Of course the whip had to wrap itself around the damn blade. Kiara grit her teeth as the man pulled at her whip, trying to make her fall forward. Lucky for her she managed to remain solid on her feet... At least at first. Kiara was about to yank her whip back, trying to disarm the army b*stard, when he stomped on the chain connecting him and her. As he did so, it sent Kiara stumbling forward. With no solid footing the man took advantage of it, throwing her at her teammate. Crashing into Arctus, Kiara tried her best not to seem embarrassed by the whole thing, how much she utterly failed. Not bothering to talk to the other man, she got to her feet again, fire in her eyes as she stared the man down. It would have been the most opportune time to attack, however Kiara was still organizing herself due to the fact being thrown off her feet, didn't only lose her balance and stance, but also jarred the whip from her hand. During the typical villian insults and monologues, the man pushed the girl he was holding towards Melus, but not without mentioning something about him being only one rank above her. While Kiara didn't know what that meant, she planned to find out. A weird tornado like thing started to surround the man and Kiara was ready to attack one last time, shooting a ball of fire at him, just as he promised not to tell her father that she was playing with fire. "Tell him what you want. Even if he does manage to find me, he won't survive it. I promise you that." She replied, even though her test for her keyblade told her differently, she was determined not to lose again, and she wouldn't deal with him alone. With that the man was gone and Kiara turned to the girl who was with Melus. She had some questions but she wasn't going to bring it up just yet. "Come we need to return to the old man. Keep the girl close until we get there." Kiara instructed before jerking her head to Arctus. "You, watch our backs, just in case he comes back. I will take lead. Everyone else, stay between us, stay close." Kiara relayed instructions like it was practiced, doing what she said she wouldn't do, and acting as an army commander would. She hated herself for it, but the man got her so worked up it was the one thing that she could fall back on. It was the only way she knew to go about this, and since her hands were shaking slightly, though she tried to hide it, she couldn't manage to think clear enough to do different. Though her eyes looked straight ahead with a determination, it seemed like there was something haunted behind them, like the meeting really shook her up a bit. At the very least she was thankful that he had never used her first name. It wasn't that it really mattered, but she would rather not cross that line with the whole explanation why she was lying about her name. She knew this group wouldn't show pity to her situation, she likely would bite their heads off if they did, but she didn't want to deal with their questioning or judgement. She had felt like she had been judged enough lately, if nothing more than by her own mind, that she didn't think she could handle any more.

With one down, it had left two very angry heartless left around her. Tinarah was trying to prepare herself for another attack when they both dove at her at once. Throwing her arms up, trying to protect herself, she braced for whatever pain was to come to her. She had shut her eyes tight and was looking away when she heard a thunk. Looking up a bit timidly, she had seen one heartless get knocked out of the way, however it then turned it's attention on the guard, almost knocking him off the boat. While her attention was on that one, the other one had gotten it's baring back and attacked her once, ramming into her side. That single attack caused Tinarah to cry out, tears forming in her eyes. If the one heartless could hurt so much then what if they had both.... Tinarah shut out the thought as she looked over at the man who had stopped that from happening. "Hold on. I am sorry." Tinarah said quietly as she tried to focus and remember the magic she had been taught not long before. "Cure." She said as she aimed her keyblade at the man and let a sort of green light wrap around him. Once she was curtain that her spell had gone off properly, she turned her attention to the heartless that threatened the man. While her side groaned in pain, she tried not to think about it as she had her keyblade at the ready. She charged after one of the two that remained, knocking it down. "Just one more. I can do this." She whispered to herself trying to keep the tears from her eyes as she looked at the final heartless. LVL: 3 HP: 7/20 AP: 2

Based on a debate on skype. Answer the question, is it good or not? Is it too Canadian for you?
It seemed like everyone was following his plan, good. They may have been stroking his ego by following his plan, but that was not the intent behind suggesting the superior plan. Cerdic actually, much to Alders surprise, cared about what happened to others. There were too many small enemies around to actually make it through and protect Mora. If they wanted a chance at protecting the girl, they needed to take out the big things and then escort her through the remaining heartless, protecting her as they went. Since the small heartless were easy enough to take on, he didn't worry about the escort part, just the big thing. As Alder aimed for it's legs, fire on his keyblade as he did it, Cerdic got ready. The moment the darkside fell to it's knees for a moment, courtesy of Alders attack, Cerdic stepped in. Starting with an upper cut, he aimed for the creatures head. He then jumped once more hitting the head three more times before he landed just as the darkside got up once more. "Do that one more time and I think we got this." He shouted back to where Alder and Chrono stood.
Auburn was readying herself for another attack, looking towards the people who were supposed to be on her team, making sure that she wouldn't hit any of them. with her next attacks or get in their way. She might not have been closely working with her team, since she didn't know them, but she was smart enough to know to watch on how not to get in their way. Auburn was about to make another attack when suddenly one of the fire guardians disappeared. Auburn was a little confused about what was going on. Before she could really sort it out a blast of fire shot out in several directions and hit her with enough force to knock her back. With that one hit she felt herself hit the ground and everything around her began spinning. She didn't remember backing out, but suddenly there was a hand helping her to her feet suddenly and Auburn was on her feet as people around her were yelling. It was all making her head spin more, but she was pointed in the direction of the helipads, and that was where she headed as she sheathed her weapons. Running as fast as she could, which wasn't that fast as she stumbled, head still spinning, she went for the helipads. Ahead of her she saw the leader of the other team and a couple other students. Auburn didn't take the time to look behind her to see who wasn't with them yet. She hated herself for it, but she was just focused on surviving, getting herself out. Sitting down in the helicopter, Auburn pushed herself against the far side and kept her head down while the leader of the other team started to yell. She cringed slightly, always hating the yelling, even if it wasn't directed at her. She played with her phone wondering if she should call her father. Wondering if anyone noticed how similar her fighting style was to a great hunter who had dropped of the face of the earth thirteen years ago, and started to show up again only a couple years ago. Wondered if anyone noticed that her weapons were nearly identical to his, only smaller. She wondered if any of these students heard stories of him, not as a legend but as a hero. He was certainly her hero and from what she knew he was decently well known. Whether anyone would draw connections however was still up in the air. Slowly Auburn's thumbs tapped on the keyboard as she started to type out a message to her father, detailing what had happened, questioning why he wasn't there. What was so important that he had left the school so fast and didn't stay long enough to help them. She still felt the pain from the burns that she received in that fight. A small part of her was as angry about it as Lloyd was, but she felt guilty for being angry. She couldn't bring herself to press the send button. She was scared that she was being too needy, or that it would give her dad a bad opinion of the school. By hitting that one button so much could go wrong. Perhaps he would want to know what was going on. Perhaps Ospin already contacted her father and was getting him to come help. Maybe sending this would just be redundant. So there it sat on her phone, not sent but not deleted either. ╔════»Things seemed to be going well so far as they fought the woman. Arian had gotten over his not wanting to hurt a girl and just went with the flow. Clearly she as a threat and if he was to ever prove himself to everyone that he was worth their time, then he would have to work harder to show that. It all started here as he drew his bow and shot another arrow. A moment later one of the copies merged back with the other. That would make their job easier to say the least. With only one target then with eight of them focusing their attacks on that one enemy, she should go down easily now. There was a bit of a smug grin on his face, but Arian's smugness came too soon. Suddenly a burst of fire flew in his direction and he was not able to completely block it as he was knocked out rather quickly. »Someone helped Arian to his feet, and Arian didn't question how that helped him regain consciousness. He just took the blessing as it came and didn't question Lloyd as he instructed everyone to run. It wasn't that it was necessary since they were already receiving instructions from someone in higher command, but he wasn't going to mention it. Arian took off running rather swiftly for just being up on his feet. Thanks to the wolf side of him it was a bit of a benefit for him to be able to run like that. While sometimes being a faunus caused a lot of troubles, there was also times it felt like a blessing. »Once he was on the helicopter he listened as Lloyd ranted. While he was right and had every reason to be angry, Arian made light of the situation."What is the big deal dude. We made it through it, and we get to be known as the heroes of the school. It is a win win situation in my opinion." It wasn't that Arian was stupid enough to actually believe that, it just made him feel better about the situation as she lounged back like nothing was wrong, eyeing the quiet girl for a moment before turning his attention back to Lloyd and their so called teacher. ════╝
Alex let out a bit of a low chuckle imaging how someone would manage to try and roast a dragon over a spit, inside a house. For him it was a funny mental picture but not something he would wish on any dragon. Alex had great respect for the dragon race and would never wish them harm, as long as they followed the laws of the society. If they didn't, well no one was above the law, not even a dragon. Alex forced himself to keep a set of high morals, and it wasn't because he wanted to make himself look good or anything, it was just easier to know where a line should be drawn when he did that. Sometimes when you took your beliefs loosely you let people get away with more than they should and it breeds bad habits. He didn't want to let that happen, so he kept himself in check by keeping higher than normal morals. As they circled around Hevnaar snarled something to himself that Alex didn't really understand, and he didn't try. Alex had learned by now not to pry, he used to all the time but he had learned by this point. As Hevnaar circled around again and banked so Alex had a better view he looked down to see a very pissed off dragon as well as an elf fighting it. "Well if that isn't an interesting sight. Didn't think an elf would care about dragons threatening towns that much." Alex contemplated before turning his attention to his massive dragon, though he was only slightly bigger than the dragon that was attacking the elf and the town. "Well should we go help?" Shaldendrea was a little hesitant as Rethenth pushed her towards his back. She really didn't want to go with him. She really didn't want to trust him or be his partner anymore, but she was trapped. She made the mistake of searching out this pact and now she was paying the price. Peering over her shoulder for a moment, Shale studied the smoke in the sky. She could notice the shadow of another dragon pass by not far from where she was, however it was more just because of the angle of the sun. From the sounds of things the flap of wings was coming from closer to the town. Was she just running from what she had done now? Would that giant dragon come looking for her? While Shale hated her life, her pact, she was still scared to die. With that thought on the mind she mounted Rethenth. "You know where we are headed right?" Rethenth said straight to her mind, for once speaking plainly for her to understand instead of her struggling to translate what he was saying with some of her own knowledge and a mix of magic. It often was difficult to understand Rethenth when he was angry. He often yelled at her in dragonic, not even realizing he was doing it. Of course out of instinct Shale felt the need to understand, so she used the magic she had to work out what he was saying. Most of the time she was better not doing that, save herself the hurt, but she did it anyways. "For this stone right? What is so special about it" Shale responded trying to understand why he wanted to do this so badly. She didn't really have a choice but follow along, but it helped to understand the goal. Maybe she could feel the need to actually be helpful, instead of forced into working towards this. That was unlikely but it was at least worth a try. "Correct, the stone is of great value and power. Perhaps I could even bend the dragon king to my will with it, just like I do with you. I will be the new king of dragons, and you are going to help me obtain it. Once I have that power, maybe I will give you a taste of freedom that you so desperately long for." He tried to tempt her. Rethenth knew deep down that she would never go for it and he had to push his thoughts on her like he did all the time, but maybe over time she would give in and let the idea be her comfort as she became the perfect partner. The elf side of her seemed to be rather stubborn and proud like elves tended to be. It was more difficult to break her than he thought, but he would work on it. She would be his perfect puppet one day. With that settled Rethenth took off away from the city towards the mountains where he hoped to find the stone.
Lucian let out an airy chuckle as the woman ordered her drinks. He eye'd her a moment as he sipped on his beer before stating "I don't suppose you plan to drink both of those yourself?" Part of him did want one, part of him was surprised she was going to start that heavy that early in the day. No one just had two shots and decided that they were done drinking. Lucian knew that he was supposed to be on duty and was treading on thin ice at the moment. If he was going to break the rules he figured he would do it slowly. If he got caught, then at least he could be clear headed enough to talk himself out of it. That being said he couldn't let this girl show him up. The small talk was... well annoying, but Lucian would oblige anyways. "It isn't too bad, don't wear it when I don't have to. You know official business and all that crap today. Hell I don't even wear this around the office half the time when I bother going in." Lucian said, shrugging off his coat, beneath he was actually just wearing the plain loose fitting grey shirt he had pulled out of his hiding spot around the side of the office that morning. His metal eye seemed to be focusing in on Kara. He couldn't actually see through his augment but it had it's purpose all the same, scanning area's taking in details like a camera that could then be uploaded to a data base if they ever needed to look back on something. The only issue was, that process was rather long and annoying and he wasn't able to do it himself, someone else had to help him, and the only people who knew how to do it happened to be a part of the constabulary. That meant any time they needed information they also had all the evidence of what he had done on his own time or while he was supposed to be at work and was not. "So what was the real reason for coming along with me?" Lucian pushed her again on the subject. No one simply just wanted to hang out with him, he knew that, he gave off the aura to leave him alone and most would pick up on that. Even if she didn't, it seemed an odd coincidence that the only time he was dealing with official business was the only time someone approached him. Perhaps he was off on that, but he didn't believe for one moment that she was just a scared girl wanting to find somewhere safe to grab lunch so decided to follow him for that reason.
There was a slight smirk on Lucians face. He didn't know why this girl was trying so hard, but hey free booze was free booze. "Sounds good to me." Lucian said without looking back at the girl. Free booze was good, but it wasn't going to get her in his pants or anything. Maybe if she proved to be a fun enough drinking companion he might consider a one off, but at this point he didn't care for one. Reaching the local pub he sat down at the bar, hailing the waitress. She gave him a skeptical look but walked away already well aware of what he would want. "You better catch her eye and order or else she won't bother. She knows what I want so doesn't usually ask." Lucian stated to Kara as the waitress came back over with a beer for him and looked at Kara to see if she would say anything.
Aaron contimplated the mans words. Something wasn't quite adding up. This man had plenty of chances to actually kill him, he wasn't well protected on the boat, and with the amount of people pointing weapons on him, he stood no chance, witcher or not. So the fact he was alive and chained up when people wanted him dead made Aaron wonder. "So if the person wants witchers dead, why am I alive? I mean it would have been easier to kill me when I was on the boat right? It wouldn't happen to be because you have a conscience is it? Beside if he wants a witcher, I don't know if I could classify me as a witcher. I mean while I was trained as one and survived the trials and all, it was originally said that a witcher was born in the shadow of fate. I however was born to nothing like that. I chose to be a witcher, I asked my sister to let me become one. That wasn't the shadow of fate, just a horrible father forcing my sister to go into a horrible job to support us while he ran off." Aaron didn't sound all that bitter about his past, just stating a fact that he ended up as a witcher through means that weren't considered normal, and he didn't classify under the idea of a wticher.
Tinarah didn't say anything as the man agreed to take her. She just nodded as he lead her towards the boat. Tinarah looked back at the others before taking a big breath and forcing herself to go away from them on her own. She would have to lean how to be her own person. Her hands trembled as she tried to hide them behind her violin case as she carried it onto the boat. Leaving the violin in the corner near where the man was steering from, Tinarah walked around, her keyblade in hand trying to clear her head, trying to calm her racing heart. This was all so much to do, going ahead without anyone she knew to fight heartless. She could hardly defend herself, what made her think she could do this? Tinarah was ready to turn and run away but once more forced herself to breath. The boat came to a stop in a rather pleasant area. With the waterfall and the forest and the gentle rock of the boat, Tinarah was almost feeling at ease, music drifting through her mind. There was nearly a smile on her face when suddenly Heartless appeared from the water to attack. Tinarah jumped a little and nearly tried to back away before remembering that she was trapped on a boat. "S-stay back. I-i-I will handle this.... I will try..." Tinarah tried to tell the man who brought her, clearly not the most confident in herself as she raised her keyblade and struck it with the keyblade a couple times. Upon the third hit the creature turned to vapour around her. "Right... I-I can do this. I will do this." She tried to coach herself on as she readied herself again. LVL: 3 HP: 20 AP: 2

Most Likely to be on Staff Last Year's Winner: Hero of Time, Kitty, Heart, and Boy Wonder Last Year's Runner-up: Hero of Time, Kitty, Heart, and Boy Wonder If all of the staff mysteriously simultaneously vanished one day, these members would be the most likely elected to take over. KH-Vids finds they'd be fine with Captain Arch, but they find Korosu to be pretty capable, too. Most Likely to End up in Prison Last Year's Winner: GhettoXemnas Last Year's Runner-up: Blaine, C, and Amaury These are the people in the squad you gotta watch out for from those police shenanigans. KH-Vids thinks that VermillionMoK, Trigger, & Jiku Neon would be put to trial first in the totally probably least racist trial ever. Yep. KH-Vids thinks Ghost would be the best cellmate to them. Most Likely to Never Hit Premium Last Year's Winner: Fearless Last Year's Runner-up: Plums These are the people who, if they ever get a pink username, you'll tell them all about that crazy dream on Skype while laughing hysterically. KH-Vids is convinced KHGrl15, Ghost, & Fearless will never become a rainbow bro, though Zelda is pretty set on staying where he is (he really is). Most Likely to be President Last Year's Winner: Boy Wonder Last Year's Runner-up: Kitty When you need something shot at, you ask a Republican. When you need something talked to death, you ask a Democrat. If you want something to be argued for eons, ask an Independent. And if you want your rent to go down, ask them why the rent's too damn high! But if you want something done, you ask Boy Wonder. Don't forget al215 for 2020, though! Most Missed Last Year's Winner: Ienzo Last Year's Runner-up: Jayn "H I MAKA ALBARN & ARS NOVA WE LOVE YOU PLEASE COME BACK????" KH-Vids misses Shuhbooty too! Most Nostalgic Last Year's Winner: Sara Last year's Runner-up: Plums These are the members who want to build a time machine and travel back to the good ole days, where KHV was white and blue, where the TV wasn't awful, and everyone was smackdab in the middle of their cringeworthy phases of middle school! KH-Vids thinks Krowley is prime to steal that time machine CERN's cooking up. Mish wants a blast from the past too. Most Obscure Tastes Last Year's Winner: Jiku Neon Last Year's Runner-up: Amaury When you talk to these people, you're pretty sure they have to be making at least some of these interests up. KH-Vids finds Amaury and his interests to be quite out of this world, though cstar & Beucefilous gives him a run for the money. Most Overrated Last Year's Winner: Makaze Last Year's Runner-up: Ars Nova An overrated member is more than one that always goes noticed -- they're one that gets the spotlight to the point where you can barely stand to see them post! Most Shocking Moment Last Year's Winner: Mass Resignation of Staff Last Year's Runner-up: Misty Retiring There are always quite a few startling moments that arise over the years spent on KHV. This year, the Toystory being in KH3 is the winner! Ghost doesn't explain what she's talking about, despite nobody understanding comes in second. Most Underrated Last Year's Winner: Judge Sunrose Last Year's Runner-up: Aelin Fireheart An underrated member is more than one that goes unnoticed -- they're one that deserves to be noticed, but if they were noticed it would take the charm out of noticing that they're unnoticed. I'm also noticing that this might be the first paragraph to abuse that word so much. Moving on, KHGrl15 was voted our most underrated member, followed by Makaze. Most Verbose Last Year's Winner: Makaze Last Year's Runner-up: Dr. Lux, StardustXtreme, and Ghost These guys talk a lot. cstar and sometimes Ghost need to calm down with all those words, man.
Aislinn got off her light cycle and exhaled in relief. She was shaking a little bit but then she found her footing again and could breath easier. "I am a little better now, thanks." She told Kel with half a smile trying to act normal even if her mind was going a million miles a minutes. However before the conversation could progress more Tron pointed out that Sark was leaving and they had to go after him. There was still a tremble in her hands a she looked to the rod the turned into her light cycle. "Okay, lets get this over with. One last time and I am never touching this thing again." She mumbled summoning the bike once more to go after Sark.
For a moment, Kiara's grip loosened on the handle for her whip blade as she stared at the man who had grabbed her whip as it wrapped around his hand. She couldn't believe his reflexes, and tolerance to pain as she gave the whip a bit of a tug. She couldn't help but burn more with rage as she watched him, how he acted, how he spoke. "I doesn't matter how long you have been fighting if you fight like a coward, hiding behind a young girl." Kiara retorted as her eyes flicked over to the girl. She had to get her out, and soon, any time she had a chance. He through her whip to the ground and Kiara just watched for a moment, trying to figure out how he disregarded he attack like it was nothing. It hurt inside slightly, hurt her pride thinking that she could do something and then being disregarded so easily. He then spoke up and her head jerked up to look the man straight in the eye. He commented on her last name and Kiara's fist was shaking. "I am nothing like that monster. Don't even try and compare me to him. He can burn in hell for all I care!" Kiara snapped at the man looking at him more closely. "You. I think I have seen you before, you would come to visit on occasion, but don't think I will give you the same courtesy of knowing who you are. I don't care enough. As I said, you military men are all the same and I will destroy you before you hurt anymore innocent girls just because they don't act how you want them to. Just because their skills aren't in the damn bedroom or kitchen. I will show you the kind of things us girls can do!" Kiara took up her whip again not hesitating before whipping it towards the man once more trying to do a little more damage to him if she could. she might not be making instant work but it was better than nothing.
