It's an old shoujo series meant for younger audiences. It was appealing when I watched it back when it was new, but like what I thought of Card Captor Sakura after giving it a second view a few years later--it definitely loses its flare.

It's quite vintage, though. It got me started on the whole fansubber-downloading scene.

There are more new confirmed characters if you check the daily updates on the smash bros site. Won't spoil the fun, though.

And thank god for an official release date. I had no doubt they would release it in 2007, just for goodness sakes give me a date--which they did. Now I shall visit my local EB to preorder said game.

We landed beside one another. And I am short.

And yes, that is definitely how my hair looked this morning.

@Mustang & eastercat: Actually, the photographer got it on our first try. We're all amazing like that

@K a i r i: Nope, we were originally supposed to just jump into each other--miraculously our poses were strikingly similar.

EDIT: Also, I think about it now--it would've been easier if we just jumped on the spot. In actuality, when that picture was taken, we were both several feet away and ran and were actually jumping into each other.

    Anyway, here's some solemn anti-climatic filler-killer.

If your warranty is already expired, you might has well go for the chip for the PS2.

I usually suggest non-soldered mods because it prolongs system life, but the PS2 has been out for a long time already, there are already many advanced chips in existence that have addressed these life-shortening problems.

But the warranty factor is definitely the main reason.

Well, PoT has been long since finished (including the OVA season) in Japan.

I really could care less about the American Dubbed market.

    Not surprised.

Independent blu-ray players dropped over here to $599CAD, so it came as no surprise that they'd drop the PS3 price to $549CAD to keep their lead over the price war.

    The Ctrl+Alt+Del x2 was a better prank.

The Alt+F4 is meant for chat-rooms or other real-time applications. Closing your window on a forum is hardly a loss.

Meh, sports anime isn't too bad if you're not looking for realism. I personally enjoyed Prince of Tennis despite the unbelievable shots they would pull off in that show. Suzuka was also primarily a sports anime, but it had a strong drama/romance base which gave more meaning to the story and characters in general.

In general, 100+ ep shows are pretty dangerous ground, and usually end up bad.

Surprisingly, I haven't liked a lot of what the comedy genre had to offer--at least, not the Comedy-heavy series. Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu was the only exception (I've never laughed so hard at any series).

    EDIT: Harem blows.

    Abortion!

Not only is that not necessary, it's illegal. You can't perform 'legal' abortions that late in the pregnancy.

Younger kids aren't even exposed to a large majority of what the people in office work for. Lots of these aspects don't even affect the child, which is a major reason why they naturally won't care or know anything about who's running and what their campaigns are all about.

It's to be expected that those who will vote with more knowledge of the situation are the people of the working population. They're the ones paying the damn taxes, not 14 year old kids.

Just so you know, that is actually considered spam. Even for the Spam Zone, I find this so tasteless, lol.

Anyway, I do have a Wii, haven't really added people though. And I don't know my Friend Code by heart so... yeah. lol.

Robots don't have emotions but they're quite efficient at what they're programmed to do.
Humans would basically become robotic, where they're 'programmed' from when they're embyros to fulfill a certain role until they die.

I'm not saying this is humanly possible to do--that is, program an embyro--but it is *possible* for humans to do tasks without being motivated if they're conditioned to do so.

And just to once again specify the context, yes there would have to be someone to this 'programming', but if we consider a single individual who has undergone this process, they *can* function and complete tasks without emotion until they die.

What's enjoyable doesn't equate with what's 'easy'. There is some merit that life can be 'easier' without emotions. It may not be what you're prefer, but it doesn't mean it can't be 'easier'. You're trying to place meaning on what it means to exist when the question is whether or not life would be easier to live (more specifically, we wouldn't have conflicts, wars, etc). These two things are completely different arguments.

The question is "Would life be easier", not "Is life worth living."
