Good memories of Star Fox 64. The Gamecube titles couldn't live up to the 64 Star Fox, unfortunately. But I loved the series.

I'm still representing Fox on Smash Bros Melee. XD

The amount of Drive gauges, like someone mentioned before, is 2 higher than the level of your Form. (Ex. Valor Form's final level is 7, with 9 Drive Gauges).

The Drive Forms' maximum level increases with each new Drive Bar you gain (except in Final Mix+ they stay the same, despite having 2 more Drive bars).

If you don't have Final Form yet, you can't max any Drives to level 7 (final level). You can once you do.

Wow, Axel caught me off guard.

I literally got him down to 1HP on my first try in about a minute, then I was completely clueless about a Reaction Command? Cause no matter what I did he wouldn't die... then I eventually died. XDDD ****ing Axel.

    Edit:
Beat all except Xaldin and Xemnas now.

I was doing reruns of Roxas for Magic Boosts, and OMG, new Reaction Command--that I failed--Roxas took back his Keyblades for my failure.

    Sora and Roxas were back-to-back... and I failed ; ;

EDIT2: Done. Organization XIII Data Fights are complete.

Now to finish that Crown Puzzle Piece thing.

    *loves his Gold Crown*

EDIT3: Puzzles Complete. Secret Ending obtained.

Wow.. I found out you can exceed 100 in stats. Normal Sora has 101 STR now.. <.< and 101 Defense.

But I'll tell you straight up, 101 Defense means nothing against the ES. I think it's a fixed stat battle--cause I honestly saw no difference. As for Data fights, I saw a slight increase in dmg (although not quite what I feel 100 STR should've been doing to the Data fights) and 101 Defense also did absolutely nothing. LOL.

The stats seem to only kick for anything that isn't Data fights or the ES.

No, at the very end, they ask you if you want to save it. After that, you're brought back to the main menu.

I played conservatively as Normal Sora, it's really important to get at least two full runs of Berserk Charge on him, it drains easier 3-4 bars right off the bat, and if you're lucky you can catch him again soon after and deplete another 3-4 bars (the ES is indeed very helpless to Berserk Charge for a long time. That's how it went for me. Usually when he does his sword thrusting combo back and forth, I parry all his thrusts, then begin dodge-rolling toward him after the third. Although I have seen him chain up to 8 times, he has a very high tendency to stop after three. I can only catch up to him and hit him during that opportunity window by dodge rolling toward him as he lands after the third, and finally connect with Slide Dash.

Even in the event that he keeps going, Dodge Roll *SHOULD* be able to make the ES pass you by, and give you enough time to parry the follow up. This I was able to do.

Now that he's halfway, or somewhere past that, he unleashes his Dragoons (as I like to call it, being a Gundam fan) before finally going into his Berserk Mode (the skies darken). I mimic TheGoldCrow for this last half of the battle, just Gliding around until he does that Gear attack (that spiral attack thingy). Once I see that, I gain some distance, and face him. Once he disappears I begin spamming parry until I see him doing that final slash. Right before the final slash, I make sure to target him so I know his direction and immediately Dodge-roll (or quick Aerial Dodge to Glide if he's further away) and follow up with Slide Dash to catch him at his window of opportunity. Bash him up a bit (hopefully I have Berserk on for more damage) before he breaks out of it.

Rinse and repeat that, except for my guaranteed win, during the last 'Combo session' I Drove into Final and finished him off.

Yes he did in fact, do all three Locks (Command Lock, Magic Lock and Melee Lock) during the first half. For Command Lock, I simply Glide away as far as I can, my eyes glued to the menu as I wait for the Release command to pop up on the top (I don't go chasing after it). For Magic Lock, I continue my normal strategy of parrying and dodge-rolling after the third thrust; once you get him in a combo, you'll be out of the lock in no time. As for Melee Lock, this is the most time consuming but what I did was make sure I had Thundaga shortcutted somewhere. When I'm in Melee lock, I'll find an opening to spam my Thundaga in his face. Spamming it will eventually cause the ES to fly up in the air from the damage. While he's falling, use Ethers (or Elixirs, which are better) and rinse and repeat until you're out of the lock. You may not always get out of the lock in one combo confrontation, but definitely the second.

Now usually the ES starts his Death Sphere attacks when you're in any of the Locks.

VERY IMPORTANT DISCOVERY. YOU CAN DODGE-ROLL THE DEATH SPHERES!

Cause you all know that the Spheres are useless to deflect if the ES is too far away, and they're bothersome as they keep hovering around coming after you. You can intentionally make these disappear! Basically, run toward the Sphere, and RIGHT before it hits you, Dodge-Roll INTO THEM. The Sphere should explode, but you gain zero damage. The Sphere COMPLETELY disappears, and you won't have to worry about it until he casts it again. This is ESPECIALLY helpful when he's fired two Spheres and you have no MP to counter it. Just Dodge-Roll them and continue your strategy. I personally have always dodge-rolled them unless I was right in front of the ES when he starts up the skill. Only THEN will I parry them (Yes, I parry them, I don't use Reflectga) back at the ES.

Keep in mind that these are arbitrary if you can manage to get two lucky Berserk Charge sessions on the ES one right after the other, as the quicker you take his HP down, the less time he spends in that 'mode' and will automatically switch to his Berserk strategy.

He did, however, like I mentioned before, had me in a Command Lock right before going Berserk, so that was some bad luck that I was able to counter in time, but that's because I missed one opportunity and gave him an extra round to do what he saw fit. It's oh-so-important to never miss an opportunity.

How this somehow helps! I highly recommend Dodge-rolling the spheres when the ES is too far away. Don't bother trying to lure him into the spheres by Gliding around and forcing the spheres into him. It hardly ever works and you'll end up most often dead than succeeding.

Be aware that you can't get Final Form until you've at least seen the cutscene of Sora and Roxas fighting. Once you gain access to Memory Skyscraper (the area you end up after the cutscene finishes), you can gain Final Form randomly by driving into forms.

I also think it's a requirement that you go into drives IN actual battles, not in front of save points where there aren't any enemies spawning. You gotta drive when there are enemies around--this is because Final Form gets its queue from the same marker as Anti-Form--which only occurs in actual battles.

You have to beat the entire game once, and save it afterward, a "New Episode" should happen at Disney Castle.

Warp to the Hall of the Cornerstone and look at the huge *** portal in the wall.

Even on Proud Mode, this seemed to work on almost all the bosses I encountered... it's kinda cheap, and it worked for me, so maybe it'll work for you.

Set up your deck with consecutive Sonic Raids and quite simply, spam them over and over again. I find that the timing of the knockback and Sora's follow up are so in sync that the enemy is unable to use their cards to break you. This actually worked for so many Organization Members and Riku Replica it's actually ridiculous how Proud Mode let that slide.

I'm assuming this is Re:CoM since it's in the Final Mix+ subforum. If it is, I can assure you it's worked for me on Proud Mode. <.<

Have a high level (8 if possible) Hi-Potion at the end of your deck, so after you use all your cards, you'll be ready to use the Hi-Potion. After that, resume the Sonic Raid spam as usual. Two full decks of Sonic Raids was usually enough to take out any boss before Marluxia's 2nd form.

EDIT: This is only effective as a winning strategy if you have a very large deck and enough cards to have a large number of consecutive Sonic Raids without running out. I roughly recall being able to do 7-8 (give or take) Sonic Raids before having to use a Hi-Potion.

    YES YES YES YES!

ENIGMATIC SOLDIER IS DOWN FOR THE COUNT! WOO WOO WOO WOO!

Here is how the last four bars went:

He was doing his berserk slashes, I *JUST* broke out of his Command Lock (while he was in berserk, how crazy is that), but he managed to get me in his final combo (luckily I had Combo Live on).

I knew when his last move was coming so I made sure to Lock onto him right after and Aerial Recovery in his direction. I landed right in front of him with 1HP left and NO MP, I started up my Berserk Charge combo.

2 bars later, I'm thinking to myself: "He can break out of this, I *know* he can; he's done it many many times before". So I thought "I have 1HP left, if he breaks free, I'm dead." With Berserk, I had no finisher, and prolonging any further in my current condition, I felt would mean my doom. I was in a bind.

Then my eyes slowly wandered to my party: "O_O OH **** GOOFY AND DONALD ARE ALIVE!"

With two bars to go, I went Final Form, and unleashed my 3x Finish Pluses and ended that son of a b*tch's life!

    SILVER CROWN BABY!

    ... /endexcitement

And now for those Data fights.

You know, you're right. It was a rule that people shouldn't meddle in the affairs of other worlds.

However, my only justification for this is that witnessing a wedding in another world isn't really 'interfering' with the affairs of other worlds, rather, they've become spectators. In KH1, Donald reprimands Sora when he wanted to help Alice, because by helping her, he'd be disrupting the world order. Basically he'd be interrupting the natural flow of an event that would've otherwise not happened had he cut in. Donald's wedding is slightly different from this manner as despite the Disney character's audience it would've happened anyway.

I also just think Donald deserved some special treatment and was 'somehow' granted a special circumstance for his wedding. The Disney characters all returned back to their home worlds the following day. Having the knowledge that there are other worlds shouldn't be an issue; King Triton knew about the Keyblade and the fact that there are other worlds, so I'm sure it's fine that others know that as well.

On the topic of meddling, Leon sure seemed happy to have Sora 'meddle' in the affairs of Hollow Bastion in both KH games. XD, so I think the idea of 'meddling' in other worlds probably isn't as severe was it was portrayed initially in the game series.

But thanks, I know it's something rather odd to open up a fic with, given all that's happened, but it's not a focal part of the fic, so I hope you can overlook that. XD

Kanji isn't only nouns, but they also determine roots that define the context of a word. For example, a word that sounds the same could have different meanings depending on the kanji used at the beginning.

Hiragana and Katakana have no 'inherent' meanings on their own, and are treated as sounds; it's the kanji that adds meaning to a lot of these phrases.

    Rough translation

    First line:
EDIT: Oops, I realized that's not a spoken line.

    EDIT: "It's a book that [you] don't understand." -- it's a declarative. <.<

Maybe my eyesight's bad, I can't read that first kanji, but I'll take a good guess at it.

    Second Line
"It looks like its name is Absent Silhouette."

Those are basically the portal fights. If you can't access them now, you can access them later. Those are the re-fights for CoM Members.
