In the language of Tourneyfag: BANNED.

Haha, it's a marvelous stage, however.

If they keep the exoskeleton of the IC's movesets (at least for the most part), I don't see how desyncing could be removed unless they purposely wanted to. Desyncing wouldn't be affected by the new airdodge physics since it only required the side/step dodge--which is still in Brawl. But because of the new speed and attack delays, naturally desyncing will probably need to be relearned in terms of timing and application.

Personally, I hope the buff on DI frames makes it harder (perhaps even impossible) for IC to chaingrab + desynced upsmash.

Awesome, and I wonder what the % completion of the game is at right now. Ahahaha.

But I must say, every screen so far seems to be from the same scene/event. One can wonder if the scene ends up being really short, or really long.

Well, I wouldn't be 100% sure on that. There was some aspect of 'roulette' in 64 and Melee classic, but I believe the character you were using was omitted from the lottery of chars that were randomly chosen for some of the stages.

EDIT: Actually, I have no idea anymore. lmao, it's been too long.

    It's not sharpen.

I'm fairly certain all he did was just adjust the contrast, and *maybe* brightness.

Nice nice, they're still very cool.

Just a small favour, could you provide me with the Pit sig without the numeric text? If you could, that'd be great. :3

    EDIT: Wait.. baby bowser? lmao.

Well, Brawl tourneys themed on the KHV community wouldn't be such a bad idea. Of course, this all depends on just how many smash bros players we have in this forum.

But personally, if there was enough enthusiasm, you could create KHV Brawl tourneys, and give out prizes that are forum-based to the winners.

And when I picture prizes, this really goes into things like getting hacks for the forum, like first place winner for the <name of tourney; year> will get a nice little shiny medal somewhere near their name (like under Location, or somewhere around there). Of course this might be too stressful on the forum to create, so in the end, even man-made sprite trophies will do that people can put in their sigs (although there's still that ominous sig character limit that might complicate things in the long run).

Other such prizes could be like, custom colours on their username to denote their win in a particular tourney.

Oh, the RPG hack I've seen a lot, where users have a display of what items they have, etc. Instead of items, these could be trophies handed out.

Small example of the item hack I'm referring too. Ignore the gil crap and stuff. XD

All those ribbons/sprites, just instead picture trophies or other symbolic sprites to denote wins or accomplishments.

By all means. XD You'd probably make a Pit one that I might end up wanting to use instead of the one I made.

I actually had the urge to do that. XD I might make some more near the end of the week, just I only had enough time to make a Pit one for myself since I have some studying to do for my midterm this Wednesday.

    Definitely. XD

I was planning to take up Pit (among a few others) as a main for Brawl, so I wanted to make a simplistic sig for him; I'd highly encourage anyone to make a Brawl sig with their main and wear it proudly. XD

I made it in CS2 and the text was already installed, but the text is called "Herculanum", so maybe it's on the net somewhere.

And lol, White_Rook. By design, I hope you mean just aesthetically (i.e. design your own costume), and that would probably be pretty nice. Character creation on the other hand.. lol, 99% certain that's not happening.

    @Darkandroid: D: You didn't spot the " ? It's 'mou sugu'. XD

Yeah, hopefully you have enough control to make specific visuals like text.

Brawl would resemble much of the map-making dynamic that I often saw in older online PC games like Worms Armageddon, with people engraving their names right onto the terrain.

While it'd be nice to import actual images (which one can hope might be possible, but probably won't happen) to add more theme to the maps (like a KH picture to help denote a KHV map), I'd be fine with text alone.

Yeah, from what the update said, I think you can send stages to your friends and these have no limit as to how many.

You can also send your stages to Nintendo, and I believe *those* are the ones that can sent to you once per day, and only one-time opportunity to save, I think? lol, I only read the update once.

    I actually like this idea.

Of course it only really works if you're playing with chivalrous-like people, XD, who are up for it. But that aside, I see some enjoyment in the entire King-of-the-Hill facade.

    Good god @ today's update.

The stages already seem fantastic, but I guess no one can complain about becoming bored with them--since now you can make your own.

This is one feature alone that will dramatically increase the replay value of this game--as if the nature of the game itself wasn't enough. First online, now this.
