Oh, I forgot to add in doing the laundry... running up the stairs to grab dirty clothes, then sorting them because heaven forbid the light pinks get mixed in with the darks, then hanging the wet clothes and shoving the rest in the dryer, only to realize half an hour into the drying process that you left your bra in that pile, said bra which has now shrunk to being a rather fashionable, lacy hat for a two-headed squirrel. Rinse, repeat. >.<

I would want to die doing something I really loved; were it to suffer a heart attack while practicing martial arts, breaking my neck while climbing a tree, or even just being hit by a car as I walked my dog... as long as I was doing what I loved, I don't think leaving this world would be too bad. Mm... you're right. I've noticed that in my own style before, but never gave it any heed as I was always able to break it up a bit by using gestures and descriptions in-between lines. I am a sucker for dialogue, and I've never been good with prose, but I see what you mean; it's almost painful to go back and read that now that I'm specifically pointing out what is in need of improvement. Thank you very much for your suggestions; I'll take them to heart and (hopefully) become a better author. I may rewrite pieces of this chapter, as well as the rest of this story utilizing that.
