Maybe if we put these in conjunction. What if Even experimented on Ven and turned him into the first Heartless under MX's orders? And the reason he wants to be "erased" is to keep the events of KH1 from happening, but they didn't have it in them to erase their best friend. Still, it's all speculation.

I think he's the original Heartless. In the trailer where he's first revealed, he splits from MX. And he has a dark suit, similar to Riku's when he was possessed by Xehanort's Heartless, which he got when he turned his heart to darkness, but kept his physical body. I'm just guessing that this was the first Heartless, specially designed by MX in an experiment to learn more about Kingdom Hearts. If I'm right(doubt it), then this could also be the "mistake" he wants Terra to correct.

Even then, Muffin Man was saying he looks like he's 26. Still makes sense with what we're given. I won't believe it until I see 100% proof, but I'm just trying to clarify why people are speculating this.
I'm not sure if Terra is Xehanort, but if you think about this with the information we're given. Terra is somewhere in his 20's. We can mostly all agree on that. 10 years later, KH1 took place. A couple years prior to that, Xehanort(Ansem's apprentice) disappeared. Nomura says that Xemnas is around 30. Now let's say that Xehanort disappeared maybe, 4 or 5 years prior to KH1. If you go by what we know, it seems PLAUSIBLE that Terra is Xehanort. But since we don't have any stone-cold proof, it's all merely speculation at this point. Nothing to do but wait for the game and find out then.
