I'm not so sure that that detail gives enough support to your theory, but I would love it if Axel came back. You never know with SE.
I have to say that if you consider the Kairi from KH1 and Namine, they would tie, but if you consider Kairi from KH2, then Namine definitely wins for me.:p
Vexen did not believe Roxas, but he dropped the matter. "Actually, would you mind if I joined you. I am a bit hungry." Vexen had not eaten since the day before and his stomach was growling. ---------------- OoC: Business, huh? I'm not sure that I can accept your apology.... You have a blue sash?
Vexen repeated himself. "I was wondering if there was anything particular on your mind. You seem to be in another realm at times and I was only conce..." Vexen stopped himself. Conerened? Was he just about to say conerned? But he had no heart so he could not feel concern. "I was simply curious." The scientist cleared his throat and hoped that the boy had not heard his previous slip. --------------------- OoC: I suppose we will have to leave off until you come back, huh Princessofhearts. Well, it was late anyways.
"Well, you see the neuron processes of you body would interfere with the gamma rays that the machine produces and the suit is specifically designed so that such a thing will not happen. If it did, not only would you grow a mutation, but the machine could explode, and I do not think either situation is pleasant." Vexen followed the boy, energized and eager to work out. He was always in the lab so he was not very physically fit. Vexen looked at Roxas, who seemed to be thinking about something. "Anything paricular on your mind?" the scientist asked.
"Not very long." Vexen went to the main computer and pushed some buttons. A red light flashed and Roxas yelped a bit as he felt a pinch on his chest. Then, the lights turned off, the currents stopped flowing, and Vexen walked back to the chair, helping Roxas out of it. "It was a simple DNA test. I can now study you with you not having to be present. It makes everything much easier." Vexen lead Roxas back to the changing room. When Roxas walked out, Vexen was busily working on his sutdies. Yet, when the scientist looked up, he felt like being active, something that was very odd for him. "Roxas, would you like to go on a walk around the castle, to see if we can find any of the others? Or maybe we could head to the gym? I've been locked up in here since my return and, although this is a first for me, I feel tired of it all." He looked to the boy, awaiting a reply.
Vexen's thoughts were pulled away from his work by Roxas's words. The scientist examined the boy. "I suppose you look alright. Now, please come with me." The pair walked towards an odd looking machine, having many waterfilled accomodations. In one was a heartless, in another a nobody, and in another a bird. Vexen pointed to a chair with many wires projecting from it. "Sit there and I will plug you up. You may feel some electrical currents but there will be no pain." Vexen carried on casually, even as Roxas became more disconforted.
"Good. Just follow me to the lab." Roxas had a hesitant look on his face, but he followed Vexen anyways. After a silent walk, Vexen opened his lab door, set down his coffee, and pointed to a room. "Just go in that room. There should be a uniform. Change into it and then we shall proceed with the tests." Vexen began to tinker with a complex looking machine, missing Roxas's bewildered look. ----------- OoC: Improvise because I have to go! But I will be back soon, I hope... Sorry!
I do hope that both come to us; they would make the story more complete and easier to understand!
Vexen examined Roxas and found no blue sash on him. He decided that Roxas was just as crazy as the rest of them. Still, Roxas's obvious emotions made Vexen think of a creature with a heart, and so he asked Roxas, "Would you consider taking part in my experiments? Vexen saw Roxas's cheeks turn red. So something was going on with the boy and the fiery one. Vexen did not understand these little games, for of all the Organization members, he was the one with the least trace of feeling, so he did not like, or love, not even in the way that the other members did. So to him the idea of coupling was absurd. "No. You are the first one I have seen since my return. I suppose I should be glad for the two," he said this with a non caring voice. "Whatever made you mention that fact?" He looked at Roxas and saw a glimmer in his eyes. The boy seems to care about this matter. Vexen's curiosity at Roxas's obvious display of emotion took over him and he felt a flutter in his chest, but he quickly ignored it. ------------- OoC: sorry its long...
"Hmmm." Vexen cleared his throat. He didn't know what to say to the boy. He sipped his still warm coffee and then finally spoke. "I suppose everyone has been well. How is the fiery one?" He was refering to Axel, whom Vexen was not very fond of.
Vexen nearly spilled his coffee at the sound of a small "Hey" uttered behind him. He turned around and saw Roxas, one of the few organization members he could tolerate. "Hello Roxas. I have not seen you in quite some time."
That is a really good question that I had not taken into consideration. I like the theory that the voice belonged to the keyblade itself. It definitely makes the keybalde more important and powerful and can make for an interesting plot twist in which the keybalde begins to take control over its weilder. I think that the voice should be considered because it could come back in KHIII and play a key role. I guess we will have to wait and see...
From the little that I know, thoes version do not usually come out in the US, as unfortunate as that is. I would love if they did, but I do not think they do. Still, I may be wrong so try to keep yourself updated on the Final Mix!;)
Vexen walked out of his lab. He'd been up all night studying the heart. Still, he was not tired. He was in need of some coffee, though, so he headed to the kitchen. He'd been absent for such a long time that he had forgotten where the kitchen was, so he began to walk around and search, each time remembering more of this castle, and remembering more where he needed to go to find the kitchen. He wondered how the organization members were. When he had last left they had all been acting crazy, but they were always like that so he doubted he find them any different. Vexen's character was much more calm, mature, and introverted, and he often felt embarassed when the more outgoing members talked to him so freely. Vexen was a man of few words and he was not very socially up to pace. So he avoided the other members. Especially Axel and Demyx, who were extremely extroverted. He did not mind Roxas too much, because he was much more calm. And Marluxia frightened him and caused gim to feel inferior, since she was the owner of Oblivion Castle. Vexen poured himself a hot cup of fresh coffee. He decided to walk around the castle so as to reintroduce himself to it. ------------------------------------- Sorry for the long post!!! The figure walked towards Castle Oblivion, a place he had not seen in ages. He was back. Where had be been before? That was his own business, and he wasn't about to share it with anyone, not even his fellow organization members. Vexen turned his head up, looking at the giant door. He sighed and pushed it open... Vexen wandered the halls of Castle Oblivion. He found the place empty, though he did not mind being alone; he was a stoic person and he never cared for the company of others, though he made an exception when it came to the members of the Organization. Vexen continued to walk, until he saw a familiar figure at the end of this hall; it was Roxas. Before Roxas has a chance to spot him, Vexen decides to go to his lab in the lower floors of the castle. He missed his research and he did not feel like seeing that boy today. It was his first day back and he did not want any social contact. -------------------------------------------- OoC: Done for now! Might be back later! I really like yout theories, though I do not agree with them. I do not think that the mysterious three are in fact Sora, Riku, and Kairi. Do not ask me why, I just do not think they are. As far as who those mysterious three could be... well, I have no idea. I think that I am going to have to sit down and really read up on all of Kingdom Hearts so that I can reach a guess. Your second theory I think is a little less plausible. I just think that it is too involved and out-of-nowhere. I do not see why other keybalders would suddenly appear, and then why some would turn evil and recruit fellow keybalders. I think the truth is much less involved but much more thought out and more related to the story of hearts and memories. Again, as far as a theory of my own, I do not have one. I do like your theories, though. I think I might be more easily swayed to believe the first one. My first thought was that the three were Sora, Riku, and Kairi. Still, I think that the important question is this: who is the owner of that silhouette that walks towards the screen at the finale of the secret ending? I can't wait to find out all the answers to this when KH3 comes out!
