OK, so here is the plan. Go to college, get a communications degree, minor in Theater (be in as many plays as possible) and then go out East and get a nice job/ try out for broadway. if the acting doesnt work, atleast i have a degree. right? well...that was the plan till a local independant film maker wants to make a film in my home town. and he wants to show it off at film festivals... the problem... i leave for college, the guy seems like a jerk (kinda) and i would be expected to travel 5 hours back home every weekend to shoot my scenes... my gut is telling me no. im worried its gonna **** up my college experince, and i have a good feeling that this film isnt gonna happen fast enough...you know? it just seems like too short of a time line for me. so basically my question is... should i audition tommorow...or wait untill after college to trying being an actor? i dont know if i should take this chance... help?
