BLECH PARENTS I would've said "I admire your commitment, but maybe you can finish it another time" or something like that
Same, I'm probably more agnostic than anything (though I've been looking at Eastern religions and fringe forms of paganism) but from everything I've observed I just can't rationalize the idea of a finite existence. Matter is never created or destroyed, right? Everything in this world, no matter its lifespan, is transubstantiated into another form as it expires. That must be true of consciousness. It is a form of energy—and if this evidence holds water, it is an organic part of the universe. So that energy must go somewhere.
Mm... I like the colors and the fire effect. I feel like the null space to the right isn't serving much purpose—I would go ahead and extend the fire to the right edge. You might also consider making the lower part of Eren's torso more visible under the flames, as right now it kinda looks like he just stops at the chest.
I should clarify, I don't resist the idea we can replicate our consciousness. I find it compatible with the idea of a universal spirit, because there is nothing we can create that does not become a part of that universe.
That's adorable. ; u;
Glad I parsed that before responding, because it doesn't necessarily support that view so much as allows for it. It allows for a lot of other things, including mine. Depression averted~
Hypothetically. We've yet to find out if there is in fact something inexorably unique about our consciousness that no invention of ours can imitate.
See I was too smart for my own good Even when I was little I started thinkin', "Wait, if Heaven is 'up' but 'up' is different for everybody on the planet... then... ???" And then I realized that we just equate it symbolically with the (traditionally) most venerable of cardinal directions and resolved that it's probably just another plane of existence or smth
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AHAH HA heh Hey, she used to drunkpost all the time And she draws us on occasion c:
These are the people that criticize us for "whining" about people being dicks The irony is smothering
DON'T YOU DISRESPECT ME, LITTLE MAN! Don't you derogate, or deride! You're in my world now, not your world... And I've got- I'm sry but Keith David singing a Disney song about a Baron Samedi look-alike is too many things I love too much
Because sometimes it's great to be fat
If it lasts longer than 4 hours, punch my current postcount into your phone
Eureka we figured out how to get Jube to tell the truth Just tell him it's Opposite Day
It's not always somebody's mistake. Dry states like that are just prone to fire this time of year. I really feel awful for anyone who loses their home in a fire, people just don't bounce back the way forests do.
Ahh I was waiting for a Mistypost u 3u Well said, and I could get behind either of these arguments. In fact it's most likely a mix of them. You know what's interesting though? There are a fair number of men who enjoy being objectified themselves, and women who enjoy doing so, both of whom can be quite vocal. Perhaps it's a simple bucking against trends, but I'd like to dig into the sociological and evolutionary aspects of that. The "dominatrix" is such a prominent romantic/sexual archetype... or is that another form of objectification? I dunno.
Ooh, a singer and illustrator, huh? Welcome aboard u 3u Or, well, back on board. May wanna give a staffie a heads-up about that old account and have it deleted, just in case.
Ah I see. And eh, y'know, double standards. I don't think the Disney worlds have a huge effect on the plot at large, but plot is not all that writing is regardless. 'Course I'm pretty sure I've said my piece on that a dozen times, and this isn't really the place.
