I'm assuming TheGoldCrow is only recording 'lucky' fights; i.e. ones where the ES doesn't use those techniques. But given the consistency of them in my battles, I'm really skeptical about why I don't see it once ever in his vids, and he has at least three sucessful vids on Youtube with him beating him, and not once did he get hit with one of those. And yeah, that's what I'm doing now. I've decided to gather boost ups and come back to it. If The ES doesn't wanna play fair (evil laugh), then I shall return the favour. I made sure to keep a separate save with my initial stats just in case I wanna try again. I did notice though that TheGoldCrow's STR is slightly higher than mine (his attacks seem to do slightly more damage than mine right now, I've compared them), so perhaps he used a little more Power Ups than I have. That shall change though. XD
You can use Ragnarok, Strike Raid, Sonic Raid, and Ars Arcanum as Limits. And yeah, Dodge Roll becomes a Growth Ability.
Like I mentioned two of my posts ago, there are three devastating techniques that the ES hasn't been using in ANY of TheGoldCrow's vids, I won't restate them in this post. But it's those three skills that is completely destroying my gameplay. And if anyone says "Well maybe he avoids them", don't, because avoiding them is *not* possible. I've tried. Both by Aerial Dodging, Dodge Rolling and even Reflectga'ing them. It doesn't work.
Like stated before, they could act this way out of learning, and out of habit. I'd go into the entire thing about Classical Conditioning (although in this case it would've already been an established conditioned response), but that'd take to long. The only reason I brought Roxas and Axel into discussion because unlike laughter, anger, etc, things like personal sorrow and perseverance are things that are not so readily learned. As well, even if Roxas and Axel by chance knew these from their original selves, it's quite another thing to implement such emotions to situations that are incredibly personal to themselves (the new scene with Axel and Roxas on the Twilight Tower is the greatest testament to their evolution as individual beings, albeit not whole ones).
After your second visit to Twilight Town.
Swap Magic doesn't do things like that. All it does is allow you to play backups and games that aren't native to your PS2's region (American PS2s can only read Region 1 discs NTSC, Japanese PS2 games are made in Region 2 NTSC).
Because you can't activate Limits without targeting an enemy.
Yeah, Wisdom Form should work. My setup was Wisdom Form + Rumbling Rose + Combo Minus + 2 Finish Pluses = 4 consecutive Finishers.
Yes, yes it is. <.< I just got around to mentioning my rant now because I spent hours last night trying to beat the ES and failed.
For Yen Sid's, you *need* to use Berserk Charge. What I did was spam Horizontal Slash (Square). The Mushroom will fly up high every so often, ~15, then ~35. When this happens, time its descent with your Circle, but only hit him once, then continue the square spam. I cannot stress out important it is to not slow down on the spam. Pressing it for so long can tire out your fingers, but the slower you are, the more likely it is for the Mushroom to slip out of your combo, and trust me, you don't have to be very slow for this to happen. A slight discrepancy in consistency will cost you. That and a bit of luck (if you can manage to get it into a wall) you'll buy the extra time you need to land those last few hits. I got 87 with this method. Beast's Castle... XD. I found for the first couple you could simply follow and Dodge Roll, after that, do a series of short-hops so you can go into Glide easily when the Mushroom starts pulling away. And always remember to re-target the Mushroom whenever you can. It's important to always have it in your sights.
You need Swap Magic. Please use the search function. This has been covered in many threads already.
My only criticism, although I admit he's skilled, is that the ES is *not* using all of his attacks. I'm pissed off at the ES because he keeps using three moves that TheGoldCrow just isn't getting in his videos: 1) Attack that disables your ability to use Magic (You have to HIT him to regain this ability) 2) Attack that disbales your ability to melee (You need to use magic or Summon to regain this ability) 3) Worst one: Attack that changes your battle menu to a roulette. Pick the WRONG one, you instantly die. The ES does these three CONSTANTLY to me, yet not once to TheGoldCrow, not in that vid, not in his vid where he beats the ES using Donald's Flare Force Limit. It's so ******ed I can't even begin to explain.
For me I usually miss a word altogether, or write a word in the wrong tense. <.< Or sometimes I write a period when I meant to write a comma, but what's even funnier is that despite that, I remember to capitalize the word after the period. LOL.
That's why it's in the Spam Zone? Like trying to tell a kid to stop jumping on the trampoline. The picture's funny, though. XD
Write a FAQ for the ES and Data fights. That should keep you occupied with something, and I'm sure many would benefit from them. XD
Yen Sid said that they pretend to have feelings, because they know how to use them and know what it's like to act and behave a certain way. And for the most part, that's probably true. However, I personally believe it's possible for Nobodies (of the Organization XIII level) to actually demonstrate emotions in a geniune manner. They may not be whole beings, but I'm sure they're still capable of being their own individual; the only thing that holds them back from doing so I don't know. But it's obvious that both Roxas and Axel have managed to realize this potential. It's also a good fact to note that Axel and Roxas seem to be the only Organization members who have actually shed tears over something: Roxas doing so vicariously from within Sora, and Axel in the new cutscene on the Twilight Tower. Tears are probably the greatest testament and proof of geniune emotion as tears aren't methodically developed and planned. They're created on impulse and for the most part as inexplainable. So yes, I think they have the capability to showcase true emotion, but it requires probably a lot more work and self-realization than normal whole beings.
You sure? I had 5 before fighting Saix.
XD Did you want/need to know? I only knew because Uta mentioned it once in one of his posts.
Damn right you better have. XD I don't get Nomura and his tendency to make KH final battles a quantity over quality thing.
It's called Hikari, the Japanese version of the KH1 theme. You can probably find it on Blue Laguna.
