Well, it hasn't been proven that personality is genetic in nature at all, much how the talk of whether or not 'intelligence' was genetic blossomed throughout the 90s. Our current technology and research on genetic inheritance doesn't support any substantial evidence that we inherit traits from our parents other than physical features. Like most claims about human development, most are still just 'suggested correlations'.
