Dayla was almost happy that Teliana stayed behind to protect Alyse. Dayla had grown fond of the girl that worked for her and didn't care to see her getting any more hurt in all this. That being said, Teli leaving had prompted one of the Witchers to leave, followed by the other. Dayla couldn't help but roll her eyes a little bit as she scoffed under her breath, "cowards." Maybe too many years living under the radar, a tame life without any risk or danger involved was messing with her common sense. She knew this wasn't going to be safe. Knew that it could very well end in her death, but the thought of letting these raiders sack the city and being forced to find another city to live in didn't sit well with her, especially when she wasn't fond of cities to start. Plus with the Scoai'tael still likely after her, going outside the city didn't feel like a good move. It had been years yes, but elves didn't forget easily, and they certainly didn't forgive. Leaving with valuable information, she was still a liability that they would take any chance to get rid of. Death here was probably kinder than one if she was caught.

"So shall we go without? I am not too fond of sitting here waiting for them to ready themselves and come here to kill us." Dayla said as a passing comment like it was nothing, but in truth she was quite worried. She needed them to start moving so she could lose herself within her own mind when the fighting started. Sitting there thinking about those sorts of things was not going to help her at all. ​

Cerdic listened to what Mora had to say but kind of dismissed a lot of it as she was talking. "If I understood correctly the extractor thing-a-ma-bob is toast. Destroyed, Kaput. I don't think there is finishing its functions anytime soon. And I don't think that we want it to finish whatever horrible things it was doing." Cerdic stated, shuttering as he thought back to the memory and the pain. Mora did however speak of a place that Ria couldn't get them at. "Well I think we should go to that place, wherever it is. We need to find Chrys still, but having a safe home base might be a better starting point. Then if he is injured when we find him, at least we have somewhere to take him. I just hope we aren't too late." There had been too much death already, he wasn't ready for someone else to die. He might have pretended not to really care for anyone in the group that much, but he didn't exactly wish death on them. Making sure he had his keyblade in hand and at the ready, he turned to Mora. "Please, lead the way."​

She hated that look, the look of judging eyes as they assessed her every movement. Kiara groaned to herself silently cursing Lea for drawing so much attention to her. She didn't want to be leader and she hated the judging eyes on her, but as Melus continued to look her over eventually asking her questions, Kiara let out a long sigh. Part of her itched to correct everyone for mispronouncing her name, adding her little stutter to the beginning, but she didn't have the energy or patience to deal with that. She knew that if people questioned her correction she could easily snap at them, and with the new fire magic boiling under her skin, her explosion might be in a more literal sense than she intended.

Kiara listened as Melus asked about what her fighting style was, clarifying that she didn't want a fight. "Good I don't feel like fighting. But if I were to hit someone, they would be dead." Kiara stated dryly as her hand brushed over her new weapon, not something that lent herself to that fighting style. "Or at least that was how it was with my key- my old weapon, still trying this one out, but I am sure I can do some damage with it too." She stated rapping her hand around the weapon for the moment before forcing herself to relax. She could feel her hands getting warm and knew that she had to back down slightly.

"If you are ready, I am, but we should wait for the others to get a look at the map and be ready to go." Kiara stated, trying not to rush forward too much. She then looked back to Melus. "By the way, don't put too much weight on the promotion, the old man is just crazy is all." She stated hoping no one would expect too much from her, that honestly scared her the most. She recognized by this point that she was self destructive, she would rather not lead anyone else down that path while still figuring herself out. ​
