. especially in the beginning when Xemnas is throwing those orbs of lightning all over him. you should either use Session or Trinity at that point or Glide towards him (while avoiding the orbs) and wait for an opening to attack (that opening doesn't last for more than a second or two so be quick). when Xemnas throws you into the air, use Aerial Dodge very quickly and Glide instead of using Reaction (if you get hit, that's when you should use Reaction) because i found you sometimes still get hit quick a few times if you use Reaction. avoid the part where you play as Riku, you can avoid that part during this battle if you use Reflect or a Limit when you hear Xemnas say "Can you spare a heart?" the rest shouldn't be too difficult, hope that helps.
i do think that you are reading too much into the age thing, because look at Xigbar/Braig, he ages quite a bit too. i think Zexion just aged normally since BBS takes place about 10 years before KH1.
i never heard that, that's actually interesting, i never thought of it that way. i liked the KH1 Riku better because he used his Dark Skills much better. also, the rivalry between him and Sora made the storyline more interesting, i think that might've been one of the reasons KH2 was less interesting, though you could argue that in a way Roxas was in a rivalry with Sora.
i just hate who they order the cards. i prefer to have the lowest values come first but they arrange it to have the highest values come first. i wish they at least let you rearrange the cards' order
yea i was actually surprised there was no Hollow Bastion, especially since in one of the novels that was bundled with KH2 FM+ explained about how Roxas and Axel set Maleficient's crow free which explained her re-apperance in KH2. i believe Traverse Town wasn't there because all the people who lived there returned to their proper worlds after Sora and friends locked Kingdom Hearts.
there was nothing funny to laugh at, it's not like the teacher made a joke about it (at least i HOPE it's safe to assume that). that's why i think they were inappropriate for laughing, it's like saying something like "i went to the movies" and someone laughs and you're like "what the hell was so funny?" anyways, in response to other posts in this thread, i don't think people should become de-sensitized (hope i spelled that right) to violent acts because i really do think that makes it easier to commit those types of acts. i'm not saying we should be dwelling in the past either but we can certainly learn from it. some people say that people are becoming over-sensitive, but what is so wrong with a sensitive world?
information technology is pretty much anything related to computers. i believe it's pretty it's THE broadest field for computers with no real...
my major is Information Technology so computer classes, i like how my school is set up, it's 6 months of school and then a paid 6 month internship...
yup, very busy but i actually enjoy being busy (not all the time but this kind of busy is good)
i'm actually doing quite fine.
