After the last attack, Aislinn sagged with relief as Aux approached them. She couldn't help but feel sorry for the hyena's though. Like while Aislinn would have fought them no problem, by the sounds of it, Aux might have gone a little overboard. "Helping others isn't so bad is it? I mean you got to rip apart those poor Hyena's after all." Aislinn tried to joke with Aux, though she knew it wasn't going to well in general so far. That didn't mean she would stop though, one day she would get him to lighten up a bit, though that was not going to happen anytime soon. Either way she could at least try. Seeing Simba as the new King, Aislinn smiled, finding it rather entertaining that Aux joined in roaring. There was no problem with that in her opinion as she reared up and stomped her hooves in celebration. After that Timon and Pumbaa approached them, mostly talking to Kaida but also to her and Ananta. "Thanks but..." Aislinn shot Kaida a playful glare. "I am never going to do the Hula again..... ever!" She made a pointed glance at Kaida from the comment during battle. "... unless really needed." She added but it would have to be a big deal for her to do that again. After that was settled she turned her attention to AJ and Pumbaa. "I suppose our job here is done. We just have to move forward and make the next stride to becoming masters." Aislinn said not wanting to talk about other worlds or anything, but still get the point across that they had to go and finish their Mark of Mastery. This wasn't over yet, but soon, they could become masters, and maybe then she could properly protect her world and her sister. Until that time however their work wouldn't be done.
"Neither will I." Tinarah said following behind Take. "I plan to go back." She admitted to him. This was her brothers friend, she probably shouldn't be telling him stuff that she hadn't planned to tell her own brother, but Tinarah just needed to talk to someone and he was here and easy enough to talk to. "Don't tell Chrono yet.... But I think... I need to get stronger, then I will send myself back, protect that realm and stop that future. I promised A that his sacrifice wouldn't be in vain. I won't let any of their sacrifices be for nothing." She didn't really know why she was telling him all this, and she probably wouldn't tell anyone else yet, but it felt good to get it off her chest. It had been far too long since she had a friend. Even with Mika in the other realm, Tinarah never took the time to be friends with her, nor was she given it with all the training that she had to do. After saying her bit, she continued to follow Take, the last bit of the short distance to the kitchen to drop off her plate. Since he was carrying it for her, Tinarah hung in the background scratching Nini. As she stood and watched Tinarah looked at Take's hand. In an effort to not make everything about herself, she spoke up for a moment, trying to make conversation. "So what happened to your hand?" She asked having noticed him seeming to rub at the cast.
Tinarah had fully planned to carry her plate, but when Nini jumped in her arms, she was more happy to just cuddle with the cat as they went to leave the room. Sparing Chrono a glance, Tinarah didn't particularly feel bad for walking away with Take, she still was trying to work through everything that she had thought of her brother, trying to figure out what was true, and what wasn't. How much of what she experienced was real in some sense. Chrono had felt real, he wasn't an illusion of her mind as he actually picked her up, and she couldn't imagine it having been the Chrono of that realm if it wasn't something already existing in the Chrono of this realms heart. After all, though there wasn't much cross over between people, aside from Torrin from who she met where, what she saw in them, she had a sense that part of their hearts, part of their thoughts crossed between the two realms. Even Torrin, though fighting for different things, when he found her, his spirit for what he was doing, it felt familiar, though his war was different than the one that he fought here. Walking from the room, Nini purring in her arms as she stroked the small cat, Take turned and asked about what happened. She knew she would have to explain it all eventually, perhaps it was best to try to say something at least before she was overwhelmed with people searching for answers. "I... don't mind trying to share." She told him before continuing. "It actually wasn't all bad though. The Light Chaser... He said he was sending me back, but instead I found myself in another place. I was on a bridge... and long story short I got thrown off." Tinarah started to glaze over the parts that were particularly painful, only sharing the basic details that she didn't mind talking about. She didn't mean to withhold information, she was simply finding it hard to talk about. "Anyways I somehow survived that without injury... another one of the Light Chasers tricks perhaps. I awoke in a town that was being taken by darkness. A kid had found me and brought me into his home. We managed to run, but he didn't make it over the gap, I did. That is where I met Uncle Fost. He tried to help return me to you guys but when we found Choma... Well he was still a student. So Uncle Fost brought me to Master Stamatis and he confirmed I was in another time line. In the past." Tinarah also decided to skip the part that she lost her keyblade, that wasn't relevant to what had happened to her and why she came back like this... well not yet at least, but she hadn't thought ahead to her escape. "Master Stamatis trained me for the next five years to be strong enough to send myself home. Uncle Fost would stop by and visit sometimes." Tinarah had a sad smile on her face, fond memories of those years in peace before she tried to go home. The smile dropped however as she had to continue her story. "When it was time to go home, I tried, but I didn't end up in my own time. I think... I was in the future and the world was dark. Torrin found me and he brought me to Mika. Apparently most of our friends had died as well as masters in some war between the light and the dark. I offered to help him fight and he trained me a bit. I didn't realize they were fighting for the darkness. When I realized that and questioned him he locked me away. Mika tried to help me escape but...." Tinarah sounded near tears as she paused for a moment, stopping petting the cat for a moment. "Torrin found us. He killed Mika and locked me away again. That is when I met Gero. I don't know how long I was down there, but enough I decided I wouldn't let Torrin do to me what he tried to do to all of you and I stopped eating. He confronted me, and my keyblade returned to me. I stalled him long enough to free Gero, and he opened a portal for us... It turned out we were in another realm altogether." Tinarah started to walk again her head down a bit now, unsure of what Take was thinking now based on the story. "Atmos said only two days have passed since I went missing, but I was there for over five years." She told him though he likely gathered all that from her story.
The strange girl said she had to go, and Tinarah relaxed a little bit knowing that the person she was least comfortable with was going. It wasn't that she purposely intended avoid the girl, but the entire situation was bad and she was still struggling to get over the last few months. After the girl left Take spoke up again offering to take her plate. He also offered to take her to the kitchen if she wanted to go herself. Looking around the room, Tinarah considered it for a moment. She knew that she needed to bathe, and badly, but the walls were starting to feel tight and she was feeling enclosed again. "C-can you show me where the kitchen is. I need to get out of here for a bit." Tinarah informed Take before turning to her brother who was also speaking to her. "Yes please." She told him, trusting he wouldn't show up with quite as tight clothes as she had been wearing... which weren't all that tight anymore. They still showed a bit more than she was comfortable with but they didn't hug her skin like they did when she first had put them on and started to question Mika on her clothing choices. Slowly Tinarah got herself up from the bed holding the plate in her one hand while steadying herself with her other hand. She was still a little unstable, but was certainly doing better than the day before and at this point she didn't feel like it was a risk of collapsing as much as it was a case of getting her balance again. After a moment of steadying herself she stepped forward looking down at the cat that was now by her side again. "Are you coming with us too Nini?" She asked as she gave Take the nod to lead the way.
Cerdic looked a bit confused before looking back to Daeni. "Why do we need to find them? I don't understand." He hadn't thought rocks and trees meant anything, but if Daeni was remembering similar and seemed to think it important, than it was worth following the lead to see where it went. Cerdic then turned to Mora. "Is there a large castle around here? If so what is the safest route to it? What we are talking about, those three trees with rocks around them, they are near the castle. I think I was just exploring while the others work from what I remember but I can't recall how to get there." Cerdic pointed out before turning to Alder. "Perhaps this will help jog your memory too. I don't know but it is worth a try."
It isn't always about keeping events or plans a surprise. In this case with the YouTube channel, it is simply a large undertaking. While going forward in the future we would love to hear member feed back, implement some of their ideas and get them involved, at this stage of planning that is more difficult. Currently while still working on the basics of the change and planning the first bit of content, it is difficult to find the time to give member siggestions the time and attention to get them started in such a way that pays respect to the original idea, while working with it to make sure it works for the site in the best way possible. Personally I don't want to have to say "We might look at your suggestions later, eventually when we have more time to consider it." It simply feels more like we don't care, when we do. By working among staff to create the basis for everything first, we then open up time, post launch to address and work with member suggestions, and change and adjust things based on how they are received going forward. That being said it doesn't mean we won't or can't include members during the planning stages, we just need to get to such a point we start thinking ahead and planning for that. Essentially it isn't that we don't want feed back and want to keep it all a secret, as much as it is a matter of already having ten ideas in our own heads that we are working through and adding ten more means not giving any the time they need and deserve. Going forward however we will try and keep your suggestion in mind and consider opening feedback for projects and events as we create them instead of after launch. Perhaps we will even utilize the premium or contributor section to test some ideas, allowing for it still to be a surprise in large but giving one of those user groups a chance to give their opinion and help us correct and improve our content.
Just a reminder that lines are due on the 18th along with a render. I look forward to hearing the finished product.
Take had entered the room with a plate of food, and at the time Tinarah hardly paid mind to it as the girl stepped closer again trying to talk to her more. Tinarah stepped back, looking to Take and then Chrono, both trying to offer suggestions while the girl tried to offer food. It felt like a lot going on at one time, a little too much for her to handle well in her current state. She didn't want to talk to the strange girl, she didn't care if she understood what happened to her. Tinarah was sure the story would have to be hold, but not here and now. Right now it was time to try and process herself everything that had happened. Her mind when she woke up was more clear than it had been in a week and so much had happened the day before. However instead of processing it, she was thrown into a panic attack that wasn't exactly welcome distraction. Tinarah was going to try and find some space by heading back towards her bed, but the smell of bacon hit her, and she finally looked over at the plate of food Take brought for her. Slowly Tinarah made her way over to the table, taking up the plate. The table wasn't exactly a dining room table, more just extra storage space in the room, so she walked back to the bed, looking up of a moment at the other three a little uncomfortable. "Thank you." Her for was quiet and she was still a bit uneasy as she took a bite of the bacon, seeming to highly enjoy it. After a couple bites she put down the bacon and picked up her fork having some of the waffles as well. "I haven't had anything like this in months. Thank you Take." She seemed a lot more settled now that she had food. Given her shape, her bites were small and she ate slowly, but Tinarah finished the plate given to her. She didn't really know what to tell everyone else in the room. The girl had offered her clothes but also talked a lot and it made her uncomfortable. She didn't really know how to talk to any of them. Tinarah still wasn't sure what she thought of her brother, but she remembered some of what Boreas had said the day before and he had provided her with enough doubt that her brother meant her harm that she could at least live with the fact he was around. Then there was Take and Nini. Take Tinarah never got to know, but she rather liked Nini, it was curious how she was with Take though. In the end Tinarah attributed it to Mika sleeping in. After a moment of awkward silence she finally held up the plate. "Um... where should I bring this?" She asked trying not to leave the place too much of a mess.
As Kaida spoke Aislinn shook her head. "Damn it not this again." She laughed lightly at the thought of the crap she had to pull earlier. However whatever worked worked. At least Kaida was willing to work together with her now. Going into this world it had been something that she was a little concerned about. That concern turned out to be misplaced. "I would never try to steel all the fun. Just some of it. There is no better way to keep me out of trouble after all." Kiara responded with a bit of a smile to Arctus. She watched as he made the first strike before she got ready to follow up with an attack of her own. However as she prepared she heard a particularly irritating voice behind her once more. Whipping around she heard Uniform continue to taunt her. Weak that was what he liked to think didn't he? He wanted to think she was weak that nothing she did would change that, but Kiara remembered the day she ran quite vividly, she was weak then, but not now. She had grown and she wouldn't let him take that away from her. Besides he was the one pinned. Unfortunately that didn't last long as Uniform managed to kick Finlay's feet out from him and pin him instead, continuing his taunting. "Funny the way things are remembered. As far as I recall I chose to be here. Saving the world in the light of day isn't really my style, doesn't make me weak though, no it just means I am not a fool with heroic fantasies like some." Kiara glared him down, fire finding it's way through her whip almost unwillingly. From the corner of her eye she saw movement, Lima was behind her dealing with Arctus rather swiftly. Fire was raging in her eyes as another flame came to her free hand. Barely turning she shot it back at Lima but her attention remained on Uniform. She wasn't going to just let this happen. Flames were completely engulfing the whip as with raging eyes she slashed at Uniform several more times. He couldn't possibly keep Finlay pinned while dealing with her attacks. If she could at least get Finlay free then they might stand a chance, but how it stood now, they were walking on thin ice.
This wasn't going as fast as she had hoped, but luckily for her she felt ready enough to do one of her more powerful attacks again. It wouldn't end it here and now but it would be of help, and right now all she could do is deal damage. Taking a deep breath, she slowed her heart as time seemed to freeze around her. As she exhaled she sprang forwards unleashing a powerful attack. Aislinn used Zantetsuken
With her back to the door Tinarah tried the door handle once more as Qamar tried to talk to her. It was clear none of the words were sinking in as Tinarah still held her keyblade out ready if Qamar got any closer to her. The girl might have let go of her keyblade, but Tinarah knew how strong people could be without their keyblade. What a little bit of strength or magic could do for one when they wanted to hurt someone else. She wasn't going to be naive anymore and think that just because someone didn't use their keyblade didn't mean that they weren't stronger than she. Tinarah didn't even believe herself that strong, she knew that she still had a long way to go and a lot of training to do. As Qamar stepped forward offering a hand Tinarah slashed at the girl trying to keep her away. She wanted to run but she was locked in here, the least she could do was fight until the end. She wasn't going to go down without a fight. She wasn't going to give up like she had after Mika died. She would fight for herself, she had to. The door to her room swung open, much to Tinarah's surprise as she heard her brothers voice behind her. Turning to Chrono and Take she studied them a little perplexed for a moment. "You're... you...." She said to Chrono lowering her keyblade a bit. It was almost like she didn't expect to see him the way she had last remembered. The broken words of the creature that Chrono became echoed in her mind, and Tinarah nearly lifted a keyblade to Chrono as well, spare him from becoming that thing, but her eyes rested on Take and Nini, both here, both alive. "You can't let him take your Light... it will kill you..." Tinarah's voice was quiet as she looked at him, then back to Chrono, before turning back to see Qamar standing there, suddenly not as intimidating looking as she had seen a moment before. Whatever had snapped in her mind Tinarah was still coming out of, she had not released her keyblade yet, but now, with an open door beyond and her friends standing there she at least became less hostile.

Tinarah had the door cracked open to the bathroom as she started to run the bath, taking any bath soaps she could find and putting them into the bath. Normally she wouldn't much care to use this sort of stuff, but she had such a need to get clean that she was willing to use the stuff provided for her. However over the sound of the bath running she heard the door close and lock. Tinarah jumped and hid herself in the bathroom as she summoned her own keyblade to her hand. There was a girl talking to her, asking about clothes, but none of that seemed to register as niceties. Tinarah remembered last time she stayed at a strange castle, and was offered shelter and clothes. She was lied to betrayed, and the clothes offered was still what she was wearing, itching to get off. "N-no! I don't need your help." The last time she had heard this girls voice she had been yelling and Tinarah took no comfort in any of this as she slowly reached for the door. Flinging it open she rounded the corner and shot a blast of blizzard at the strange girl as she observed the keyblade in the other girls hand. She wasn't here to help, why would she have a keyblade if she was. She was going to lock her in here. She was going to make her a prisoner again wasn't she? In a mind of sheer irrational panic, Tinarah ran from the bathroom, yanking the door open only to find it locked. Pounding on it with one fist trying to get the attention of Master Choma, or anyone she trusted more, Tinarah lifted her keyblade, readying it. "I won't be locked away again." She stated. If she had to she would fight until she collapsed again. She might have been malnourished, but at least she was better rested, and on her two feet once more. After pounding a few times she lifted her hand to her necklace, thinking of how Stamatis had tried to protect her and got himself hurt. It was time she tried to protect herself, even if she remained on the defense, not trying to take a strike at the girl quite yet.

Not Mika, but another boy... Take... if she remembered correctly had come out when she was calling for someone to feed the cat. He called for Nini and the small cat ran over and jumped in his arms. Tinarah took note of his complaints about his hands as the cat did that, grabbing a quick glace at his bandaged hand, but she didn't say anything on it. Instead she averted her eyes for a moment. He had died last she heard, tried to fight Torrin and didn't survive the experiments. Tinarah imagined that he must have had a will of iron, given that he was the only one Torrin singled out for that, the way he fought back. The boy came closer and by the look on his face, he might have not expected what he saw. She didn't know if it was because of her age, or how she looked in general. Either way it stopped mattering to her much anymore. She might have felt dirty, but after the first week in prison, she let go of caring about how she looked, and she hadn't really started to care again. She knew that she needed to clean up but that was more for hygiene sake, something she didn't have much luxury for up until now. "I um...." Tinarah realized she really didn't know how to speak to people normally anymore, especially those around her age. She was fine with Stamatis, and after that, well she really had shut herself off to everyone after the first couple days. Thankfully before she had to say more she heard Master Choma speak up. Looking passed Take she could see him leaning against a wall smiling at her. For a moment she remember how he looked at her like she was a freak when she tried to explain to him and Fost that he was her master, but older. She also remembered her promise to Fost. She didn't care what realm she was in, when she became a master, she wanted Fost there to witness it. "Master Choma... I... I slept fine until Nini woke me up. Feel a bit better than yesterday but still recovering." She tired to explain not knowing how much he knew about what happened before and since arriving. As she stood there again seeming awkward, she realized that she still hadn't addressed Take's question. "I... uh really should shower, but if you are offering I will have some food. I think I can manage to make it on my own though." She assured him not really sure she wanted to rely on others help. It hadn't always been turning out in her favour and she honestly didn't know where she sat with everyone now. Glancing back in her bedroom she looked to the bath and then back at Take. "Sorry...." She tried to offer him mainly because she didn't know how else to speak. Tinarah didn't necessarily close the door on Take's face but after that she turned and started to shuffle towards the bathroom. The way she slowly walked, with her back hunched, and arms across her stomach. She didn't seem totally okay, but she was at least on her feet. The sudden loud voice from another room caused Tinarah to jump before she got too far away. The voice was familiar enough that she could convince herself that it wasn't that there was a threat, but it still bothered Tinarah a little, it made her nervous, but she refused to turn around and let that be seen on her face with Choma and Take outside her door. She just pushed forward entering the bathroom, starting to run a bath, not even thinking about the fact that once clean she didn't have clean clothes to change into.
Tinarah had passed out before she ever managed to make it to the bed provided for her, falling asleep in the arms of the man who had picked her up while they were still outside. Her exhaustion was enough that not even dreams dared touch her sleep that night, the world she had entered back into was far away, even the cut sleeping next to her she didn't seem to notice was there that night. Or she didn't until the sun came up and Nini decided that she was hungry. At first it started as a small meow for attention. When that didn't stir Tinarah from her deep slumber, the cat walked onto her chest and meowed again. After another moment Nini started to paw at Tinarah's face, not scratching her but tapping her with her paws until Tinarah finally shifted batting the paw away. Excited Nini did a circle on Tinarah's chest then pawed her again until Tinarah finally opened her eyes. "Nini stop it. Why aren't you bugging Mika?" At first Tinarah was back as a child, in her bed at Choma's castle dealing with Mika's cat as the older girl accidentally overslept again. However as the room came into focus she quickly realized how much that wasn't the case. The question still stood however, why couldn't the cat be bugging Mika instead of her, Tinarah still wanted to sleep, but she was feeling better than the day before. Sitting up in bed, she wrapped herself in the blanket to keep warm as she looked around the unfamiliar room, her eyes shifting to the closed door at last trying to process all that had happened the day before. It all had felt like a bad fever dream, she had been so out of it, at times she didn't think parts of it were actually real. However given the view out the window and the unfamiliar room, she knew that she had at least been brought out of Choma's castle to what she thought she had heard Atmos say was the Castle of the Council. Impatient Nini meowed again pacing to the door looking at it, hinting at what she wanted. Finally Tinarah dragged herself out of bed, trying to get her feet under herself. It took a moment to actually get her balance, but the rest did do a wonder for her strength. The little bit of food helped as well, though it wasn't enough to keep her going forever. She had gone long enough without eating that it wasn't bothering her as much on proper rest. Once she was confident that she could walk and not collapse like the day before, she walked to the door, cracking it open as Nini slipped out. The cat didn't run too far ahead of her though seeming to wait. "Mika? Mika your cat needs food, where are you?" Tinarah called down the hall in a soft voice, trying not to be so loud to wake everyone up, but still trying to get someones attention. She didn't know how to deal with the cat, so she needed at least someone who did. As she waited for a response, she still held onto the door frame as extra support, almost expecting the worse. Once this was dealt with Tinarah looked forward to a bath before she was willing to meet with anyone. Falling in the ocean was not enough to clean over a month of dirt and grime, and now being somewhere clean in comparison, she felt dirty and not presentable, especially to the council.
The video Portal has been having problems on and off lately. We still try to work on them and fix them as it comes, but it seems to break again after we think we fixed it. We will still be working on that, but in the mean time feel free to share your videos here. They are great and I love seeing more activity in the editing community. I really enjoy looking at some of the masks in your videos they are really well done, something that I personally am still working on. Keep up the good work! ^.^
