Get earbuds. They're cheaper, I bought mine for a couple dollars at Walmart. Also, they have better sound.
"Oh." he said, scratching the back of his head. "So is that why you kept running away?"
OOC: Oh. BIC: He smiled and held her a little tighter, taking in the scent of her shampoo.
OOC: Dang! BIC: He was shocked at first, but then he lightly put his arms around her. "It's okay." he said. "I guess you know I was talking about you."
He was a little nervous. He didn't know if he should or not. Then, he took a big gulp and walked out, drying his eyes.
"I tried talking to her." he said. "But she keeps avoiding me, like she's scared. But I'm not a scary guy, just shy and nervous. She's really pretty, but seems like she could be really nice."
He blushed more and said "Girl troubles." He realized then that she must not know it was him.
He blushed, recognizing her voice. "What is it?" he asked.
He heard a voice and asked "Wh-who is it?"
He knew he wouldn't be able to hold off the tears much longer, so he ran into the mens room and sat against the wall, on the other side of which was the girl's room where Jessica was. He starting crying.
He clenched his fist, trying to hold back tears. Why is it that no girls like me? Lexi does, but she doesn't count since we were childhood friends and she's with Alaric anyways. But why can't I get a girl to like me?
"This is going to be more difficult than I thought." he muttered.
He sighed again and lay his head on the table, closing his eyes.
He sighed and sat down across from her.
"I don't think you're a hick." he said. "And nobody fits in on the first day. Just try and be yourself and you'll attract friends in no time."
"You sure?" he asked. "You seemed upset."
He bit his lip and got up, going over to her. "You okay?" he asked, trying to sound kind and concerned.
He sat up and stretched. He got his food and went back to his table. He saw Jessica, but thought it best to just leave her be right now.
