Oh, you're right, it looks like I misread the website. But hey, $5 a year is way cheaper than buying a 2nd DS to transfer Pokémon, and you also get all those extra boxes. Think of it like PS Plus on the PS4. You need it to play multiplayer, but it's cheap and you also get awesome bonuses out of it.

You don't have do that though, you can do that without paying the annual fee. Pokémon bank gives you a ****ton of extra box slots and the ability to transfer Pokémon from multiple different games. And they're stored on the cloud, not on your 3DS, or on your cartridge. So say your cartridge, or even your 3DS breaks. All your Pokémon are still safe. Also, the annual fee is only for the bank service, not for Poké Transporter. Poké Transporter is a free 3DS app that allows you to transport Pokémon from previous games. http://www.pokemonxy.com/en-us/strategy/

I recommend using dispart to create partitions. It's relatively simple to use and can boot off USB. Also don't worry about CDs, pretty much all GNU/Linux distros can boot from USB drives. Google "pen drive linux" for more info.

I would like to be a father. I rarely see kids that are truly well-mannered and genuinely nice. I think that when I am ready to be a father, which would be in my mid-20s at least, that I would be a pretty decent one. My parents did a pretty good job raising me and I love them both very much, so if I treat my kid(s) like they treated me, hopefully they will turn out alright. Sadly though there is a chance I could be sterile due to hormone difficulties, but I guess adoption is always a choice.
I'm not just opening all the chests for the trophy though, it's something I try to do in every KH game. I guess I'll try using a guide or something to find them.
