On the contrary, there are many RPers that don't like 'the way it is'. And just to give you a hint, a lot of these unsatisfied RPers have been silent and have never posted once in the RP section because they've yet to find one that they want to join, for whatever reasons. The RP section, whether you like it or not, has many ways in which it can improve. That's essentially *all* that is happening here. People are trying to make it better.
The truth there is that if they want to have an RP that will 100% cater to their English level, they have to create one themselves. Like I said in another post, people have different requirements and expectations for their RPs, and if there is someone who doesn't meet that requirement (not just their level of English, but other things as well), they have every right to tell that person they can't join. The same thing can happen here. If someone doesn't have the English level (or even RP capability) requirement that someone wants, that person has the right to say no. Because in the end, you can set RP-wide standards for the RP forum (like one paragraph minimum per post), but everyone's going to have their own personal standards for their RP (no txt-talk), and no one can force them to change it--because *then* there's going to be problems. I'm sure no one will like it if their RP is suddenly out of their control and they can't decide for themselves what goes in it.
I'm sure there's *some* lee-way for spelling and grammar errors, but you can't forgive the txt-talk, or other forms of writing that is an purposeful deviation away from spelling. And I also understand that those who don't have English as a first language can find it difficult to RP, but it's also important to understand that if they want to do an RP in English, there is some expectation that they know how to write English decently enough to have a functional RP.
LOL JADE I'M RIGHT THERE WITH YOU. Haha, but in seriousness, the forum demographic will make this difficult to really get a large community of RPers that I feel you want to have, but I do agree that spelling words correctly (some grammar errors I think can be overlooked) is a good first step.
I don't play Maple Story but knew about this for a while. In any case, it's utter failure.
Just encouraging RPers to improve their spelling/grammar/RP'ing skills is good enough. How strict to be will depend on the RP starter themselves. It's up to the RP starter if they want you in their RP or not, and no one should be forced to let someone in their RP if they don't want you there. So all the nitty-gritty requirements that some RPers want should be handled in their own RP requirements.
Oh CoroCoro... *sad panda face*
Wow, an inappropriate gay slur, close-minded statement, and you totally missed the point of my post. You, my friend, are a complete failure.
Starting roster... wewt?
Finals deny me any such fun. I had a final last Sunday.
Crono? **** you, okay? My left leg is totally longer than that.
Lol, if he did, then I'll take back my entire previous post. However, judging by the line "KH is not gay, so stop making them"--it implies the definitive context, in my opinion. This is mostly because I doubt people 'purposely' make a crappy AMV, unless it's for comical reasons.
Unfortunately, this is one of the reasons why the rep system isn't working very well on this forum. The rep system--when used appropriately--is a good indicator of many things; but given the overall forum demographic of KHV, it's often abused and is greatly misrepresented in many aspects. Luckily, I'm fairly certain the derep didn't affect you too much--since thankfully the idiots who derep for stupid reasons have little rep to begin with.
What a way to start you off on the forums. Welcome to the forums. Now for the question: If you have a problem with homosexuality, that's your own problem, but don't push your beliefs onto others. I'm sure you wouldn't complain if you saw AMVs of pairings like Hayner x Kairi, or Riku x Olette, so obviously the real problem you have with these videos is not on how likely or unlikely they are, but because they're homosexual in nature.
Unfortunately, no. The game can only be played with English voice-overs (thus, the new scenes will be silent-subbed) when playing through the game. You can only view the cutscenes with Japanese voice-overs in Theatre Mode.
You'll know you have Japanese voice-overs unlocked if you can select it in the Theatre Mode. There will be some options in a red box at the top right of the screen, which you can change using the L and R buttons (not sure if it was 1 or 2). I forgot which side was Japanese, but essentially if you have those options, just turn on the Japanese before clicking the cutscene you want to hear.
OMG, I WANNA JOIN. Character: King Triton Age: 2000 Appearance: Bio: King Triton has grown sick and tired of ruling over his wretched underwater Kingdom. After marrying off his *adopted* daughter, Ariel, to the tight-speedo-panted Eric--who was also a wretched human, Triton finally decided to pursue his truth desire for love: with another man. He handed his leadership over to his trusted advisor, Sebastian, and set off the seas to find that one pectoral-prince who can truly make him happy. Am I in?
*facepalms*
Picture of that size was totally unnecessary. Image >> resize >> 640x480 please.
Yeah. Despite the emphasis in KH1 about maintaining the World Order by not meddling in other people's affairs (even King Triton saying this as well), it's obvious that this doesn't exclude that other worlds know about it. Leon and Yuffie obviously knew a lot, and they were from a different world than King Mickey--but were fairly acquainted with him. It's possible there are many people in lots of worlds who know of the Keyblade's existence.
