Lol, what's your point, dude. Just answer the question.

Anyway, I've only taken showers for the past... 15 years. I'm usually too busy to have a bath. Plus I prefer the feeling of the shower head pressure on my back.

I can't help but think you're only talking about Square-Enix XD. In any case, that's why FF isn't my favourite RPG series. Shadow Hearts and Suikoden are above FF in my hierarchy of RPGs.

And sure, both Shadow Hearts and Suikoden have a much smaller fanbase, so I'm not denying that perhaps a large part of the genre is dominated by Nomura and his assortment of characters that all look somewhat alike o.o

But to me, it looks like this 'emo/weeaboo plots with spikey haired protagonists' you speak of is a Square-Enix trademark, and should be addressed as such; (in other words), shouldn't we base this more as 'Square-Enix RPGs' rather than 'the very nature of RPGs'?

Then say the majority of the genre is like that, not 'the very nature of the genre'.

    lol, fine. <.<

You're twisting the topic around. Yamauchi made a generalization to the entirety of the people who play the RPG genre, and is the entire reason why I debated it in the first place. I don't care if he wanted to say a group of people like that 'exist', because frankly, there might be, but to take that heuristic and label the entire RPG community as such is stupid.
but it doesn't encompass it entirely.

Don't generalize the entire genre, please.

The story of an RPG has no correlation with the disposition of the player playing it.
Playing a game with a dark depressing storyline =/= Depressed/emo Player playing it.

Sure, generalizations exist, but are you saying you condone them? Because I sure don't. And no, I believe there is a *part* of the FPS community who might fall under that category you described, but I'm not ignorant enough to speak as if I know everyone in the genre. Don't generalize me, please. <.<

No, it's an enjoyable one, at least to me. Lonely is a state of mind, and playing by yourself isn't lonely if you're enjoying yourself and having fun.

    It's not a truth, it's an opinion.

Well, I'm not quite sure myself exactly what they want, but there are many ways to do it. The simplest would be to take a camera and take a picture of the TV before the match begins (possibly after too). The slightly more time-consuming way (which I probably *will* be doing for all my matches) is to record the entire match from start to finish, then afterward rip an image (or several) from the video itself for submission (if the conflict arises).

I've done several other online leagues in the past for older games like Worms Armageddon, and I've rarely had to submit pictures for verification on who won and who lost. For the most part, people are pretty good with the honour system in terms of conceding a defeat, especially when they know there are measures in place to make sure that it can be proved on who won at the end.
Sure, why not? Wouldn't hurt to try.

That would be a matter of opinion.

I thought Romeo and Juliet were idiots, for one. Their 'words' may have been passionate, but their relationship had no substance. Their relationship was self-destructive and ended up being the death of the both of them.

It's a matter of opinion, but I hardly consider what they had 'love'. More like delusion of grandeur if you ask me.
