And possibly summoned her again? But I do tend to agree. If Neverland was kept as the same type of world (lots of powerful heartless), it would have been a great Valor/normal training spot. And I wouldn't mind flying, although we got the glide ability from Final form instead of neverland this time.
I personally liked KH2s story the best. It was, without a doubt, the deepest and most involved - what with the multiple visits to each world, the Organization, Roxas, etc. However, in all 3 games, I found Sora to be quite... naive and kinda stupid. Same with Donald and Goofy. Now, for all the new games coming out, BBS looks to have the best storyline (because I love history so much), and hopefully, the characters won't be so naive.
I am.... well, to put it bluntly, all my friends who play the game tell me that I am a god at making KH1 gummi ships. I made, I think, 8 different models, all really powerful, and paired them up to transform into one another. I usually used just a white color scheme (Star Trek influences, FTW), but I think that just made them cooler. Whenever my friends start new games, they ask me to build them ships. If I know how to upload pictures of them (and had the game with me here at college), I would.
You can only do it if you are a partner or if you made your account before they put in the limit. In any case, what does this say about their all-powerful and sacred copyright rules? Could this be a baby step back to sanity?
It's called the Descartes conundrum, I think. And it basically means what you said. It possibly also confirms us as a superior species because of our rational thought. I don't quite agree to that - several species on Earth can do many of the things we can: Chimps and Bonobos use tools and learn to do so as children from the mothers, dolphins can learn limited sign language and distinguish colors on command, etc etc. Give any of these species a couple million years (which they might not have), and they may equal or exceed us. Especially chimps, because necessity breeds invention and drives evolution.
I have lots of people who I might call friends - mostly people I know from class or Youtube, but really only one true friend. When I was a high school senior, I took the first archaeology class ever offered in NC. In it was this annoying little freshman who was as naive as I used to be - always thinking he would invent something or do something and get super rich. When I met him it was a fusion reactor. I bugged him about it for weeks, and god, we annoyed the crap out of each other! 3 years later, we talk almost daily, even though I am at Appalachian State and he is still in high school. We talk about almost everything - art, the futility of sports, movies, morality, ethics, religion, gaming... Just, everything. That is what I would consider a true friend. I know that, unless something really drastic happens, we will keep talking until we die. He's planning to go into game design now, and said that, if he possibly could, he would get me free copies of any of his games.
Well I can guarantee that if KH3 is put on the PS3 (as I personally think it should be, unless something better comes out before they start making it), you can count on facial expression to be a LOT better. Along with everything else... lol. But yea, I did notice that during a lot of the series that certain characters seemed to have... lacking facial espressions. Especially during the text-bubble scenes (but those are to be expected).
Ouch. I never really knew my great-grandparents, so you were lucky there. I had 2 grandfathers and my grandmother die within a year of each other, and my aunt is recovering (thankfully) from breast cancer. I would say some helpful words from my Christian background, but since I no longer follow the faith, and I didn't know your relatives, it probably wouldn't be helpful. I do believe, though, that you are supremely lucky to have known your great-relatives, so I guess you can remember the good times. I at least was spared seeing my grandfather (I was very close to him) for the few months he was alive after his stroke - he didn't even remember his own daughter (my mom). We live in NC, whereas he was in Wisconsin, so it wasn't really possible to see him, but my mom flew up there with my 2 brothers (I was away at college). They said it was heartbreaking. So, remember the good times. I would also recommend, if you are depressed, seeing a shrink about it. I did, when I was depressed a few years back, and it worked wonders. Also, try to find a hobby: something new, which you enjoy. I got into watching, and later editing, KH AMVs, and drawing in MS Paint (I' still pretty ****** at it). They both helped a lot.
That may be how life is at this moment, but people SHOULD learn to respect other people's beliefs or lack thereof. People REALLY need to learn how to be tolerant, and if I can get ONE person to believe THAT (they don't have to believe anything else I say, just be tolerant of others), then I will have fulfilled my purpose. Already been dealt with, but I was just using Christian beliefs as an example, because, as stated, they are the largest religion on earth by a long shot. Besides, I cannot think of any world religion that believes in the ACTUAL age of the Universe and humanity. Oh, and the traditional Egyptian religion had a much shorter timescale than Christianity, and ceased being a major world religion when the Romans conquered Egypt. Maybe I am wrong, and if I am, I would love to hear it, so I don't look stupid next time, but until it is proven to me, I stand by my statement. Now, if there is no more to be said, may we get on topic again?
Really? How about another dark day, just 8 years ago: 9/11? That was pretty dark. Or, oh, I dont know, going back in history a bit, the fact that, at one point, General Washington nearly LOST the Revolutionary War? Or the Civil War? Or Lincoln's assassination? The GREAT DEPRESSION?! There have been PLENTY of worse times for us and for the world. We are experiencing a hiccup that, IMO, is completely natural in a FREE economy, and only avoidable if we were a real, working communism (not Russian style - the ORIGINAL intent - all wealth shared, all business under everyone's communal control, etc etc), and actually may be healthy for the country by cutting out the deadweight and corrupt and leaving only those willing to work.
Usually a belief in God means science cannot be right in many areas (the age of the earth (several billion years vs 6000), the age of Humans (~6million years for the earliest ancestors vs 6000 years-6 days), the age of the universe (12 billion + years vs 6000 years), the accuracy of all age-dating techniques, etc etc), and thus, many religious people distrust science as a whole, even going so far as to block scientific advancement (stem cell research being one MAJOR issue for them). So while it =/= intelligence, his position is slightly more tolerant than many christians.
What glass? I see no glass. (clarification: I refuse to see in absolutes. Everything is relative. Things can always get better, and things can always get worse.)
I have seen it, but I always have to look away from the torture scenes, because I just can't stand senseless blood. I don't watch it for religion, but because it is beautifully done and acted. I also like the historical parts (Roman Empire, FTW). I can stand some blood, and medically-related gore, but not when it's just senseless.
It probably won't fail, barring some uber-terrorist-hacker attack of the millenium, but there is talk of IP Addresses running out. If everyone in the world had internet access, we would not have enough IPs for them, plus all the IPs that had been used in the past. There is a movement to increase the number of IPs with a new system, but it is picking up slowly, which means that once people are forced to use them (through lack of the standard IPs), they will be unable to access a large portion of the internet. I forget where I heard all this, but it was some major news site. I think maybe Foxnews.com.
I'm an atheist, and I don't believe in nothing. I believe in science and evidence. If I can measure it in some way, then I'll believe it.
You mean besides where I am now (USA)? I would say Egypt. I'm going for an archaeology degree, and one of my passions has been Egypt pretty much since I first heard of the Pyramids. I have a life goal of going there and living and working there for at least a couple of years, regardless of any terror activities that might happen (being so close to the middle east, and all).
I don't really get mad, even though I can put up a good act, but my brother... well, lets just say I've seen him throw a chair across the room when someone spawn-camped him on Socom (ps2). I have also heard him screaming and shouting at that game. So yeah, I don't, he does.
I didn't mean homosexual, I meant stupid and excessive. Gay has just become an all-over term to mean those types of things. And your tip won't stop them from claiming the main audio. Unfortunately.
What happens if it's overcast/rainy/snowing/night? Or what if the panels get damaged? It's not a paint job, there are physical panels that are attacked or build into the structure - if they get damaged, it would be pretty expensive.
The stars have no more power than the blades of grass you mow over. I refer you to your quote beneath: It is absolute nonsense to believe that billions of balls of burning gas so far away they look like points of light have any bearing on our lives. Might I remind you that this was a pseudoscientific religion developed in the Dark Ages, when people also thought they could turn iron into gold by mixing it with weird substances and blood sacrifices (yes, it actually happened)?
