There were instructions on where Tinarah was to be taken, though as long as it was warm, Tinarah didn't really care. She would be safe here, she knew that, she could rest easy. Boreas was checking on her as well while the girl who was yelling at Torrin continued to scold them for not paying attention, though Tinarah didn't see Qamar doing much herself either. Either way it didn't matter now, someone was here to help and that was all that mattered. Though as they lingered Tinarah did wonder if she might perhaps be heavy for the boy. At first glance the meek man didn't seem that strong, but she wasn't that heavy either. Between being small for her age, and starving, making her underweight, she knew she wasn't that bad.

As they were ready to go, a portal opened and people started to come through. At first Tinarah paid them no mind, nearly asleep in Adalric's arms, however the meow of a cat drew her attention as she glanced down to see Nini. She smiled softly at the cat as she heard Chrono's voice, it was clear he didn't really know what was going on. Tinarah forced her eyes open more as she glanced around at the people there. It was almost like a scene out of the picture on Mika's dresser. The one problem was, there was Nini, but no Mika. She was worried, but didn't have the energy to question it.

Adalric started to carry her away as Tinarah heard Torrin explain who she was. She didn't really want to see Chrono yet. She didn't want to explain everything that happened and she still didn't know how to deal with her doubts about him. As the doors to the castle opened Tinarah rested her head against Adalric and closed her eyes once more. She didn't want to face Chrono, and she could hardly hold it off any longer at this pace. It was easier and more pleasant to just give into her exhaustion right now than to face returning home, face all those who actually knew her. So far those she had been with barely knew who she was, but with Aria, Chrono, Choma, and possibly Mika there, it was a lot to explain.

So with no real plan and a rag tag group of people, they were going to save a man who wouldn't be afraid to put down half of them if they were seen a threat. Dayla never held much faith for wtichers, they were supposed to be monster hunters, but she didn't put it passed them to turn against anyone that they believed to be "monsters." Either way Dayla was not entering that prison to get him out. She would still help but she wasn't going to get that close to the action.

"Unless you want to get caught, I will not be part of either group. I will go ahead and provide cover fire from the roof tops. Listen for a bird call, if you hear that, then more guards are coming towards the distraction team. For those going in, I can't promise I can keep an eye on you. I will do my best though, and kill only those I have to, I would rather not be marked a murderer on top of assisting a prison break." Dayla warned as she checked her bow one last time before assuring everything was secured as they walked.

After a short distance Dayla silently peeled off into an alley way where she then proceeded to scale a building. Her skills seemed somewhat practiced as she made quick work of getting to the roof, pulling out her bow once there. Her foot steps were light as she crouched and walked around looking for the best place that she could hide when needed and still use her bow. As she scouted out the roof she gave a thumbs up to the team below. She was set enough that they could continue forward and she had their backs.

The man they were fighting was never going to help them, Aaron knew that already, he wanted to sell Aaron off after all and clearly wasn't a fan of Witchers. "Come on. He won't help us, lets just get moving before it is too late. Chains off or not, only so much I can do without my silver sword. It works the best against monsters and fiends but unfortunately my weapons were taken from me on the ship. Our best bet and to get out of the forest and avoid as many fights as we can until I can purchase more weapons." Aaron warned knowing with next to no money on hand he likely wouldn't be purchasing anything any time soon. Perhaps he could pick up an iron sword from a bandit camp or something and use that until he made a little money, but he wasn't going to make an effective witcher until he managed to get another silver sword. If they could get back to Novigrad then maybe Derrick would still be around, perhaps he would help without having to tell Vec, but for now getting out of the forest was of greater priority.

"I will see what I can do, but I don't remember much myself, nothing useful. Unless three trees with stones in front of them and a star carved on one is considered useful. But I doubt that information will build the extractor." Cerdic said almost sounding bitter about his lack of ability to help as he paced around and picked up some scraps of metal, looking for ones that might be important while avoiding touching the core. He looked up to Daeni though who was keeping to herself for the most part as he looked. "What are you confused about? None of us seem to have the entire answer, but maybe we can help." He offered her the best he could

Following to the barrel coming from the house, Everette knew that it wouldn't be the cause of the issue. Given that each house had their own different system, the water from house to house, the the quality of it would change. For the illness to be so wide spread, it likely spawned from one source. Even so, Everette took another couple of bottle filling them from the barrel next to the house and one from the shed, marking them as well with the pen before putting it all back in his bag. "So each house collects their own drinking water, that is good to know, it helps narrow down possibilities." Everette stated looking around town. "Anything else you think I should have a look at. I would like to go up to the river, but that can wait for a bit. I doubt I will have time for that before I have to meet up with my friends. After though I would like to go see." Now it was a matter of filling a few more minutes before it was time to meet up with everyone else.

Looking around Gavin had gone off to talk to a small child, meanwhile Thea noticed a group of boys off to the side playing. Not really knowing how to talk to people or asking them, about what was happening. So she could pretend she was doing work and really just leave it to Gavin and Zephyr, by making any conversation really. Walking over Thea looked over the boys shoulders to see what they were doing. "So.... What cha playing?" Thea asked curiously. She didn't actually know much about domino's. She had seen them before but never played with them herself.Thea didn't much care she might be interrupting conversation.

Much to Cerdic's surprise, once the rocks were cleared the cavern, looked rather unharmed. He had expected them to have to worry about a cave in at any moment. Unfortunately, the machine was not in the same shape. As they walked further into the cavern, another bit of fog lifted from Cerdic's mind, though nothing made sense to Cerdic still.

While Alder warned Mora not to touch the core and tried to figure out how to put the extractor back together, Cerdic walked to the cave entrance, looking out for any sign of the area he saw in his memory. Cerdic didn't know what it meant, but he wanted to find out. After all he didn't know much about this extractor. He remembered the pain, being betrayed but that was about it. There wasn't much he could do to help, but he wanted to know the purpose of what he had done before.

Knowing it wasn't a good idea to go off on his own, Cerdic turned to Alder.
"Anything I can do to help?" Cerdic asked a little unsure if they would even want help, but he thought it best to offer over just staring into the distance trying to recall memories likely lost.

Torrin came over to check on her, but really didn't do much about it. He pretty much knew she wasn't okay but just told her to stay still and turned his attention back to the conversation with Atmos, who seemed to barely notice her collapse. It wasn't like Tinarah could go anywhere even if she tried. She hated being in this position but she couldn't physically do anything but listen to the conversation around them. Apparently they had been brought to the Castle of the Council, meaning while Stamatis and Gero weren't with them anymore, they were likely safe inside. That was good to know, leaving Tinarah to wonder about Fost now that the others were safe.

As they spoke around her, more people arrived, another Master it seemed, and more so it apparently was Atmos' sister. That was interesting bit of information that Tinarah barely bothered to retain. Soon the tensions rose as one of the students from the castle began to talk, seeming rather rude. While Tinarah didn't like Torrin, she thought this arguing was getting ridiculous, from all parties. Was that really the most important thing right now when they were just fighting off the Light Chaser. Stamatis had gotten hurt it seemed, Choma's castle was ruined a bit, and she was barely able to move, but apparently what was and wasn't done before now was the bigger issue.

The battle to keep herself conscious was a losing one. Her stomach was bothering her again and she had a headache. Tinarah's eyes started to droop just as the other student came up to her, the only person who seemed to be interested in helping her. He was quiet as he looked over her, eventually picking her up, but Tinarah didn't question it as she laid her head against the mans chest, taking some comfort from being in the arms of someone who hadn't tried to harm her in another realm. The man was a stranger, but her trained with the council that Master Stamatis had been running, there was a form of safety in that.

Once in his arms, the boy stepped in trying to stop the argument from going further before asking where he should bring her. Tinarah managed to mumble her thanks to the boy. It was better than being left on the ground. Perhaps when in side she could finally let her body get the rest that she desperately needed. Rest and then food, but currently she didn't have the energy to eat, that would come later. And maybe in the end she could get some answers too, but right now answers were the last thing on Tinarah's mind.

"I don't know if we can stop it from changing, we just do the best with what we have and go for it." Aislinn shrugged, they had to improvise anyways, she wasn't very fluid at fighting with her keyblade in her mouth, but she was making it work. AJ had taken quite a bit of damage, but between him and Kaida they seemed to get the damage under control, leaving Aislinn to fall back on old tactics and hit it until it died as she used her last ability in her arsenal at that moment and went for an all mighty fist bump

The battle behind them, and now Boreas supporting her, Tinarah tried to move forward. Her heart didn't want to leave Stamatis and Atmos behind, but Tinarah knew that they must go forth. She couldn't help, she could barely stand, there was no way she could fight the Light Chaser, he was destroying them. The best they could do was get Gero out. If he was really as important as he seemed then they would have to just go and get him out, leave Torrin, Atmos, and Stamatis to fight the Light Chaser, and hope that they managed to follow soon behind.

No sooner had they made it out of the building when there was a flash of light that surrounded Gero. Tinarah was forced to look away, and when she looked back he wasn't being carried by Boreas, instead standing back in the doorway, calling out to those fighting. Tinarah watched in terror from the background. He was going to kill them wasn't he? He would kill Gero, and Stamatis, he would kill Torrin and Atmos. None of them were left in a good shape currently, and all she could do was sit at some distance away, watching as Boreas held her up, telling her to be prepared if they had the fight. However Tinarah knew if they had to fight there would be no way out. She tried to stand on her own, holding her keyblade up and at the ready, but she wasn't looking all that threatening as she did so, all it would take was a poke and she would fall over, or so it seemed.

It was difficult to make out the full conversation, or anything that was happening further in the hall, but soon Gero had disappeared and things inside seemed quite for a moment... Did that mean that he was going to come for them next? As Tinarah worried there was a flash and Boreas lunged. However a light hand on her shoulder had Tinarah looking back in time to see it was Gero, before they moved worlds once more, leaving them with Atmos and Torrin, Stamatis and Gero gone before they ever could understand what was happening with them and the Light Chaser.

Safe, they were safe. Tinarah didn't know where they were but there was no Light Chaser and no battle. Relief swept over her as her keyblade disappeared. However at the same time the relief came, the adrenaline that had been keeping her going began to fail her. Tinarah dropped to the ground, still conscious, but barely. Her strength had fully failed her now, she had been pushing herself too hard in the last hours between escaping Torrin and the Light Chaser. She barely had to fight in either of the scenarios, but given her current state of health, the fight for her was simply to keep moving, keep talking when she had to. Now it felt all that strength she was holding on to, left her body all at once, now she was left vulnerable on the ground, feeling nervous and uncomfortable given the situation. She wished she could have at least made it to some shelter, but she could only push herself so much it seemed, this time it was out of her hands, there was no stopping it. RNGsus had betrayed her.

Good they were doing well, Alder seemed to be recovering behind him and Daeni was still standing strong. Cerdic wasn't going to make the first move, he wouldn't let Ria taunt him. As they were standing here however suddenly thunder came from the keyblade of Alder. He definitely recovered and they were prepared to fight. Ria seemed to take damage, Cerdic couldn't help but stare for a moment at the distorted legs as he began to repair them. No matter how many times they cut Ria down they could get back up. It was disheartening but it wasn't going to stop Cerdic from fighting.

Before he had a chance to charge forward and take up the offense however, a sudden blast tore through Ria, not killing them but certainly injuring them and pissing them off quite a bit. As he watched Ria struggle a pain came over Cerdic, leaving him clutching at his chest for a moment, but clearly not as painful as it was for some people. Daeni seemed to be taking it harder but Cerdic smiled placing a hand on her shoulder
. "I am fine, worry about yourself." Cerdic tried to instruct Daeni. "For now we need to do something about this guy, just be patient he will give us an opening."

Cerdic didn't even try to move while Ria screamed, he could rush into the battle and give them the upper hand if they wished. He wasn't stupid enough to rush in himself. However instead of charging at them, the screaming Ria retreated, looking more like a heartless than a human. When he faded away standing on the other side was Mora.

Cerdic had no clue how Ria survived or was still standing, but he noticed her keyblade and smiled.
"I knew you had it in you kid." She was injured and offering to guard, but with the healing from Alder and Daeni, Cerdic gave her a thumbs up. "Just don't be afraid to call for help the moment you see something." Cerdic then turned to the rocks and went back to work digging, a feeling of relief knowing not only that Mora was okay, but she now had a keyblade to protect her. The girl was stronger than he gave her credit for.

To no surpsurp this was not going to be an easy battle. Through thetotgers move sets, AuslAis was able to gage what hurt Scar morem however, the abilities that seemed to be working the best were also magic based, something Aislinn was barred off from accessing in her current form. That left one option for her, hit him, and a hit him hard. With that is mind she charged, readying her next move.

She really hated being called by her last name, even more being called Lady. Lady implied she still held the position that she should have in her family, the position she rejected long ago. While Kiara narrowed her eyes at him, she didn't let her anger get the best of her. She knew how this man worked now, taunting and playing with them until they made a mistake. Lucky for her though, Finlay was the same way. For some reason Finlay was making a big deal over the scratch she had given to Uniform, but it did seem to get under his skin, so that was a bonus.

Finally Uniform seemed fed up and summoned heartless back where the others waited, Kiara however had confidence this team was strong enough to deal with them, meaning she didn't turn to help. It might have seemed heartless and uncaring from some peoples perspective, but to Kiara, it was a step in showing she began to trust her team and didn't need to do everything herself. Besides Finlay was still picking fights up here and she couldn't leave that idiot to do it all alone, could she?

The more Finlay taunted, the more annoyed Uniform got and the more pleasure Kiara found in it. He had egged her on like that the first time they met and it didn't turn out for her, now to watch his own tactic being thrown back at him, what was more it was working. Uniform charged at Finlay, but Finlay had been waiting, pinning the mans keyblade to the ground.
"With pleasure." She grinned taking her turn to finally finish off Uniform. Stepping in Kiara caught him across the face with her first strike, the second making contact with his side, the third and forth on his back. Kiara was about to wrap the whip around his neck and finish it off when she stopped. Her mind flashed to her kneeling on the ground, her father standing over her with a whip. Why had she ever chosen this blasted weapon in the first place. With one last lash, Kiara believed he was sufficiently down and out of commission stepping back. She wasn't going to be like him. She wasn't her father, she wouldn't be that cruel. "The kill is rightfully yours Finlay." She told the man turning towards Lima. "Don't think you are getting off so easy though."

Everette nodded pulling out a bottle from his backpack filling it with water to be tested later. "It is quite unfortunate the state of your town. We will do everything we can." But mirror magic was useless here. He wasn't able to do all that much to help the town and it felt horrible. "Is there a way to get to the river that this water comes from, it will be good to have samples from numerous points, check the change in condition of water from one to the next." Everette asked, wondering if something in the soil could be getting into the underground water supply. He didn't want to test all the soil though unless he knew since it would be a large area to cover. Pulling out a pen he marked the bottle that he had first. "Of course that can wait until later, at least after we took at where you store the rain water as well." Everette added since that was likely in town. May as well check out everything close by before he started to jump around and look into everything. And with the river being fifteen miles out, he might not get there and back in an hour, meaning he would need to meet with Conrad and Samuel before he left for it.

Placing a finger to her chin, Thea thought over the plan for a trail. "Well I can always get a bag of... um... rice! Yeah rice. I will get rice and then I will cut a small hole in the bag and then even if that stupid magic works to some extent, but I don't think it will, then you can follow the trail of rice." Thea suggested gleefully as she turned to Gavin who was still worrying. "I don't mind, do whatever you think we need to. We just need it to work after all." Thea told him not really in a position to deny his suggestion anyways.

The teen boy lead them to an inn where Thea insisted on taking her own room. After all she didn't want to sleep with stinky boys. Whether or not they would let her keep her own room when they went to bed was another story, but she at least had to try for now. After setting up their rooms however they then ran off to the town hall to meet with the kids, getting ready to eat dinner. The woman watching them reminded her of one of her old nannies and Thea wasn't too fond of it. Far too stuck up and strict. Thea tried to ignore it however as she turned to the older boys.
"So what are we going to ask the kids?"

The door slammed open and Tinarah's hand tensed on her keyblade, expecting the worst. Instead however she found Boreas standing over her, carrying Master Gero with him. They needed to go, sure, but that was easier said than done. Planting her keyblade in the ground Tinarah used it to help get herself to her feet, her legs shaking terribly as she managed to stand. A wave of black came over her vision and Tinarah braced her free and on the wall, waiting for it to pass. It took a moment but her vision returned and she offered Boreas a nod as she stepped out behind him.

Boreas kept a good pace, but Tinarah lagged behind a bit. She her run was barely a run and she found herself using her keyblade for support. The stairs became daunting as she started down them, trying to hurry and avoid the battle behind them. She wasn't ready to give up and die here, she had to keep going, but she was struggling to do such things. The lack of rest, the single meal, the near starving herself to death, and the running around it took a toll on the girls body, something that no matter how much her mind didn't want to give in, her body was not giving her much of a choice as she stumbled down the last few stair, only catching herself from falling by planting her keyblade in the ground. She was already out of breath as she reached out for Boreas, making sure he didn't leave her behind. Her mind told her it was best that she let Boreas go ahead and save Gero, save the important one without her holding them back, but it was her own fear that had her reaching for him instead of telling him to go.

After standing in an awkward silence for a while waiting for the confirmation, Mirela gave up. Lunaji had offered if she wanted to speak to him that Mortimer would be upstairs, she didn't think she actually needed further permission than that. "Well thank you for bringing me in and showing me around. I am going to pay my respects to Lord Gallahowe now. Thank you again!" With that Mirela turned around and headed for the stairs almost skipping along as she did, her eyes alight with the idea of talking to THE Lord Gallahowe. She didn't necessarily know where she would find him upstairs, but she would look around, she was sure it couldn't be that hard to find him.

Lucian followed behind Dylan wishing he had some of that whiskey. However he was on a job now in a way and had to keep his head at least somewhat clear before he ended up in another mess like the one in the bar. As they walked though instead of explaining the full situation the man asked Kara about the prick of a constable she had been tailing. He had a good idea from the start that the girl wasn't just someone he accidentally bumped into, but if she didn't say anything he didn't care. He didn't really give her much to work with anyways, but he wasn't in the mood to listen to whatever rant this pompous green haired man might have upon finding out, he hoped Kara was in the same boat. Maybe after he took out some anger in a fight or two it could be considered, but not yet.

Silence... silence but a feeling, regret. Tinarah looked disheartened but at least she knew he heard, and he seemed to possibly remember her. It was a small comfort. If he had the connection to her the same as Stamatis, knowing that some time somewhere she might have been important to them, then she had to trust her Uncle knew what he was doing, even if it was hard. It was easier to believe in him than it had ever been to believe in herself, and yet here she was anyways. Still it didn't leave her with a satisfying feeling.

Grabbing her Keyblade, Tinarah pushed herself to her feet. She couldn't leave them to battle alone, she was here, Stamatis said they needed every able bodied master that they could get, and while she was not a master, they might still need help, especially if the Light Chasers students started showing up. The door barely got open when Tinarah could feel her knees shake.
"No... not yet, just one more miracle. One more like I got in jail." Tinarah didn't know who she was praying to but anyone that would give her this miracle. No one else was coming for them, it was up to those who were in the castle.

Stepping through the door, Tinarah peered out just as Atmos was thrown. The impact against the floor was the last little bit needed for Tinarah's legs to give out on her. Who was she to think one bowl of soup was enough to keep her going in a battle against the man who was feared by so many it seemed. She had needed to use her keyblade to even stand up off her bed, praying for a miracle, to who? If there was some sort of god out there he clearly didn't care for her, she knew this. Tinarah used what strength she had left to push herself back into her room, leaning against the inner wall, listening to the battle around her, listening to Torrin's commands as she was powerless to help.
"Guess I am still not strong enough yet.... It just means I have to live to make up for this and every other time." She told herself softly, keeping her keyblade by herself, a small comfort, scared who might come through that door for her. If she was lucky it would be Boreas... If not... she couldn't imagine what may lay ahead of her this time.
