Meh, I haven't kept up. I only have Mario Bros NES, Bomberman 94' (I think it was 94), and Elevator Action. Haven't made an effort to dl Star Fox 64 yet cause I still have my N64 that I play. XD
The line is "I will admit that it took tries to kill you", meaning he succeeded the second time (which is Marluxia's current attempt in chapter 16). It's important to note that Marluxia's talking as if everything is 'over' already, and that he's 'won', and thus mentioning his 'second attempt' at killing Sora has already taken place--and declaring that an 'overwhelming victory'. Thus, in terms of a personal quarrel that he had with Sora, this would be his second attempt to kill him, as he failed to do so in Chain of Memories. Nope. The reason Marluxia spoke in past tense was because he was declaring his already won victory, much how some villains will say "It was fun, my friend" before killing them off instead of saying "It is fun, my friend".
Then I'd have to take back everything I said about shower parties while listening to Vanilla Ice on boombox. Then I'd have to kill myself.
lol @ Seaking.
I agree with going for Premiere. Since becoming a Mac user, I've kinda evolved into Final Cut Pro, but Premiere was definitely a program of choice back in Windows days.
It does. At least that's what Reggie said worldwide at E3 this year.
Really? I don't recall the Gamecube having very serious piracy problems. At least, not on NA shores. Asia is a lost cause, though, so they don't count.
Aww... I want omiyage from DA. lol.
Nah, it's wiser to pick a secondary character that's somewhat different from your main. They don't have to be in different tiers, just a character deviant enough to change up the way you play and approach your opponent--that's the entire point of having secondarys after all.
Both. Both titles seem equally stunning; I just hope they don't fail me like FFXII did. If that happens, I have no idea what to think about the FF franchise anymore. lol.
It looks to be a face/hair recognition system--at least I'd hope it'd be. The accuracy in the hair is just too uncanny for it to be from a presetted list of choices.
Yeah, I saw the character they created in the likeness of Famitsu's Editor in Chief: Such accuracy made me drool; I was originally just impressed with the graphically sound gameplay, but this just makes me wait this game so much more. As for the trailer (now that I've given it a look), is it just me, or did Level 5 change the character graphic slightly? The protagonist's face isn't quite the same from what I remembered from the TGS'06 Shirokishi trailer. =\ Shame, I rather liked how he looked in the first one--even if this new revised one has more realism in the face.
I know that it's likely that they don't want to say anything yet because it's possible that they haven't worked out all the kinks yet, but they couldn't at least say "We're working on that to make it happen" instead of just smiling all-knowingly like baffoons. But it just seems impossible that the game wouldn't go online. Brawl was originally supposed to be a launch title for the Wii, but they obviously delayed that for a year. And for what? If it was going to be a launch title, the gameplay in itself should've been pretty much complete. I understand that delaying it could let them work out more additions such as characters, movesets, perhaps balance the tiers a bit since Melee suffered major drawbacks from an incredibly biased set of characters. But honestly, let's face it, it doesn't require an entire year + 1 month to get that figured out. Then by early 2007, we see that the gameplay is once again, pretty much completed and very little has changed overall. So honestly, I can't help but think that this massive delay until December (when rumours changed from a January release to March, then to June, then July, and now finally December) is because of the online gameplay that they're trying to figure out. If I get so much as a "No... this game won't feature online" at TGS, I'm going to sit there in my chair, pissed off. It'd be even worse if they still continued to keep their mouths shut on this matter up until late November.
I'm just waiting for them to confirm Marth =X. Luckily my main from Melee is still there, but man do I still need my Marth as my second. Wouldn't mind trying to find a new one in possibly Pitt, but yeah. They BETTER officially declare Brawl as an online title at TGS, or I'm going to be so mad--and scared.
Hmm... well, I was under the assumption of two things when I was writing that, and when I think about it, I admit it was probably something I should've mentioned somewhere in the narrative. I will admit that it *should've* caught Larxene's attention when she got stabbed with the Oblivion, and finally noticing that Ventus was wielding two Keyblades. I shall have to edit in an extra line or so in the chapter later. XD As for the overall reasons why they didn't say anything about it being Roxas: 1) It was inconceivable that Roxas could be this Armoured Knight, who seemed to look and possess power that was foreign. Roxas never unleashed his Keyblades on Marluxia until the end, but even after, it was too late for Marluxia to see just what had hit him. In this respect, Marluxia would never have guessed it was 'Roxas' who was beating the crap out of him. 2) I was writing under the assumption that Ventus' voice would be slightly altered when he has his helm on, mostly because the sound and resonance would be affected when he's trying to talk through the tinted crystal--which is why the Chasers had to communicate telepathetically when they were far distances away. Thus, his voice would've been unrecognizable to Marluxia and Larxene, and even Sora until Ventus removed his helm. Thanks for reading, Mustang/DarknessKingdom, =D, and thanks for spotting that. I'll admit it was a lot simpler to me when I was writing out that scene, but now I see that maybe it's quite a bit more complicated than I had thought. XDD
Glad that you seemed to enjoy it. ^^ Just to clear up any confusion, I know I did say that "I would be posting only up to Chapter 10 on these forums", the truth is that I've continued to post chapters here whenever I get them done. As my sig suggests, the fic is currently up to 16, all of which have been posted in this thread.
=X There's already been threads about Brawl here--and this doesn't really seem to open up a discussion about the title. smashbros.com The End.
Yeah, being of filipino descent, I was hearing about these new modding methods from relatives back home. I don't have a 360, but surely don't see a need to even attempt to mod my Wii seeing as I hardly buy any of their titles. Good on the PS3 for still hanging in there--should make sense with Blu-ray still just continuing to mature. But the day will eventually come when those BD-Rs will be used for ... something else.
And to think I turned on my PS3 just a few hours ago to get an update and was sadly greeted with none. I really don't wanna turn it back on. ... Tomorrow then.
That's why you run Windows XP alongside Mac OS X via Parallels for your video game needs. It's a complete victory.
