I don't know why but the whole Giant Squid thing had always interested me. I mean, they had found dead ones before, but I was always awaiting the day for a live one to be captured, or photographed. So, yay, Cin, you have helped make one of my dreams come true. I would love to see other strange and unknown animals from the deep sea, as I'm sure there are so many. Oh, yeah, and that fisherman picture is fake... but I really don't think that this is a debatable matter...
I really do not see what gender has to do with one's qualifications as President. All that should matter is that person's views and experience. So man, woman, black, white, asian, hispanic, whatever it may be (except for monkey... we (USA) have one of those right now and that is not going well at all...) its fine my me. That person just needs to prove that she or her is able of handling the job. Anyways, there are women as government officials and they do just fine there. Nice topic, Roxas.

A clatter of commotion could be heard; a bang here, a whack there, and finally Vexen held in her hands a Roxas tracking device. She knew this would come in handy in more than just one instance. On the side of the device was a large, blue switch, which Vexen pushed. This was followed by a bright, white light that pointed from the tip of the device and straight ahead. She imagined that if she were to follow it from here to Roxas she would take quite a while to find him, so she opened multiple portals at once. The white light quickly pointed to one of the many portals. Vexen smiled. I've found you, Roxas!
yeah, In_The_Twilight, you are pretty... (i hope that doesnt sound weird since im a girl...) actually, there are quite a bit of good-looking people... anyways, this is a good thread because now i know what the person i am talking to looks like.
Vexen was frustrated. She had wandered all through that giant castle, in and out of rooms, up and down halls, everwhere, and she could not find Roxas. She needed to search for him. With her hands on her hips she puffed, wanting to give up this useless search. She looked down the hall, and then down the other way, shaking her head in defeat. Where is he? Just then, Vexen's hand rushed up and smacked her face. How could I forget?! She opened a portal and swiftly walked through it to her lab. When she had first returned, she had done an experiment on Roxas, taking his DNA. If she were to use that same DNA and quickly contrive a tracking device, she could find Roxas! She gathered some metals, wires, and other such paraphernalia, dragging them to her lab table. Next she made her way to extract Roxas's DNA.
OoC: Well, I suppose I'll start. ----------------------------- Light shone brightly through the glass window, illuminating the room and hitting the young sleeping woman's face. Her eyes fluttered slightly before she opened them completely. She looked around the room, taking it all in. It was a while before she realized where she was: Disney Castle. She rubbed her head as a memory of what had happened came back to her. She had been in that dark castle with all those other women, trapped in those cases. The memory of how she got there was blurry and she did not care to think about it. Belle got out of bed and found her clothes clean and folded on a nearby chair. She found the bathroom and showered, dressing afterwards. She quickly put her hair up in a ponytail and walked out of them room. Just as she did, two tiny chipmunks sped by, one with a black nose and the other with a red nose. "Excuse us," said the red-nosed one, giving her a wacky grin before continuing on his way. Belle was taken aback that the creature could speak, but so many strange things had happened recently that she did not linger on the subject. She walked down the hall in the directions that the two chipmunks had gone, hoping the find someone who would tell her what exactly was going on and why she was being kept here without being able to go home.
Walking through a portal outside of Roxas's room. She knocked anxiously and awaited a reply. After a few minutes, she opened the door and sneaked a look, finding a messy bed, clothes on the floor, but no Roxas. She portalled now to the center hall of Castle Oblivion, Vexen called out Roxas's name. She needed to find him quickly so that she would have enough time to look for a perfect dress. Just then, she stopped dead in her tracks. Why am I all of a sudden worried about such things? Dinner, cooking, dressing up... all for... Marluxia. Where her heart should have been she felt a pull. What is this? Do I feel something for him? Something real? I know I am cooking him dinner, but that was just as a friend. But could I like him more than that? She rubbed her head, trying to work those thoughts out of it. Now was not the time. She made her way through the castle, calling out Roxas's name. She hoped he was not out. ---------------------- OoC: Umm...PrincessofHeart, can I just say that that Stephen the Dancer video is... ummm... interestingly odd and creepy... yeeaahhh.

And about that pairing... now that i think of it, i quite like it , though where would that leave roxas. i think youd have to convince me that roxas and namine arent meant for each other first.... I've never seen this but I've seen comercials for it and it seems interesting. I think I'm going to have to go track it down and watch it now.
I only saw one or two of the episodes but I really liked this anime. It was funny and had a good plot (keep in mind that i've only seen two), and there was this one dramatic song I liked from it... but I forget it... Anyways, good anime! Thanx for reminding me of this one.
I can't believe that this anime (Cowboy Bebop) has not been mentioned. I think it is absolutely wonderful in terms of art, story, music, style, and character development. The movie was also amazing. What do you guys think? And jsut to name a few others that have not been mentioned: Trigun- fun and drama all in one. and the characters in this one are outrageous! Wolf's Rain- this is a beautful anime. its deep and not happy and light, so it may be unappealing to some, but i love it. Furi Kuri- ok.... this one is just way out there. it makes me laugh like crazy and the art is beautiful, so yay! Excel Saga- again, way out there. tons of fun and absolutely no order or plot... And I am only posting these next two because they are what got me into anime: Sailor Moon Tenchi Muyo Anyways, these are just a few that I think are worth mentioning. I know that I loved watching all of these.
I have never seen the anime, though I have seen some parts of it on YouTube and the art keeps close to the original manga. I have, or am reading the manga. It is beautiful. The art, since it is a CLAMP manga, is amazing, and the story/plot is interesting. Also, I love how characters from all their other works are incorporated in this one manga. Speaking of characters, all the characters, new and old, are well developed and fun to read about. So, I have no clue on the anime, but the manga is great!
I like what barfoot13 says. I never thought about him being reunited... I kinda missed that whole light thing. But that makes for an interesting twist. It kinda makes me wonder if the other org. members were reunited with their somebodies when they "died".

Vexen had come out successfully in her cooking endeavors, though she cheated and used a cook book. Sha had made fresh jasmine rice with honey glazed chicken. Using her artistic abilities, she adorned the plate with some flowers made out of tomato, rosemary, and plum. She had also made a sweet raspberry sauce. Dessert had not gone quite as planned so the young girl had to buy a cake. It had four different flavors: milk chocolate, vanilla, dark chocolate, and dulce de leche. As Vexen put the food away for later, her gaze made its way to a mirror, where she saw just how underdressed she was for the occasion. "I need... a dress." She sighed. Where would she find a dress? She still did not know all these womanly things. She sat down, thinking hard where she could indeed find what she needed. She scratched her head and frowned. Then she remembered that Roxas had known how to apply make-up, so she decidede to track him down in hopes that he may know just where she could find a perfect dress.
Vexen dragged the table across the floor of the garden, blowing hair out of her face. She set it in the middle of a circle of flowers, and in the middle of the table she set some fresh pink roses. She smelled them. Their sweet perfume filled her with a feeling of relaxation. This was going to be a special night. She opened a bag full of goods she had bought last night. She adorned the table and, once she thought that everything looked ready, she was off to cook. Yes, she was going to cook. This would be her first time, and she had the number for some take-out just in case. She wanted tonight to be a special night for Marluxia. He had been kind to her and she had broken his heart. She was going to make up for that.
