The hilarity of it is the reason why I'd bother trying the character out.
This update fails so hard. But count me in for using this character at least once each time I play for sheer lulz.
Yeah, you're right. All heartfelt MSN convos should be stickied from now on. ;p
XD Why is this stickied?
My mains from each tier (this list is also ordered from best to worst): Primary - Fox [top tier] Secondary - Marth [high tier] Tertiary - Captain Falcon [middle tier] Quaternary - Young Link [low tier] - Game & Watch [bottom tier]
Newsflash, PS3 has been at 599 for a long time, and has been reduced to 499 until the 60GB models are all gone. And the PS3 sales will most likely go up during its 'golden year' in 2008. They have an awesome lineup for next year. Horribly ignorant thing to say. Blu-ray is still evolving to this day, and developers have yet to unlock more ways to make better use of it regarding how to program for it. Isn't it surprising that the PS3--which has been out and kicking a full year+ less than the 360--is terrifying close (if not already equal) to the Xbox graphically in such a short period of time? The 360 has been flying high for quite a while now; the PS3 is still a bird that's just hatched--and it's already right on the xbox's tail. And with the 2008 lineup, you better expect the sales to increase for Sony. Software sells a console, which Sony has a lot coming for them.
I don't think it's possible to encompass 'innocence' in a way that will suffice every possible situation; the term 'innocent' would have to be implied to a certain context, and in that sense, the decision whether a person is 'innocent' or not can be made. In wartimes, 'innocent' people would be those who don't wish to fight, but are killed as a result of collateral damage. The fact that these people never wanted to inflict pain on others in context of the war makes them 'innocent', and thus if killed would be considered to have been "innocent civilians/bystanders". Similarly, people are judged in court as to whether or not they are 'innocent' or 'guilty' of the crime being addressed. They could've stolen a chocolate bar from a convenient store when they were five, but still be capable of being 'innocent' in the murder of Mr. John Doe. It's impossible to really categorize innocence as a human quality or disposition. It's something we can only assess by individual situations. You're 'innocent' of this, but 'guilty' of that. It's not something perpetual that we can claim ourselves to be at every given moment of each and every day. So no, no one can really be truly innocent, but I think the means by which you're trying to define 'innocence' is a little too severe.
EDIT: I'm an idiot and obviously didn't see Saeru's post. I'll clarify with the staff as to what the proper action is to be taken regarding this offense. The original of this work can be found posted here: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/47462699/
Ahaha, now that you mention it.. I shall have to phone him about this... after he gets back from work.
Creativity Corner. =\
CFF. I really.. can't describe the feelings that run through me when I read his stuff.
I agree. Xaldin ftw.
Thanks for the KHIII: Revival fanart, SA. <3
How is this even a competition. DS wins. No question.
;p Thanks, but I know the majority of this forum hasn't seen my work. Hard to judge what you haven't seen. On that note, this is precisely why the two people I would've voted for are not on the list (TheOtherKeyblade and/or Jade Rhade) as their work hasn't been well publicized. Both of those girls are excellent writers and should've been able to sweep this poll by far.
I have no idea what you're trying to say with this. Lots of RPGs other than FF have received awards.
My point was to buy a PS3 for JRPGs, not buy it specifically for Final Fantasy. There are lots of people who don't hold FF as their favourite JRPG series. You should never advertise Square-Enix as the general whole for the JRPG spectrum. By the way, best is relative. They obviously make sales, but in terms of the integrity of an RPG, Final Fantasy has been outdone by may other series, in my opinion. It's just that Square-Enix has the funds to campaign for their titles far more than other RPGs and thus those other (possibly better games) go unnoticed by gamers. Shadow Hearts 1 & 2 were brilliant games (Pretty much my favourite RPG series) but they were quite enigmatic and went unnoticed by gamers for years. The fanbase still isn't very big for it.
Square Enix isn't the only JRPG developer out there, you know. <.< And besides, SE is going multi-platform with Last Remnant, so they're not 100% PS3 lovers.
Like already stated, it airs in Japan every Thursday evening. If you live in EST time zone, Dattebayo usually releases their subs anytime from 9pm-midnight the same day.
I'm appalled that I'm not on this list. *gag*
