Pixar was/is partners with Disney. They work with Disney in movie production. Disney bought Pixar I think about 5 years ago, which was after Finding Nemo was made, but even so they were both a part of it.
I think the only movies that Disney distributes and doesn't have any part in the production process are Studio Ghibli movies.

Either way, it counts to me. XD

I've watched a lot of the classics since I posted my old list, so I'll put my revised list. c:

    1. The Lion King (I know, how unoriginal of me, but I can't help it)
    2. Pocahontas (It has one of the best, clear messages of just about all Disney films. And the music is incredible)
    3. The Fox and the Hound (It makes me cry, like every single time I watch it.)
    4. The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Can you say haunting?)
    5. Finding Nemo (...It's just made of awesomeness)

I believe it is both, but not entirely in the same sense as you.

You ask a quantum physicist what created the universe, and they will say energy. Define energy: it has always existed, always will exist, cannot be created or destroyed. You ask a religious person what created the universe, and they will say God (according to many religions). Define God: He has always existed, always will exist, cannot be created or destroyed.
Don't go bothering me about how this isn't proof of anything. It's just food for thought.

I believe there is some kind of higher being. The easiest way to put it is I believe science and "God" don't contradict each other, but instead work together.

Approach him with your doublet all unbraced,
No hat upon your head, your stockings fouled,
Ungartered, and down-gyved to your ankle,
Pale as your shirt, your knees knocking each other,
And with a look so piteous in purport
As if you had been loosed out of Hell.

He could find you quite intriguing if accomplished correctly.

Just about all movies. I can't think of a single remake that I've liked more than the original. Although I don't think a "perfect" movie exists due to taste, remakes don't make them better.

It wasn't like "let's go kill zombies on Xbox lulz" kind of activities. They were associated with hunger or poverty somehow. The movies playing were Blood Diamond and Slumdog Millionaire, there was a mural being painted that the artsy students could participate in, there was a coin drive to raise more money for Haiti, among others.

What else would you do? o.O Having fun doesn't make you any less hungry, it's just something to do to socialize and pass the time. If you just sit watching tv or something you'd be more likely to want to eat not only because you're hungry but also because you're bored. The main point of not eating for the 30 hours is to experience such hunger and have empathy for those who wake up with it, live with it, fall asleep with it everyday.

There is no set date for when it takes place; it differs depending on what group you're doing it with. If your school hasn't participated yet you could bring it up with a teacher and see if they could organize it. (:

You have the power to fight hunger, poverty and injustice. When you participate in the Famine, you make a difference in the lives of children and communities around the world. It’s only 30 hours. You can show your friends, parents and people in your community that committing a bit of time or making a donation can change lives.

Participants collect donations, then go 30 hours without eating to experience hunger first-hand. During the Famine, your group will take part in a variety of activities – some of them small, some of them involving participants from across your country – to help you learn about hunger and to have fun while you do.

In 2010, the money you raise will help improve child nutrition, provide improved health care, and help put an end to child exploitation. As well, due to the to the recent earthquake that has struck Haiti, the money you raise will also go towards supporting the relief efforts that are needed in Haiti.

It's my third time participating in the 30 Hour Famine. It starts tomorrow at my school. Has anyone else participated in the 30 Hour Famine before?

I'm gonna be a hippie here and quote Gandhi: "An eye for an eye only makes the world blind." I strongly believe this.

There is a great difference between justice and revenge that it seems some tend to forget. Justice is a matter of ethics/morals, and sustaining society. Revenge almost always personal, and gets people nowhere. For example, when someone punches you, punching back doesn't solve anything at all. It only escalates the situation. When someone kills your mom, killing their mom doesn't bring your mom back, it's only brings you down to the other person's level.

My music teacher loves Baman and Piderman. Instead of telling us to get our instruments out, he'll be all like "want to make da band?" and we'll be all like "okay". ::L:
