Dog. Tex Avery or Chuck Jones?
80/100 Same as before. xD
80/100 I don't know U. XD
Title says everything. :P
Nope, still think that all Disney films stunk after the 50's. Still love the games to bits, though. :P
Which do you prefer? Personally, I think Jerry needs to get his arse kicked. :D
For what they were worth, I think the Ty Tasmanian Tiger series were extremely well-done, and the graphics and character designs are quite unique. The original is probaly my favorite. Murray & Dimitri from the Sly series are some of the funniest video game characters ever. XDDD
Mine was a really dumb thread, asking if Xemnas in KHFM had as much hype as Terra in his "hey-day" as I was studpidly curious. XDDD
. I really like the Nicktoons Unite series. Why? Because they are so poorly produced and made, their fun. :P . I also really enjoy the Kao Kangaroo series, for the same reasons as above, only I love these games much more. . Gotta go with the others that say Psychonauts is underrated. That game is demanding a sequel! .I personally feel the very 1st Ratchet & Clank game was the weakest in the series. Don't get me wrong, I still like the game, but the games got MUCH more exciting as the series rolled by. However, the stories have become less interesting, IMO. .God of War is really overrated. When I first started playing, it was the same expirience as playing DMC. Not to mention the whole gore and nudity thing gets tiring after awhile. . I don't go for the Grand Theft Auto series. Sorry, GTA fans. . Boy, I've named some overrated games(God of War, GTA, Jak 2) but if I had to pick one series that gets WAY too much attention, it has to be Final Fantasy. The games and stories are extremely monotonous, with the very dull "Turn-based combat" being used, with the obvious exception of the latest entry. And FFX has to be one of the dumbest games I've ever played. Overall, I actually think KH is much better then FF. I agree with your last statement. Despite that I think Sly 3 is the best entry, the original will always be my personal favorite. :)
Twenty-One.
Figured this might prove a versatile topic. Name some of your guilty pleasures, what games you think are overrated or underrated, etc. .The Sly Cooper games are extremely underrated. It was the only series to actually get better as the series progressed, unlike Ratchet & Clank or Jak & Daxter. .Jak 2 is an extremely overrated game. I played it, hoping it would as good as the reviews stated. Those reviews were dead wrong. The game's story is pretty lame and tries way too hard to be dark and mature. The game itself is'nt much fun either. Jak 3 is a blast, though. .Rayman may be the greatest of all forgotten video game characters. His design is incredibly unique, and is one of the few characters out there without the 'gun-lover with attitude' personality that's all too common these days. Its too bad he's been eclipsed by those rabbids... :( . New.Sonic.Games.Suck. What are some of your guilty (or minority) opinions? :)
Adventures of Tom Sawyer Adventures of Huckleberry Finn Of Mice & Magic(History of Golden Age of Animation)
Fox & Crow Real Screen Funnies Some Dodo & the Frog, but they are pretty lame in comparison to Fox & Crow.
Too bad that cartoon sucks. :D Anyways, I enjoyed this movie. And that's something, given that I usually don't watch documentaries.
One of the few modern cartoons I enjoy. ^^ Of course, not on the same level as the classics, though. :D
Edit: Looks pretty awful. Too bad my pop wants to see it. Says I need to watch some modern cartoons for a change...
32824 I've been on a Noveltoons kick lately. :( http://www.dailymotion.com/relevanc.../video/x2emu6_sudden-fried-chicken_shortfilms Btw, anyone else notice that when a husband abuses his wife, its cruel and wrong? But when the wife does it to her hubby, its comedy? What a great country! :D
32741 Here's the worst Tom & Jerry cartoon ever made. Gene Deitch totally misunderstood the characters and funny violence of the excellent Hanna-Barbera shorts. In Deitch's T&J Tom is put through some of the most sadistic and unfunny torture ever vented on a cartoon character. The H&B shorts had boundaries and there was rarely any sense of pure hatred between the characters; Jerry could trap Tom's tail in a waffle iron or break all his teeth with a hammer, but he'd also save him from drowning in the sea ('The Cat And The Mer-Mouse') or happily accept the gift of a strawberry pie from him, as from a friend ('Jerry's Diary'). In the Deitch shorts Jerry is pure evil and causes GBH to Tom even when the poor cat is minding his business! There is nothing slapstick about a cat being dunked in boiling water or a cat's owner roasting the face of his cat between a red-hot griddle. Deitch could have continued with the humour of the later H&B shorts where the violence was substantially toned down and Tom wasn't the only character to suffer; from around 1953 H&B decided to make Jerry the victim of some hard knocks too and so he didn't get away with constantly winning in every episode. But even if Deitch wanted to emulate the violence of the pre-1953 H&B shorts he was going about it in the wrong way. His brand of violence was cruel and disturbing, as in the two examples I gave. Funnily, though, Deitch is quite protective over his T&J shorts. He believes that they are far superior to the later Chuck Jones incarnations and he has even said that the average viewer will detect no difference between a classic H&B T&J and one of his putrid T&J's. http://video.google.com/videoplay?d...l=1&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0 This is the worst cartoon ever, period.
But that's my point. Its a really well-made and very important to the industry, but the movie itself does'nt hold up 70 years later.
See if anyone's bothered to watch any of the cartoons I post. XDDD
