LOL. That avie was god.
I remember similar merchandise of that sort. I wasn't sure whether to stare in awe at the sheer uberness of it, or laugh at the excessiveness of making them.
Great, more expansions. Chains of Promanthia is where I drew the line and quit. lol. Not sure what 'Arutana' would translate to in FFXI. "Antica" just doesn't fit, in my opinion. =\
It means you should post new chapters in the same thread, i.e. all chapters will be in the same thread--not post a new thread each time you complete a new chapter. If you need an example, feel free to click the link to my fic in my signature.
Please read the stickies. One thread per fic. Don't make new threads for chapters.
Aqua, Ven, and the ES we still don't know <.<;
Human: LOL ALICE: I'm glad you find this amusing. Human: I do ALICE: What can I do to entertain you now? Human: you can be naked ALICE: Thanks, unknown person, for your kind criticism. Human: strip for me ALICE: For you I will consider it. Ahaha. I was taking this seriously at first, until she said something ******ed. Then I went the full 180 and that's what happened.
The latter is at this time, is unheard of. There was talks of emulated titles for the PS3 in the future, but at this point in time, there's nothing of the sort. Swap Magic on the PS2 is the best way to go at this moment.
Yeah, sorry zexionXienzo6, but it's against the rules to post a new thread for each chapter of a story. Please read the stickies.
Oh my. =OO
If you watch Naruto, I'd like to see a Sharingan Sora, haha.
Only played up to Yellow. I remember randomly playing gold, and a bit of emerald, but I really couldn't bring myself to wholeheartedly play the game when the number exceeded 151. Although, it was fun naming my Jigglypuff "Your Mom". "Your Mom used Pound." "Your Mom is paralyzed." "Your Mom fainted." Other immature things of the like.
Yay, more PS3 titles for me. XD Thanks Xaldin.
Seeing as how it was written in Katakana to begin with, the English equivalent could be spelt in an assortment of ways (unless of course they provided an official English name for it as well, which I wouldn't know). It could be Tera, Terra, Tara, etc. I dunno, I'm impartial to a lot of names. Sora ends in an A, but not a lot of people I know complained. XD But I will admit I first heard the name Sora used on a girl. But oh well. Again, someone who understands and can translate the Ultimania can confirm this.
According the the Ultimania (I haven't read it, but there's this dude who apparently did and translated some of the info), the name of the ES (or the person associated with the Earth element) is none other than "Tera", coming from Terra for 'Earth'. Take that as you like. Someone who's read the Ultimania and who can translate can confirm if this is true or not.
At first I thought this was a blatant attack on the forum member, Alice. LOL.
Yeah. It's been mentioned before. XD Basically, Ven is still alive--at least at the end of Birth By Sleep.
What's funny is that Defense seems to hardly do anything in the battle. For me, there are three openings I tend to go for: The zoom-slashes that the ES does back and forth, he USUALLY will stop to land after three of them. So basically after guarding the third slash, immediately start dodge-rolling in his direction. You need to get used to knowing how close you need to be in order for your slide dash to kick in. For me, I usually only had to dodge-roll once to be close enough to catch him in my slide dash. However, dodge-rolling twice might be required--but I can't guarantee that you'll be able to hit him (as the window of opportunity might've been closed by then). Sometimes you'll be unlucky and won't be able to get near him in time, but that's definitely a popular opening during the first half of the battle. Second opening I use is the Death Sphere. Whenever he starts it up, and I'm within good distance, I'll go close enough to guard it so that it will repel into him. I wait for him to fall on the ground before starting my string of combos. The amount of times this opening occurs really depends on obviously how many times the ES feels like using it, and whether or not you're near him at the time he uses it. Third opening is the ES' shield combo. You can usually tell that he's going to use it if you see him running toward you. Because in all other instances, he will either fly toward you, take out a weapon, etc. So when you see him running toward you, he has NO other intention other than the shield combo. The shield combo (in case you don't know what I'm talking about) is that move where he'll land 1-2 punches, then a massive third smash with his shield and all these uber cool gear looking things pop out and destroy you (lol). For this move, just guard guard guard. If you guard the last hit of this combo, the ES will change his direction and hit the move off to the side. Voila, there's your opening, string him with combos. There's a fourth opening when he gets off his Keyblade surfboard/motorcycle/whatever. However, I don't bet everything on this opening because the amount of times the ES zooms by is more unpredictable (and sometimes he doesn't even try to hit you, tryin to psych you out), so it's harder to plan when to start dodge-rolling toward him. So you can try for this as well, but sometimes you'll get unlucky. Those are all the major openings I use during the first half of the battle. In the last half (Berserk half), the ES only has one major opening. Glide away from the first two waves (the first slash combo and the gear spiral combo thing). While he's doing the gear spiral one, continue gliding away as he can still move while doing it. Get used to the timing of how long these attacks last. When the gear-spiral attack is nearing its end, land on the ground and target him to face his direction. Then spam guard for his third and final wave and wait until the ES' attack speed increases momentarily (ex. there is a point where you guard ~3 attacks with one guard). This signals that the ES is going to attack ONE more time before breaking away. If you guard the last attack, the ES won't hit you and will zoom by. AS this is happening, be sure to lock onto him and start dodge-rolling his way. Be quick as the window of opportunity is shorter than ever. Continue this until the end. It's also good to note that if you plan to use a Drive form, like Final, use it AFTER you've started the string of combos on the ES.
Yeah, you pretty much have to avoid the first two waves of attacks. Once you get to the third, guard them like you said you were doing. There is a point in his third wave (if you're guarding) where the ES' attack speed increases momentarily (i.e. you block like ~3 attacks with one guard). When this happens, the ES is going to attack you ONE more time before he breaks off. This is usually a lightning fast slash--and usually it doesn't hit you at all if you guard it. You *need* to get close to him as soon as he finishes this attack. My suggestion is while you're guarding (i.e. the attack won't hit you and the ES will zoom by), lock-on him immediately and start dodge-rolling his way. If you're quick enough, you should be able to be within hitting range right as he lands on the ground. The window of opportunity to hit him is smaller than ever, but it's not impossible (obviously)
The influx of PSP games as of late as been tempting me to invest in one now.
