I'm not sure if i'm putting this in the right section or not, but i've got a few questions and concerns about DCA. Primarily, I just talked with a friend that was at the park not too long ago and he was telling me that they have a large amount of the park blocked off primarily surrounding buildings near Paradise Pier and that the lake has been drained. I did a bit more research into this and learned of all the goings on that Disney is doing to try and boost attendance and overall morale for DCA. My question is this: Should Disney tear down and basically wipe sections of the park from the map, or should the park be left alone. Discuss.
...I don't want to see this on the Wii, i won't lie. It's a game geared more for the 3 and 360, but i feel that this would be a game that our demographics have wanted for the wii so i'm torn. I won't play it for the wii, plus I'm sure their will be a good difference between the wii and 360 version.
I feel that with the rythmn and flow in this that you give a strong sense of sadness and betrayal. I can't help but think that there is something hidden beneath the edges of this poem, as though you are dealing with something worse than betrayal...broken heart or possible going for rape? Great poem Demi.
I believe that the Rebel Alliance would say yes. Just don't let Darth Renegade hear you.

That's a whole nother can of worms. But in any event, if the one impacted does or doesn't press charges (are their attempted molestation charges?) Styx did the right thing.
I would have done exactly the same thing, cept I would have let the parents know right off the bat or stayed with the person until she was fully ok. Their is a slight problem with your friend going apeshit on him. Does he know her, did he try and defend himself, because if not, he could file a police report and charge her with assault.
That is awesome. However, I wouldn't be playing that without the backing. I like my finger's thank you.

Welcome to winter. We have this annually, it happens between october and march. The white stuff isn't anthrax, it's snow. If it is yellow snow then back away slowly. If the snow is talking to you, then the snow is a dusting of cocaine. It sucks that the central us is getting crapped on by Mother Nature right now...but the storm's usually come from the other side of the rockies, trapping us in snow while you guys complain about global warming.
...am i in that category their Trixter?

dude, how do i get in on that south park group. And the Browns are better than your steelers.
I believe that the reason we are drawn to both books is not because of the realm of magic, but because of each authors background. Eragon was written by a 14 year old while JK Rowling wrote Harry Potter while she was living on the street (if memory serves, it was written on the back of napkins). Because the backgrounds and story of HOW the stories came about is so unique, I believe that is what originally grabbed peoples attention. Given a story element, I have to say that Harry Potter, allthough following a set story arc and branching off into a vast world of sub stories, combines elements and themes that have not fully been accepted in children/adolescent lit. Eragon, shows the struggle of a boy to find himself and to bring down the ruler....i'm blanking on the name. In my opinion, this is far to similar to star wars meets Lord of the Rings. The second book bored me up until the end and because of this, it took me close to a year to read it. Meanwhile, i've read all seven harry potter's multiple times because the story is more unique and I feel it is better written. Now i'm not bashing the kid for creating a story of this caliber at the age of 14. I give him mad props for doing it, but each book doesn't have the same following. If i can recall, the first book sold tons, while the second book and maybe even the third book have slipped. I think this is because people kind of expected the kid to be able to emulate his idea and go crazy with it, but I feel that people realized that the book was a cookie cut out that had very little of anything 'new'. I say new, i'm talking about something that we've not seen in the genre. So if we were basing this poll on the books, I will say that the Harry Potter series is far superior in my opinion. If we label it specifically on the character, I'm going with Harry Potter simply because most of us grew up reading these books. We relate with him as best we can and we've gone through some similar instances. (struggling with love, sports, being ostrasized by your family, death, feeling accepted, etc). We've also seen more books, thereby letting us learn more about Harry which would make him a more grounded and concrete character.
Originally, i intended to just user people's usernames as the characters, but then i realized that a few people in this mainly might get confused or the reader would try to remember who is who, that's why i left the Luke remain. It might happen occasionally, but it's not exactly a typo per say. BTW, i'm loving the reaction to the Role Players. More to come as soon as I get a free minute.
Cole shall be taken by me.
