No, I know, just my random ramblings on the subject. I was feeling really cynical and bored when I wrote that.

Any animal that is on any endangered or threatened species list should not be allowed to be kept as pets, simply because it would feed poachers who trap them, sometimes killing some before they get one. Also, some animals, if they escaped, might cause ecologic harm. Look at when pigs were introduced to several islands in the Pacific, around the time of the British Empire - they're STILL cleaning up those messes. Or Kudzu in North Carolina - a vine that now drapes itself over almost everything in the town of Gastonia, where I live, except areas where they have taken a great deal of effort to eradicate it. It was brought in to solve some other ecologic problem (I forget which). And what about the rats that brought the Black Plague to Europe? Certain animals, if they are improperly released, escape, or improperly regulated can cause massive harm to an ecosystem.

We need to be EXTREMELY careful about what is introduced to the population and ecology of America.

As I'm sure others have said, it was most likely a crank caller or a pissed-off student. They get TONS of those around the country. However, they can never take them too lightly, in the wake of Columbine and other shootings, 9/11, etc.

One time, I remember, my brother's (former) best friend was at a private high school after leaving a Christian middle school, and threatened to blow it up. He was completely sh*tting around, he has no knowledge of explosives nor does he have any way to buy them. However, the school expelled him, and he did some jail-time. He is now, last I heard (a few years ago) in public high school (the same one I went to, in fact - bumped into him a few times on visits back), although he has yet to actually threaten the school. He'll probably end up in prison before long.

Wow... I'd better wrap this up before I start to ramble.

Story of my life. I have even read the entire Bible through multiple times, the first attempt being when I was about to enter Kindergarten. I then left the faith after realizing how much evidence there is against Christianity, how intolerant Christians are, and what I wanted my career path to be (I cannot accept, in the interests of future archaeology, that the world will end before we cause it to or before the sun dies).

I used to be like you, R~M, except that I, luckily, didn't have internet access. Then, I realized something - you cannot change scientific minds through blind faith. You MUST use logic, reasoning, and above all, PROOF.

If you enjoy the Halo series, then it's probably worth it. I don't really know for sure, but it can't be TOO bad...

I don't see it as religious, anymore - I see it as heritage. We were founded as a bunch of religious, mostly Christian refugees fleeing the Catholic Church. Even if it wasn't added in until later, it's still part of the fabric of America.

Yes. I have. Because you can find "facts" to back up any argument you care to make. I doubt any figures you come up with, because you seem to me to be some pothead who just wants to be legal.

Nah. In fact, although I'm not particularly recommending this, I can get by well on 6 hours, as long as I don't do anything strenuous the previous day.

From where? Was it an unbiased, politically neutral, religiously neutral, independently funded research company, or was it the media? The mostly liberal, politically biased and financially influenced media? I don't TRUST the media. I don't even LIKE the media.

I tend to agree, but I say keep the "under God" in, as a sign of respect to our (americans in general) original heritage as religious refugees.

That sounds..... really really creepy. I'm sure it won't be too bad, but I've never been a fan of Tim Burton's style, so I think I'll steer clear of this one.

Yea, that seems pretty racist on your friend's part. If she doesn't straighten out, someones going to - hard. Not me, of course, but one day, she's gonna be in trouble with that attitude.

I lie about small things occasionally - just things that I don't want my folks to b*tch at me about. I never lie about big things, or about things that can affect other people's lives.

Contrary to what you have probably been told, there is more to making AMVs than putting a few random clips to music and adding random effects. Just, please, tell me you didn't use WMMs auto-movie function! Here, look at some examples (some are mine, some are not - not all of them are WMM, but you can see what kind of things AMVs have in them):

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xDpA3aBcuA

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcKaiScpaqA&feature=channel_page

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybcaI7SU-UI

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6qO6rsH9bI

There are many more videos like this, yet there are, unfortunately, many THOUSANDS more that are absolutely horrible - making it understandably hard to learn from randomly watching other AMVs.

If you need any more names to look up, PM me on Youtube uder Childofturin.

Quoted for EXTREME relevance. I would appreciate it EXTREMELY if people would be TOLERANT of other religions or lack thereof. You have your religion, and I have mine. My mother tried to teach me that just LIVING like a Christian will teach others, and they will then be curious. You don't need to scream it like a banshee (I say tried because I left the faith, so her teaching obviously didn't take with me).

You CAN NOT convince people like me, who value evidence and facts, about the "rightness" of Christianity just by saying "God exists". I will just tune you out and think bad things about you. If you want me to believe, PROVE IT TO ME. Give me HARD EVIDENCE of some miracle - evidence that can mean NOTHING ELSE. You cannot use the Bible as evidence, because there is no corroboration of the events, and it was written by "flawed", possibly lying humans.

I cannot accept the idea that someone who has NEVER heard ANYTHING about Christianity just... goes to hell, for no apparent reason.

From the original post - it's not lack of sleep. Probably it's the fact that ANY foreign language is probably the most boring subject you'll ever take.
