I've seen several trailers in which you can hear and see Sokka say "We've started a rebellion." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2x1FiP6i2dw At around 0:54 you hear him talk. He sounds somewhat similar. I also could have sworn I've seen a trailer of a TV spot where you can hear Katara yell "AANG!" or something. M. Night Shyamalan is a huge fan of the show, he wouldn't mess up the names like that. On terms of the races of the actors, I think they casted generally unknown actors (save Dev Patel) for a reason. I would think that they were looking for people who fit the description and could act. Perhaps they found kids who fit the description better, but couldn't act as well, so they went with the better actors. Personally, I would rather watch kids who can act even if they don't totally match the appearance of the character rather than a kid who matches the description but can't act as well.
In a frantic attempt to get rid of the monster, Nora ran and leaped off of the Darkside's leg and latched onto its hand with her front claws and clamped her jaws down as best she could. She already felt guilty for leaving the small shadows unchallenged, thinking of the possibility that they would attack civilians.
Nora felt she couldn't hold the smaller shadows off forever; the Darkside continued to summon more and more. She frantically looked for a spot to attack the monster. If she went for the legs, she'd get hit by another shadow orb for sure. The hands are what summon the insect-like shadows from the ground. She would attack when she got the chance. She continued fending off the hoard of insect-like shadows.
Nora was surrounded by the smaller shadows. She swiped at them with her claws, trying desperately to keep them away from the civilians. She yowled suddenly as she felt something hit her painfully on her shoulder. Looking up, she saw orbs of darkness raining down. She dodged them as best she could, her shoulder still throbbing with pain.
O :
The best Avatar character.
Nora stared at the Darkside, stunned. The shadowy creature was monstrous, and the heart-shaped hole in its chest was intriguingly powerful. "Crap," she said aloud under her breath. She made a mental note to beware of the energy energy being emitted from the "heart". Trying to come up with some kind of plan, she morphed, and stood in the shape of a jaguar. She lunged, with one thought running through her head: Here goes nothing. OOC: yay for random animal choice.
It's called the interwebs. You know, you could just stay home and have your freakin conference using your thousand dollar world-leader webcams instead of making a security mess of my goddamn city. Really, world leaders. Really. There are literally sh*t-flinging bandits running around because of you, I'm not even kidding. Actual human fecal matter has been thrown at people. No wonder they're spending a billion freakin dollars on security for a 36 hour event. /minirant
I would call it an in-betweequel. xD Toy Story 2. I love it more than the first one, to be honest. The first one kind of creeped me out, with all the demented and mutilated toys. >< Return of Jafar. I've never seen King of Thieves, but I might see if it's on youtube one day. Return of Jafar seemed just about up to par with the first one. Kinda. Forgive me when I say Lady and the Tramp 2. xD It's actually not that great, but I was in love with it when I was little.
I'm reading the classic "Treasure Island" by Robert Louis Stevenson for school. I want to like it but it's just way too detail-y. ;~; Also rereading the Order of the Phoenix. Just 'cause.
Chocolate cheesecake rapes all other kinds of cheesecake.
I suppose that depends on where you live. It's 8:30pm here. xD
Art thou on this lovely Saturday night? xD
Howdy. How are you? c:
If you're looking for a dragon-friendly movie, I would definitely recommend DragonHeart to you if you haven't seen it yet. 8D And I agree, the ending was probably one of the most moving scenes from an animated movie that I've ever seen. :')
Meh. Your mom doesn't have to know. XD Ask a friend to drive you. (: My best friend is really into that kind of stuff. I have many of the same Wiccan ideals of spirituality and such, but I'm not much into the actual practice of witchcraft.

Doctors estimate that he has saved more than 2 million babies since he started donating blood, and has donated almost 1000 times. Gives me hope. (':
