Maleficent informed Riku that he was the INTENDED keyblade wielder... and as far as the 'failed experiments' thing goes... why the hell would ANYONE keep THOUSANDS of 'failed experiments' lying around? Maybe the term 'mask' wasn't the best to use... what I meant was, to me the keychain has ALWAYS been less important than the blade... Why wouldn't it be? I mean, the ONLY reason we see Sora with different Keyblades is the keychains... they ALTER his blade... they DON'T give him new ones... Also, why would 'the most important part' of a keyblade be in the hands of common, or even villainous, people?

It seems to me that you can only play as all the OXIII in multiplayer, which seems like it doesn't have much to do with the story... Single player looks to me to be Roxas ONLY...
There is a formula but it varies from enemy to enemy... there's a BASE HP for every battle level and every enemy has a multiplier... put them together and you have the HP... Though some of them have really strange ones... Marluxia has a multiplier of 13.78 for example... and 3400 seems to be the maximum programmable HP in FMII...

Personally, I think that keychains are just 'masks' of sorts for keyblades, but yeah, it's pretty stupid to say that Keyblades are made by the keychains they have...

I think people are placing too much emphasis on the lack of keychains here... And as far as breaking goes, when metal gets frozen it gets REALLY brittle, so that doesn't mean anything... Have we ever seen anyone try to freeze a Keyblade elsewhere? No... and there's no way that was a normal Ice spell anyway...

Uhh... Master Xehanort's blade DOES have a keychain but the others don't... and since when does a Keyblade NEED a keychain anyway?
