Cerdic kept slightly ahead of the group the entire way back towards the city. The moment he hit the area in which they split paths the last time, Cerdic hesitated, looking to the sky at the birds. The birds were evil, no matter what anyone else said, however from what he had read in the journal, though little was said on them, they couldn't be completely evil, they didn't sound like man eating birds at least, so that was a plus. Taking a deep breath, Cerdic continued his walk of anger down the road that had been where the others had gone down, his fists clenched beside him. Upon reaching the end of the path, they seemed to have entered a run down town sort of area, and straight ahead of him were more heartless. Within a heartbeat Cerdic's keyblade appeared in his hand. Before he had a chance to make a move against the heartless, a portal opened up and out stepped Ria. Cerdic ground his teeth while staring the person down just as they began to talk. Frankly he didn't want to hear any of the crap that they had to spew from their mouth, but it didn't seem like Ria was inclined to shut up any time soon. They kept spewing their nonsensical talk, speaking like they knew them or had some sort of plan. It drove Cerdic insane. His knuckles were quickly turning white as he clenched both his fists. He was in a bad mood and Ria was only making it worse. Half tuning them out Cerdic almost missed the reference to the comment of the other three, that was until Ria felt the need to explain it, summoning keyblades to their hands, which was quickly revealed to be Chloe and Xen's keyblades. "You bastard" He growled at Ria through clenched teeth now ready to fight. He might not have really known Xen or Chloe, but he wouldn't let this person get away with murder. And they passed it off like it was nothing, continuing to talk when it was only fueling the fire. "Yeah well I want something that this Aevum person took, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen any time soon either. Tough luck." Cerdic retorted taking a step forward, reading his keyblade, but something made him stop. Cerdic froze, his eyes wide and fear setting in on his fine features as he heard Chloe's voice. "W-what are you?" He asked, suddenly his normal nervousness washing over him again, as the anger that was drowning out all other emotions was replaced with confusion. He went as far as to step away from Ria staring at them shocked. "What are you?!" He demanded a second time with a little more force behind his words that time.
I shall claim my usual 11-12 slot
Taking a step back to relax, Aislinn decided to take a more simple approach when it came to her attack. She needed a moment to breath, so instead of going for a full on assault with everything she had, she chose to conserve her energy. Moving towards the Fire Lord she jumped up after the creature and hit it several times, one after another before landing and preparing for another attack. Aislinn attacked (air combo) on Fire Lord
It seemed like some of the magic was just barely tickling the monsters. While that was slightly disheartening, at least it was in the end doing something. For now Aislinn would just worry about herself, her attacks, trying to take down the creatures as fast as she could with the arsenal of moves she had. She might have tired herself slightly in the process of Zantetsuken, but not enough to stop her as she moved towards another move. This time she opted for something not as well practiced, but if she got it right, could hurt quite a bit. Aislinn started forward a little bit, focusing on the Blizzard lord as she started a crossing pattern as she struck the thing. Aislinn used Cross Slash
It was a good start that they had against the monsters. At the very least they were making moves in the right direction when it came to harming the creatures. It was far from over though and Aislinn didn't plan to treat it like it was. She had to go in hard and see how fast they could take out these creatures. Might have been able to take a hit or two, but she didn't know about the others, she hadn't fought alongside them enough to know how much they could withstand when it came to taking a few hits. That was why she would have to do her part in taking them out as fast as she could. Aislinn slowed her movements in a waiting calm for a moment before she launched herself at a movement, one fast enough it was hard to see properly. One strike connecting with both targets, that was what she did. It was a move practiced for many years to perfect with the help of her teacher, and while it left her out of breath, she hoped she was able to do some help. Aislinn used Zantetsuken
Marley had thankfully come to his rescue, sounding none to please. As Cerdic got to his feet Daeni tried to dust him off but he smacked her hand away. "Don't touch me." He growled at her. Part of it was simple annoyance at the girl, while the other part was he was paranoid she would try to slip the journal from his pocket when he wasn't paying attention, and there was no way in hell he would risk it falling into the wrong hands, and after this little act of betrayal in Cerdics mind, he wasn't sure how much he trusted these people. Pushing past Chrys, Cerdic left the graveyard, but not before pausing for half a moment to address Marley. "Perhaps if you just tell me your gender I wouldn't call you that, but as it stands I can't figure the damn thing out. I can't figure any of this out." That fact clearly seemed to be one of the major things bothering Cerdic at the moment as he stormed ahead, but never too far ahead, not when the forest was creepy and he didn't know what would come to greet him. Normally he wouldn't go first at all, but at this point he just wanted to leave the graveyard and at the pace things were going that wasn't going to happen any time soon if he just stood around there.
Reaching the creatures, Aislinn spotted another unsettling sight. Looking ahead she saw Esmeralda tied up over a pyre. They were going to burn her alive! Aislinn started to run ahead to help her, but Quasimodo was one step ahead of her grabbing Esmeralda and bringing her to safety. There was a soft smile, but Aislinn's attention then turned to Frollo as he spoke out. Part of Aislinn wanted to reply but there was really bigger things to deal with. "You will get your judgement in time." She mumbled to herself, turning to look at her partner, surveying him for damage. "Seems like the monsters got into this world to, and I am not just talking about the freak at the top of the tower. What do you say we work together this time to take them out, protect the people?" Aislinn asked with a bit of a smile on her face. Turning to the monsters she let a tune fill her mind like she always did, and began humming it. For a moment she went still, her eyes closed. As the tune she was humming picked up pace, so did she. Throwing herself into the battle Aislinn ran forward a few steps then launched herself off the ground towards the Fire Lord. As she drew near she brought her keyblade into position and slashed up at it, pushing the already airborne enemy further into the air. She repeated this step again before twisting around a little bit and bringing the keyblade down on top of the creature. As it smashed to the ground, she wasn't far behind, landing on her own two feet before bounding back a couple steps to make sure she could get her balance back properly. Aislinn used Aerial Slam on the Fire Lord
Tinarah stuck close to Chrono, her keyblade still in hand. She let Chrono carry her violin for her, since they were in a bit of a hurry to get away from the man who had threatened them. There was no time to debate who held it. As they cleared the mansion, the ground began to shake and the mansion collapse, and Tinarah found herself stopping. She was terrified of the man inside, terrified that he was going to hurt her again. For a moment she found herself rolling up the same sleeve that held her keyblade and looking at the scars that marred it, but then she looked at the keyblade, and thought of everything Choma, and Chrono had taught her about strength. She glanced at her brother then back at the mansion. She couldn't do it. He was hurt. She knew what it was like to be hurt and cornered. Maybe he acted out that way because he was scared. She could help that couldn't she? She had to at least try. "We can't leave him! Find Master Choma so we can get proper help. I am going to help him." Tinarah turned around and looked at the crumbling mansion that they had just fled from. The earth shook and the mans last words to them still rung in her ears, but she wasn't going to leave someone in need. She could defend herself now. She wasn't completely helpless, Choma had taught her how to defend herself to at least some extent. There training might have been short but she was still trained to some extent. Keyblade in hand she found herself stumbling a little as she reached back towards the manner. "Come with us!" She called out hoping the man was still there to hear her. "We can help you. I will patch up your wounds but you can't stay here. Don't be afraid, we won't hurt you." She said tried to assure him as she held out a free hand to him to help. She swallowed as another piece of the mansion crumbled behind him. "I can help you get out of here. It won't be safe if the walls around the property start falling too. Let me help you." She said softly to him, clearly a little nervous as she inched her way closer to him, hoping that he wouldn't attack her. She was just trying to be nice. Her blue eyes were soft, pleading even, asking him to let her help him out of the mess they were in.
╔════» Arian seemed to have been lost in his own world when another boy approached him, handing him the Lien note that he had just dropped on the ground. Arian turned to the boy and studied him for a moment, deciding if he would like him or not. After a moment, he decided that the blue haired boy looked cool enough for the most part. Arian smiled at the boy laughing some before slinging an arm over his shoulder in a rather casual manner. "Keep it, it was wrinkled anyways. But hey, since I am doing you this favour, do you mind doing me one?" Arian tried to slide into the fact that he needed help as casual as possible, and make it sound more like he was doing a favour for this boy instead of it being the other way around. Arian really didn't care about the money, so he was losing nothing out of this, and he would get the information he needed. » "You wouldn't happen to know where the new students are supposed to go. It isn't that I am lost or anything. I graduated a few years ago, but my sister is new and I wanted to congratulate her on being here you see, but I fear things have changed since my time and I have no clue where to find her now." Arian tried to bluff, hoping the boy wouldn't catch on to the fact he was new and lost his letter. Perhaps he wouldn't run into the boy again after this and it would be fine, no harm done with the little lie of his.════╝
Great, just great. Now there was a keyblade pointed at his head too. What was these peoples problems. Daeni had a feeling? It was just a feeling? Who cared what was actually going on. Who cared about real feelings and emotions, it was all basted on a stupid hunch that he was now pinned by two people with a keyblade pointed at him. Of course Crystopher was no help at all with it, complaining about them arguing and wanting to move on. If Cerdic had a choice, he would move on, there was no question about that one. But of course he wasn't given that option. "Get off of me you brats. I will not give you the damn journal, but if you are so desperate to know about it, why don't you ask the he-she over there. I am sure you would love to hear all the crap that is on that page. Then maybe after you all read it, you will burn the damn thing. For now I want to find the others, find Aevum, and perhaps put the thing you are pointing at my head to good use. If you are willing to put an end to me over the book instead of doing the sensible thing, then go right ahead, perhaps my memories were wrong, perhaps Aevum didn't take our darkness, because you seemed to be soaking in it." Cerdic retaliated at Daeni, finally reaching final snapping point with her. It wasn't often that he got angry, but when he did, you didn't want to be near him. It was a disaster waiting to happen.
Graveyard As the team looked around the room for a way out, the door suddenly opened and Sid stood on the other side. "Quick there is an emergency. You must return to the DWMA right now. Look I am not one to keep you in the dark about things, that was not the kind of man I was, but we don't have time." Sid said with a sense of urgency. He didn't think the students would believe him that he wasn't bad yet, but he had to try. When he received a call from Stein and Stein actually sounded panicked about something, he knew there was major issues. "I am a former teacher at the dwma, Stein asked me to give you a lesson of sorts, but we have no time for that now. We must return." He encouraged again, stepping out of the doorway to let the kids out, all doors the rest of the way down were already unlocked for them to leave. At the DWMA "Come on Spirit pick up...." Stein mumbled to himself but there was still no answer as he put down his phone and turned to Lord Death. "It looks like no one can get in touch with Spirit or Malik right now. There were reports of a new looking student around the school recently but I looked into it, we have no one attending the school that fits that profile right now. I don't know for sure yet, but she might be responsible for setting off the wards in the school and the reason we can't get a hold of Malik and Spirit. We are calling the students back to the academy now for their own safety, then I will go out and look for them." Stein informed Lord Death. "This isn't good, isn't good at all. What am I without my death scythe? We need to bring Spirit and Malik back at all costs, but without Spirit how are you going to fight?" Lord Death asked Stein. Stein gave him a grim look as he twisted the screw in his head. "I will find a way." He told Lord Death before shoving his hands in his pocket and leaving the mirror room without another word. Exiting the school property Doctor Stein decided that he would rather start the preliminary search on his own for the missing teachers, however soon after he stepped off the property and into town, something strange happened to the school. It seemed to have been enclosed behind a barrier. Running back there Stein tried to pass through only to be given a bit of an electric shock and a force sent him flying back. Getting back up he then used his soul wave length to create a blast against the shield, but once again failed. There was a look of panic on his face for a moment as he turned back to town, spotting in the distance two students that he previously sent off on a mission but hadn't really left yet. Running up to them he stopped them. "Blake, Kuro, there is a change of plans. It seems that two of our teachers have gone missing and now there is some sort of force locking us and anyone else who is on a mission out of the school. If I had to guess though, it is likely being used to lock everyone inside. We have to find the others and discover who is behind this quick. They have Malik." There was a tone of more worry when he spoke of Malik. Malik was kind of like a son to him and he didn't want to lose him.
Aislinn is spending 700 munny on Brave warrior Total Money is now 11, 480 She will swap out Cura for Vorpal Blitz making her command slots Vorpal Blitz Aerial Slam Zantesuken Break Time With that I will now equip the Soldier job
Cerdic had barely reached entrance to the graveyard before a force slammed into him, causing him to fall forwards, demanding he give the book back. "Not a chance! Get off of me you little brat!" Cerdic snapped back, but instead of fighting Relli off, he was more focused on keeping the book in his coat tucked away from them. Crossing his arms in front of his chest, over the journal, Cerdic rolled onto his stomach to full on protect it. "You are not getting this damned thing. No one is, not until I get answers at least." Cerdic yelled back sounding more like a child whining than the grown man that he was supposed to be.
╔════» "Oh man, this is great. First day on the job... Well school. Same diff right? I would like to think so. Anyways off for the new adventure! Yeah!" Arian strolled down the main road of Beacon Academy, a smile spread across his face. His sliver wolf like ears twitched as he tried to hear what else was going on around him. Arian knew that faunus weren't normally very well accepted in most area's but he didn't care. Generally a little bit of money thrown their way and they would accept him. Rich was rich, and while Arian didn't want to use his money to make friends, he preferred to throw around a little money isn't of hiding and sneaking around. After all who didn't love wolves in the end. They might be scared of them at first but his bushy tail would eventually convince them otherwise. He would charm them over time. For now however he was just excited to see somewhere new. » Like a little lost puppy, it didn't take Arian long to veer from the main path, getting distracted and start darting from side to side looking at everything. "Wow this fountain is almost as nice as the one on my parents estate. I think I am going to like it here!" He stated circling around the fountain. He saw a rather pretty girl walk by him as he was examining the fountain and dipped the end of his tail in the water, flicking it at the girl. She merely cursed at him complaining about faunus' but Arian didn't looks his cocky smile. "She is totally into me." He told himself. » "Well I guess I should find where I need to go now..." He said looking straight ahead of him. "And where exactly was that again?" He then questioned. Quickly he searched his pockets for the papers that he received about the academy. "Crap, crap. Where are they? Come on don't tell me I lost them already!" He said searching every pocket before feeling a piece of paper on the inside of his pocket. "Ah there it is." He said wrapping his hand around the paper. Pulling it out however it was not what he thought. "Damn it, its just a hundred Lien note. That was not what I wanted." He complained tossing it over his shoulder before he kept on searching for the actual information he needed, not seeming to care that he just threw away money.════╝
Chrono had moved in front of her, but Tinarah still peaked out from behind him to stare at the man, or more the blood. He moved his hand away and she spotted the cut in his coat and became more concerned wondering now if it was more than just his hand that had been cut, but if his side was actually hurt. Slowly Tinarah placed down her violin, but kept her keyblade in hand just in case. Slowly she pushed out from behind Chrono, looking concerned as she took a step closer to the man. "We should stop the bleeding, before it can get infected. Maybe there is something here to help you." Tinarah suggested slowly. She was clearly trembling as she got a little closer to the man. She wasn't sure about approaching him, but she wanted to help. She knew what it was like to be in pain and didn't wish that on anyone else, not ever. She made it a couple steps forward before the man said something to Chrono and summoned a keyblade. It looked so... dark. Tinarah took one step back, looking between the man, Chrono, and the wound the man seemed to have. She wanted to help but now he seemed to be threatening them in some way. "Please you don't have to do this. Maybe we can help each other. If you are looking for something maybe Master Choma can help. He is really smart I am sure he would have some ideas." Tinarah insisted, but her pleas seemed to go unheard as he threatened them again. This time after he spoke the wind started to kick up and get loud as the area around fell even darker. She took another step back and bumped right into Chrono as she looked back up to see the keyblade pointed directly at them. He was ordering them to go, and she wasn't going to argue with that. There were tears in her eyes as she turned away from the man, clearly scared of him now, no longer worried about his injuries. "Where is moms violin. Chrono grab it. We can't leave it!" Tinarah insisted. She had after all put it down behind him when she was hiding and now it just behind him. She could see it to some extent but she also wasn't going to push past Chrono to get it. All she knew was they needed to leave before they got hurt, the exit was behind Chrono and thus he would have to go that way anyways, and Tinarah had no inclination to take lead when fleeing. She didn't trust herself not to get them lost.
Now now kids, don't fight. I am not fond of my waifu getting hurt or I will have to hurt you
Sitting in the corner Cerdic read through the journal. While he didn't really understand what was going on in the journal, the more he saw his name, the more annoyed he got. Cerdic began to mumble to himself about the things he was reading, about the birds with the yellow eyes. "Come on, come on, come on. There has to be something more useful in here. What the hell is going on?" Letting the anger get the better of him, Cerdic stopped really even trying to understand what was in the journal. To him it felt like a mad mans rambling. By the time he hit the last readable page, Cerdic had enough with it. He ripped out the page and crumpled it in his had. Shoving the journal in the pocket on the inside of his coat, he turned to the gate. The crumpled piece of paper held firm in his hand. Marley soon came up to him speaking in a tone that Cerdic found rather offensive. "If you want to know look yourself." Anger was more than evident in Cerdic's voice as he shoved the crumpled paper at Marley's chest, not caring if they grabbed it before he dropped the paper and pushed past Marley. "Lets just catch up to the others, and maybe murder someone in the process." Cerdic said dryly referring to Aevum as the person that he wanted to murder. He didn't even look back to see if the others were following him before heading to the gate with full intent on leaving the area.
~Time skippidy Skip again cause people need to be introduced.~It took a couple days to travel, a couple days in which Aeradel was starting to get rather sick of the company that she was keeping. She missed the days of just her and her siblings hiding out and looking out for each other. For the most part, Andrus didn't scout ahead like he was supposed to, instead choosing to stick close to Rayen. Rayen was never far from Aeradel and refused to talk with the other members of their party, even going as far as to whisper in Aeradel's ear so she could respond to things for her. Aeradel hated to bring them along with her when she knew that this mission could get dangerous. But with her was the only place that Aeradel knew was at least somewhat safe. They were being hunted. Even if Aeradel left them in a town with people who would take care of them, she would always wonder if the demons had found her siblings yet. She wouldn't have been able to do what she needed to do if she left her siblings behind. As it was reaching evening of the second day, the mountain village came into sight. "Here we are. Andrus go check for danger." Thankfully, he listened this time, taking off from Rayens shoulder and flying over the village, circling before returning to Rayen and nodding in Aeradel's direction. "Well it looks like we are clear." Aeradel told the others as she moved her hood up to obscure her face slightly as she walked into town. While she knew that she should trust this town, she still was cautious, and always kept in front of her sister. Most people in the town seemed weary of their presence there, but this was to be predicted from the mountain people. They tended not to be fond of outsiders. Once Aeradel was certain for herself that there were no demons or anyone out of the ordinary here, she pulled down her hood so people could see who they were. "Please be polite and do not, under any circumstances act hostile." Aeradel said under her breath to everyone with her before approaching the center of the settlement.

Ananta finally ran up and Aislinn signed a little bit at the help, but the help came a little late as the remaining few guards fled from them... or was it from the creature that she caught sight of out of the corner of her eye. Quasimodo soon pointed out the creature as well and Aislinn fully turned int he attention of it. "Don't worry we will protect them. Stay with the captain!" Aislinn told Quasimodo still worried about their injured friend. After making the demand she took off sprinting, disregarding any injuries that she had gotten during the battle. Perhaps it wasn't a good idea, but as long as people were in danger she was not going to stop. She could not risk more innocent lives. Aislinn so desperately wished that she could have gone after Esmeralda, but the need of the masses came first.
