Aux was pretty much unresponsive to Aislinn's attempts to get him moving. Did he even understand the importance of this? Given how little he seemed to know about everything it was possible that he didn't know, but this was such an important test for him to be oblivious to. It seemed odd that one would enter the Mark of Mastery and not know what they signed up for. What had the game masters lead him to believe he was doing then? What were they allowing this kid to get into? Worry gnawed at Aislinn as she thought about this. She had to push it aside just enough to deal with the hyena's first, then maybe she would try talking to the boy. Shenzi was looking rough and Aislinn was ready to finish dealing with her. This was enough messing around, getting used to her new body. "Your finished." She mumbled as she summoned her keyblade in her mouth as she saw others doing. Not the ideal way to wield a keyblade but it could do some damage and that is what she wanted. Shenzi looked a bit more terrified now, clearly not sure what was going on now that she also had a weapon. Aislinn used this moment of fear and confusion to her advantage as jumped up and brought her keyblade down on Shenzi, knocking the hyena out. That was one down, but two still remained. Behind her one of her partners was fighting another hyena on his own, while Hikaru and Kaida fought the other. It was probably best that she focused on helping her own team before helping the other one. "What do you say, think we can finish this one off before they finish theirs?" Aislinn asked AJ, more friendly competition to keep things interesting and the kids motivated. When she was done talking she summoned her keyblade back to her mouth and turned her attention towards Banzi. AJ had certainly done a good job keeping this one at bay. As the hyena laughed at them, something that was really getting on Aislinn's nerves, Aislinn lowered her head and charged, hitting first with her horns, and then while it was stunned, catching it with her keyvlade on a upwards swing. Slowly she was falling into a rhythm of fighting in this form, still not as graceful as her human form, but she was getting pretty close. After kicking him once for good measure, Aislinn took a step back to breath, finding it a little harder to breath properly with her keyblade in her mouth, she couldn't go all out all the time until she learned to control her breathing a little better, then, they would be in trouble. It looked like everyone was doing well with their own hyena's and Aislinn was not letting up the one that she had cornered. While AJ was trying to get information out of them, Aislinn wasn't ready to let them go just yet, she didn't trust any information given would be accurate. And if it was they would probably use the time talking to buy time until this scar person got there. Aislinn wasn't going to allow that. If they spoke while they fought that would be fine, if they ran away, that would also work, but she wouldn't stop the battle to give them chance to talk. Shenzi was certainly not backing down however, she seemed more like the leader of the group and was showing her strength through the battle. That wasn't a problem however, it just made it a little more Interesting in the end, more of the challenge that this test was supposed to be. She took every challenge as another step of progress through the events. It was the positive side that helped her going forward through this entire thing. She was not going to say it wasn't hard, it was hard sometimes, but she forced herself to keep a level head through that sort of positive thinking. Charging forward again at Shenzi the hyena ramming her with her had. There was not much for variation in her moves and she certainly couldn't use her normal move set. While normally Aislinn liked to pride herself on how graceful and fluid her fighting style was, in this case, running around on four legs, that was not so much the case. Instead it was a series of stomping hooves and whipping her head around. At least she was trying to be helpful and in the end made a few good hits with her horns on the hyena. It was starting to look worse for wear by now but they still had two more to deal with. They also looked quite injured, but not nearly as much as the one Aislinn was dealing with. The sooner she could finish this one off the sooner she would help the others. Banzai - 88/150 BP Shenzi - 52/150 BP Ed- 82/180 BP Exp Writer: 360 Words 36 EXP

It still amazed Aislinn that it was preffered to sit on her antlers than sit up straigh on literally other place on her to perch or anyone. Aislinn didn't mind if Ananta wanted to rest there, but wouldn't it be easier to sit on her back or something? Either way she wasn't going to bother arguing as there was a bit of a fight at hand. Ananta took off to help in the fight, summoning her keyblade it seemed to help. It was good to know that they were able to summon keyblades in this form, though Aislinn wasn't sure how she would use hers quite yet, however using the natural weapons gazelles have, was much more fun anyways. Those horns were not just for looking pretty. And whoever this Scar person was that gave them orders, it was best not let him in too much on who they were or what exactly they could do. Aislinn was about to turn her attention fully back to Shenzi when she heard a yelp, whipping her head around she was relieved to see that it was one of the hyena's and not one of their own, that being said she spotted Aux still down at the same time. A little concerned of the situation Aislinn backed off a couple steps as Ananta helped deal with Shenzi. She couldn't let Aux just sit there like that. "Hey kid, you aren't going to let your friends show you up are you? Look at how much work they are putting in while you laze around. I know you aren't that big of a bum." Listening to the way that Kaida, Aux, and Hikaru had been talking she figured competition was the better option to get him going. "And if you don't want to fight, maybe it is best that you move out of the way a bit." She said, cringing slightly as a fire blast went off not too far away. "Or else you might be caught in one of those." She warned before giving him a nudge with her foot encouraging him up. It was about all she could do and there was still a battle around them. Now with her attention fully on the fight instead of the those around her. Shenzi was looking a little worse for wear thanks to Ananta's efforts. If they could get her out then the other two shouldn't be a problem, as long as Hikaru stopped making puns back and forth with Ed, they were just bad and hurt her soul slightly. At least he was having fun with this she supposed. Charging at Shenzi Aislinn went to impale the Heyna on the end of her antlers. The hyena was not a total idiot however and was able to manage to dodge her attack for the most part, only taking part of the damage she originally intended, not that she had any problems with that, it just meant that she had to try harder. Turning around she started to stomp her hooves and catch Shenzi with them twice before lowering her head again and ramming the hyena once more. Sooner this one was dealt with sooner she could help AJ and Kaida with their hyena's and then perhaps look into who this Scar person was that they spoke about. They were not making great headway on what direction they should go or what they should do. Aux didn't even really seem to know how to stand or walk around properly in this form, making travelling difficult. There was mention of a faint smell, but before they could bother investigating into the matter further there was more voices showing up, making comments on Aux's comment that he could eat Kaida. Aislinn hadn't thought anything of Aux's threat but these new voices seemed a little more worrisome. Turning to look at the source of the voice, Aislinn spotted three hyena's licking their lips. "Three of you against two lions, your eyes are really bigger than your stomachs aren't they?" Aislinn commented back to them as they continued to circle. The puns they continued to make were painful to listen to, but it seemed like they wouldn't shut up no matter what she would say. It also didn't help that Aux tried to talk back only to fall on his face. While it was kind of funny, it was not the time to be dealing with that. Aislinn started to move forward, trying to almost protect the young lion who couldn't stand on his feet, while keeping an eye on the hyena's. They were picking on Kaida too and Aislinn went into protective mode as she lowered her head and pounded her hoofs. "I think you are mistaken. I see no food here, just some idle threats. Leave before I make you." She told them knowing that her threats would only go so far. The only way that they would get anywhere was to show them who was boss, which Kaida was already doing. Even as a small bird the girl managed to kick butt. AJ soon joined the fight after that. "Hate to break it to you, but you are a little out numbered here." She pointed out before charging, trying to separate the last hyena from it's friend. It was better not to let them use pack tactics, instead keeping them apart. If she remembered anything about hyena's it was they worked best together, keep them apart and they might have an easier time dealing with them. It was not like Aislinn saw them as a threat though as she ran her horns into the creature before stomping her hooves trying to also hit Shenzi. There was no guarantee that it would work but she could at least try. Banzai - 119/150 BP Shenzi - 117/150 BP Ed: 148/180BPEXP Writer II: 409 words 40 exp
╔════»Arian eyed as Aalis took down more of the Beowulves, this would be close. This time Aalis managed to take down two of the grimm only leaving one left standing. A grin spread across his face as he surveyed the last remaining creature. "DIBS!" Arian called out as he readjusted his grip on his blades, his ears shooting around, listening for anyone who was going to interrupt his kill. There was no way that he was going to give up this chance, not when if he didn't get the kill he would lose the bet. Rushing forward Arian made quick work of a five hit combo, catching the Beowulf in the leg, then shoulder, followed by its side and back before finally going for his head, lopping it off. Arian then backed off and looking at the carnage around but then back to Aalis. "Guess that makes it a tie. So what do we do with that?" It was rare for bets to end in a tie and when there was no parameters set out, it was harder to tell what they would get out of it. ════╝ All Beowulves are dead Taking down the Ursa was only the start of the battle. There were still Beowulves to deal with and those things were still nasty. It seemed as though everyone had joined the fray by this point. The battle was going well, but not well enough. The Beowulves seemed to be getting even more enraged and started attacking them. Auburn as many others were caught in the attack, as she used her blades to attempt to block them. At least she came out better than some. One Beowulf tried to attack her and while it got some damage in, it didn't do as much damage as she thought that it would, instead the young girl was left standing tall. It wasn't her first time dealing with Grimm, thanks to her fathers training, so this didn't scare her. As much as small things, such as people bothered her, when she got into fighting it came naturally. Moving away she looked around seeing what she had to deal with here. There were still five Grimm left standing, however they had already taken out six, this wouldn't be a big issue. Moving forward an idea popped in her mind. For Auburn this was one of her less trained skills, as she felt like a bit of a late bloomer when it came to her semblance. While she knew how to use it now it wasn't until a year ago that it manifested itself, and it took a while after that to get used to it. She still wasn't entirely used to it, but she was getting better. Charging towards one of the enraged beowulves, just as she got close enough for it to attack her, she shrunk herself down to the size of a rat, running between it's legs. The creature was clearly confused as it looked around for where the girl had gone. A moment later she ran between it's back legs, her size suddenly growing larger than normal as she plunged a blade into it's back. Just as Auburn started to shrink down to her normal size, she flicked her wrist causing her blade to go into gun form and aimed it towards the Beowulf that another of her teammates was attempting to fight, firing once catching the creature in it's leg. She had been too distracted with the grimm she had killed to have properly aimed her attack. Auburn HP: 12/15 Auburn Amo: 2/3 Grimm injured : Beowulf 2/4 Beowulves remaining: 4/10
He might have gotten a few hits in but it was still far from a victory for Aaron. Soon the battle ax came out and Aaron was still stuck fighting without weapons, hands chained.Even as a witcher, he knew how unfortunate the situation looked as he dodged back from the first swing, forced to go on the defense. Soon after he heard a shout from behind him, it was enough of a distraction that Aaron was more than grateful that he had cast Quen on himself, as the battle ax grazed the shield and caused a small explosion as it deflected the attack. However from what he could tell the other guy was more an ally than an enemy which was a good thing. He prayed that he was right about that as the sky darkened and his captor sent a bolt of lightning at the man who had arrived to help, never taking his eyes off him, not allowing him that opening. Stepping forward Aaron attempted to go on the offense, faking an attack with his hands before ducking low and swinging out his leg trying to knock Thorvald to the ground. It he could jar the battle ax from the man hand he might stand a chance here, if not he could be in trouble fast.
Mirela was pleasantly surprised at how nice Lunaji was to speak with. Thankfully the woman informed her that she didn't need to be versed in social graces, which was a relief for Mirela since she wasn't all that good at them. She tried but often times falling short, mainly because she really liked to talk. "I don't mind meetings, I think they are rather interesting actually. Being able to share. Why wouldn't you love them? It is all just more steps towards progress. And it isn't often times that I get to attend meetings, well at least not meetings with other professionals. I attend lots with people who hire me to make or repair things for them." Mirela explained as they walked, oblivious to anything else around her. The topic of her bird came up and Mirela beamed. "Oh you mean Flicka? She is one of my proudest accomplishments. Actually the fact that she is so small is why it works so well. It was a pain to make all the mechanisms fit in such a small area, but it needed to be small and light to work properly. There is a small chip in her that tells her what to do, but the majority of the stuff is commanded remotely as to save space. I based her design off of the hummingbird. I found them fascinating creatures... though I nearly got in trouble for studying one. It was worth it though, after all Flicka is great. Much better than having a real bird. I would love to show her to you one day. I didn't bring her along though, couldn't leave the shop completely empty after all." Mirela was clearly overjoyed just to have someone to talk to about this sort of stuff, enough so that she nearly forgot that she was standing in the house of one of her idols about to go to one of his meetings. "What sort of favour are we talking here?" Not that Lucian actually cared, but even drunk he liked to know what he was getting himself into. However before he could find out Kara left to deal with whoever had entered the house. In the meantime Lucian decided he didn't care what the favour was, he just wanted a drink. With that in mind he slipped from the bed where he sat to the desk, opening the drawer that Kara had kicked. Yep this was definitely his kind of girl. Booze in the desk, classic and great. Lucian could hear mumbling from downstairs and decided he might want to listen in a little bit, just to know what was going on and if he should be worried, not that he couldn't take on anyone who dare challenge him. Booze in hand he slowly opened Kara's door and listened carefully as he sipped on the drink... well maybe drank it a little faster than just sipping it. Something about looking for someone to do with an important guy but going to the slums to find out. Curious situation, but not one that Lucian was convinced he wanted to stick his nose into... yet.
Cerdic listened to what everyone had to say, but he just kind of shrugged it off. There was talk but nothing that actually got them anywhere. "For once I agree with Alder. We need to keep moving at the very least." Cerdic stated. It might be the one and only time he said the words "I agree with Alder." On this little adventure he was finding more and more he was agreeing that what Alder was saying even if part of his mind was set against it. "We know that Ria is a monster, that is no surprise. What we really need to figure out is how to deal with the monster, not how much of a monster they are. They have killed our friends, that should be enough evidence." Cerdic stated as they continued to walking through the Tunnel. As he walked Cerdic came up with a plan that felt oddly out of character for him, but he knew it was probably the best course of action. While Cerdic had an opinion it wasn't something that people often listened to, Alder on the other hand.... "Lead us to where we need to go, fearless leader." Cerdic said straight to Alder hoping the others would pick up on that idea. There was no use fighting anymore they needed to get through this alive, and Cerdic knew, despite how much it bothered him, that Alder was likely their best chance.
Ananta was around looking around for any hints of what was ahead before she perched on Aislinns antlers, asking if it was alright for her to sit there. "I don't see why not, but isn't it a bit uncomfortable, aren't those things sharp?" Aislinn asked, legitimately curious how Ananta found it comfortable to sit on her antlers. Soon after Ananta came through, Aux followed, a little confused about the transformation. She watched him try to stand on his hind legs only to fall on his back. She couldn't help but laugh a little bit. Trotting up to Aux she looked down at him. "I would offer to help you up, but I might stab you. Just run around a little bit, you will get used to it quicker than you would think." She told him laughing a little still. Hikaru seemed excited about the animal forms but Aux not so much, that was clear from the way he spoke. Aislinn just smile, the banter was nice, friendly and made the exam feel, less stressful. Kaida however didn't seem to feel the same way. It was clear she had a problem with Aux, or a lot of people did, but Aislinn wasn't going to pry into the matter. "I suppose she is right, we should get a start on this, it is still an exam after all." She said as she turned towards the vast open space. "So.... what direction?"
Episode Tinarah: Part 2 Murder or Miracle? "Hello? Hellooo? I see you stirring. If you've been faking being unconscious that isn't very nice." A young boy's voice cut through the darkness. The room that Tinarah was in was well-furnished and tidy. The decor could have been described as rustic. A large bookcase stood behind the boy on the opposite side of the room. The bed Tinarah was on top of was small. Child-sized so it was normal for her. Light filtered in through the curtains and reflected off the polished wooden floor. It was clearly daytime. The boy stared at Tinarah curiously with his dark blue eyes, nervously fidgeting with his fingers. As she fell Tinarah knew it was the end, she was just waiting for that darkness to embrace her. There was no way that she could survive a fall like this. The pain that awaited her at the bottom scared her the most, but with a fall like this, hopefully there wouldn't be much pain before darkness embraced her at last. The world was black, but Tinarah heard a voice. Was this an afterlife? Did she somehow survive the fall? Was that even possible? Slowly opening her eyes Tinarah could tell that she was inside, and there was someone in the room with her. Looking around Tinarah came to the conclusion that this couldn't have been the afterlife. This is the second time she had awoken from passing out, for a reason she wasn't quite clear on, in a place she didn't know. Tinarah didn't even try and sit up this time, still trying to mentally assess the possible damage done from the fall. "W-who are you? And where am I? What happened?" Tinarah asked slowly and groggily. For now that was all she needed to know. More questions were sure to be asked later, but first she just wanted to sort out what happened. "I'm..." The boy looked down, tapping his two index fingers together. "Most people just call me A. Only my parents ever use my full name...they're away right now. You're in my home. I found you out on the streets. I dragged you hear before anyone else woke up. You didn't look hurt but I think the dragging ruined your clothes." He looked at Tinarah and frowned. "I'm sorry. So...what's your name? Where are you from? Do you have a concussion? Should I have taken you to a doctor? OhnoIshouldhavedonethatI'mreallysorry." The first thing that Tinarah really caught on to was that she didn't seem hurt. Slowly she started to sit up, testing the theory. Minor stinging, probably from being dragged, but nothing major. "I... Not hurt? But I was thrown off a bridge. It was a long fall... I should be dead." As she spoke the reality of what happened set in. "M-my brother threw me from a bridge trying to kill me." Tears came to her eyes as she thought if his betrayal. It was like a blow to the face. It was not all the boy had said though and Tinarah knew she had to at least try and answer one more question. "Tinarah... My name I mean." She said through quiet sobs. The boy scratched his head, clearly confused by what Tinarah was telling him. There weren't any bridges around he knew of and if this girl had been thrown off one she should have been way more hurt than she appeared to be. "You can stay here as long as you want Tinarah." A looked over towards the bookshelf behind him. "The other kids tell me what I read isn't...fun but I can share with you if you want...Are you hungry? I can get you something. Anything!" He spoke excitedly, happy at the prospect of having someone over even if she didn't look to happy be to be there. "I- I shouldn't stay. I need to find a way back. I need to find my friends or Master Choma. I need to tell them I'm alright and then go home before my brother gets mad at me again. I don't know why he did that. I don't understand why he threw me off that bridge and I don't get how I survived, but I did so I have to prove I am stronger. I cam wield a keyblade as good as him." Tinarah went on more trying to make sense out of everything that happened to her more than tell the boy about it. The boy however seemed excited to have company and Tinarah didn't want to be rude. "I wouldn't mind something to eat if you are offering." Tinarah added quietly after. She honestly couldn't remember last time she ate, perhaps it was good to eat. "I don't know who those are--wait you have a master? What are you a student of? Martial arts? You look too young to be thinking about getting stronger." He stated despite the fact that he was younger than her. In fact, his manner of speaking sounded reminiscent of an adult which only changed when he grew excited or nervous. On seeing that this girl seemed like she wouldn't "bite" his mind was beginning to be set at ease. He vanished behind the room's doorway and footsteps echoed outside as his shoes hit the steps of stairs that were directly outside. Not minutes later did those same footsteps come again quickly ascending the stairs and drawing near. His head popped out from behind the doorway first, the rest of his body hidden from view. "We haven't gone shopping in a while and ...well everyone loves ice cream, right? I hope you do. It's all we have." He walked over to reveal what was in his hands; a bright blue bowl in his hands and in it was a spoon sticking out of several scoops' worth of chocolate ice cream. The boy started to wonder about her comment on having a master and Tinarah realized how odd it might have sounded. "Oh I am a student studying to be keyblade wielder. Well I am not really studying. After a... Accident Choma found me and took me in. He started training me but something was going wrong, another keyblade master disappeared. We went to help, and well we weren't able to help one world. Darkness was too much and we had to run. We tried to help another world but... I don't know what happened with that. I was fighting heartless and then there was pain and I woke up and I was in a strange place with a person I thought was bad. Then he sent me to that bridge with my brother." Tinarah then ranted on, not realizing how much she was talking. She then remembered the comment on needing to get stronger. "Oh and I need to get stronger because.... Well I have been really scared and my brother always had to go to take care of me. I feel guilty you know." Tinarah tried to explain but the boy soon walked away to get her food she asked for. The boy left and returned with ice cream. While not what she expected it was good enough. "Thank you." She said quietly eating in small bites. She was already embarrassed enough. He scratched his head and began to wonder if Tinarah was exaggerating the detail of her story. Darkness? Keyblade? Who would make a weapon out a key? Of all the objects to make a blade out of, why a key? Even a chainsaw sounded better. He snickered upon imagining the girl swinging an oversized key around like a bat to attack little monsters with googly eyes. What a silly thought. "So your master taught you how to swing a big key? I don't buy that. Are you sure you didn't hit your head too hard?" Stepping closer, A narrowed his eyes at Tinarah in some attempt to see if her head looked fine. It did. He sat at the edge of the bed though he was too short for his feet to touch the ground and simply swung his legs as he watched Tinarah. "I can take you to the doctor. My dad's a doctor. He can check you up and maybe we can help you find your home. Would you want that?" The way the boy worded it made her sound insane, but it was true. Tinarah Nodded at him. "Yeah I guess you could say that. The Keyblade is a powerful almost magical weapon. Here I will sho-" Tinarah flicked her wrist expecting the keyblade to come to her, but it didn't. She did it once more but still nothing. She began looking very upset and almost a little scared. Without being able to summon her keyblade she had no proof that what she was saying was actually true. "What's happening? Why can't I summon it?" Tinarah questioned before looking at the boy. "I swear I am not making this up. I am not crazy. I want to find a way home, but I don't need a doctor. It is true. I don't know why I can't summon it though. Maybe it had something to do with that man. He healed the scar on one of my wrists but maybe in the process he was able to take away my ability to use the keyblade. I don't know. But I was able to use it. If we ever find Chrono or Master Choma, ask them, they will confirm that." Tinarah argued as she showed him her wrists where one was scarred and the other looked like there was never any damage to it. The boy held his hands up towards Tinarah. "It's okay. Relax. Maybe you hit your head? I believe you but maybe something else is wrong?" He looked at her wrists, unsure what to make of it. She had scars on one and not the other but he had no idea what to make of it. Did someone hurt her recently besides the time she said her brother attacked her? Or what? The boy was normally very good at connecting dots but this was a time where very little made sense but he did genuinely want to help this girl. There was the sound of a door opening downstairs. "Oh! My parents must be back. Maybe they can help you!" As he made his way to the door there was a tremor. It was slight but it was enough to cause the light fixture hanging overhead to sway ever so slightly. The boy looked up at the sky and frowned. "Huh...weird...that...that doesn't normally happen..." He looked up and waited for the fixture to stop swinging. Part of Tinarah didn't believe that A actually believed her. She wanted to believe the boy was that nice, but even she understood how crazy she must have sounded when everything she said was being proven wrong slowly. Her keyblade was gone, and she had no evidence of anything to back up her claims. Even showing her scars, he had not seen her wrists before to know that anything was different. Tinarah was getting uncomfortable as she sat there looking at the boy as he pondered if something else was wrong. If that was the case, Tinarah was not going to be of much help. Thankfully there was the sound of a door closing and the boy claimed that his parents were home. In the end she knew it would only make things more awkward, but it got her away from the conversation for at least a few minutes. A never totally made it out of the room before there was a tremor and he seemed confused about it. Tinarah also watched as the light fixture swayed but didn't think too much about it. Perhaps a small earthquake or something. Whatever it was was not destructive, so it was not that big of a deal. "I am sure it is nothing." Tinarah said quietly, a small encouragement to hopefully make him worry less and maybe get him out of the room for a bit. "I hope so." A responded, frowning at the ceiling now that his mind was preoccupied with what it was. He would have continued towards the door but heard faint sounds of voices from a distance outside. He blinked and walked back into the room. He looked around for a moment wondering where exactly it was coming from. The voices grew louder and he could vaguely distinguish that it was shouting. Were people cheering? Was there a parade he had not known about? "What's going on?" He asked out loud, heading over towards his window. Daylight was quickly fading. "It's too early for sunset." He muttered. There was another earthquake. The sounds of people were closer now and it was only then that they could tell that this was screaming. "No..." He pressed his palms to the window and stared outside, frozen in place. A few blocks away a house sank straight into the ground. The sky was turning pitch black and as people fled to the streets dark creatures with yellow eyes began to attack those who ran. "W-what's happening!?"

By the time that Auburn awoke there was a message on her phone from her father. He must have called back in the middle of the night. She had gone to bed not long after leaving the message for her father so it wasn't all that surprising that she missed him, but she was a little upset that she had been unable to speak to him. She could at least listen to what he had to say, maybe he would explain where he is, what he is doing, why he wasn't there. However before Auburn was able to actually check her message, Glynda walked around telling everyone to meet her in the lobby. Knowing that she should listen and hurry up. Shoving her phone into her pocket Auburn quickly dressed and made decent time getting down to the lobby, just finishing securing her weapons as she approached the group, choosing a spot off to the edge and watching from there. On top of keeping her out of the way, Auburn actually found it easier to see and listen from the side instead of the front. When others were around they often made noise, whether it be talking or fidgeting, so removing herself from that simply made things easier on herself when she was trying to fully listen. That didn't mean everything was easy to listen to however, as Qrow kept interrupting to do the explaining himself. It was an annoying way to go about things, but she supposed as long as the general point was gotten across, then she wouldn't complain. When the rest of the students finished trickling in, new members were assigned to the teams. Auburn took a quick glance around trying to pick out who the members were. It was pretty easy to tell who the two knew people were, however she wasn't quite sure which was which, one of them would be joining her team. There was no time for proper introductions as Qrow spoke over Glynda once more to inform them of their mission. So they needed to go around and collect relics before they could do much more. Well at least it would be an easy way to ease themselves into the situation that they were just thrown in. It wasn't like they had to go track down the base of the guy controlling the guardians just yet, so that was a plus. As the full mission was being explained, screams sounded in the area, and Auburns head jolted up as she scanned the area, vaguely hearing what Qrow and Glynda were saying as her weapons were already out. It was reflex for her now to have her weapons at the first sign of danger. She scanned the area before spotting where the threat was coming from. She tuned back into those around her just in time to hear Qrow order the direction that they were to go in. Pushing herself against the wall she was leaning, Auburn was out the door and on the move towards where the Grimm were coming from. Uva managed to make it there first but Auburn didn't care too much as she watched the girl do a good number on the Ursa. They had to finish it off though. Lazuli took one swing at it but the beast barely seemed deterred by him. That wasn't a good sign. It was time for her to jump in. Dual blades in hand, Auburn skipped out on the ranged attack, and while the Ursa was distracted by the other two, ran closer, slashing once at it's leg to stumble it before turning and plunging her other sword into it's head to take it out completely. After that without a moment of hesitation she yanked her blades from it and turned to a Beowulf that was charging for her, moving out of the way and slashing it twice in the side and stabbing up at its underside. This unfortunately was not enough to kill the thing, but it did cause it to land off balance to the side instead of getting an instant attack on her. Auburn turned to face it, ready to finish it off, but her eyes darted around just in case another threat came. This grimm was injured enough it wasn't her first fear when it came to attacks. ╔════»Much to Arian's surprise and delight the other boy did indeed decide to join them, partaking in an ale alongside them as he gave some minimal details about who he was and where he was from. The boy was a little too boring for Arian's taste, but he managed to bite his tongue and keep himself from saying too much about that. He got Lloyd talking about where he was from, and in attempts to be included in the conversation, Arain piped up."Well I am from Menagerie. You know the place all faunus' are from.... well not all, just the ones that want to be accepted..... not that you don't necessarily not accept us here.... or at least you guys and where you are from outside the kindgoms but you know.... I will just stop talking now." Arian's ears went back as he looked down sipping on his ale. Did he ever mess that conversation up. Perhaps he just wasn't good at talking to people that weren't girls. »Just as he was starting to enjoy himself again, Qrow walked into the room... and started yelling at them, mostly him. Arian stood up and faced the old drunk. "You know you are welcome to join us if you want. It is on me." Arian invited as Qrow continued to threaten him. Arian cocked his head looking rather confused at the threat. "Fear and labor? I am not pregnant dude. I am not even a chick." He had to just point that out before he grudgingly left his ale and started to head back to his room. Qrow was clearly pissed and Arian knew that he couldn't push his luck much more with this guy, not today at least. Perhaps another day Arian would continue this little... game he had going, but that could wait. -------Time Skip------- »They next morning was a bit of a challenge to get out of bed, Arian certainly was not awake enough for it that day. They had been woken up and dragged down for more talking. Arian got himself ready and presentable anyways but took his time getting down there, not care if he was late. Once down in the lobby he listened to Glynda speak about the new members joining their teams. Great they got the boring guy, that was going to be interesting. Qrow then began giving them their missions, a mission that Arian believed was pointless. He had planned to say as much when shouting came. Grimm were in the city? Not a good sign. Their teams were split up and sent off in different directions to handle all the grim, and a slight smile crossed Arian's face. He didn't mind a little bit of a fight. It could be interesting after all. A good way to wake up. »Running towards the scene, Arian drew his bow while Aalis, Lloyd and Vice jumped into battle. Aalis had challenged something about not being able to take down more than she was able to and Arian scoffed. "And just what are you willing to bet on the wager. It better be something good, though winning is a prize of it's own." Arian called back as he drew his bow and fired an arrow right into the head of Beowulf, dropping it right away. He then split his bow into two swords and continued forward finishing off the Beowulf that Lloyd had been fighting. It wasn't kill stealing when help was requested. "That makes two!" Arian called out to Aalis. ════╝Arian HP: 15/15 Arrows: 2/3 Arian Kill Count: 2 Beowulves left: 6/10
Just a friendly reminder that lines are due tomorrow
╔════»As he ordered and waited for his drink, another student, Lazuli if he recalled correctly, walked up and questioned his choice. "Of course I want to do it. Why wouldn't I. My parents think if they keep throwing money at me I will eventually join them, may as well make good use of that money." Arian stated before getting his food and ale and turning back to the bar tender. "And one for my friend as well." He stated before striding away just in time to hear who the new guy was. "Hey Dubhan, go get a drink, or some food, it is on me after all. Then maybe tell us a little about yourself. Give us something interesting, I mean you can find out enough about us by just looking at us. For one thing, she is glowing and I am part wolf." Arian pointed out before looking at Lloyd. "He is boring and you can't tell much about him so you can make him share about himself if you want." Arian continued to ramble on some as he started to sip on his ale, rather happy about it. With Lloyd getting Lazuli off his back and Blaine joining them, Arian felt rather content about how this whole thing was going. "So what do you think those other boring people are doing right about now? Who would pass up the chance for free food after all?" Arian stated with a shrug. He had hoped everyone would take him up on his offer, but in the end it was their loss. ════╝
