Darky, I'm going to steal your Final Mix+! I'll track it down in the mail and redirect it!
=O *hides*
Criterion-related validity, however slight. It actually began with you going off-topic, but I'll admit I kept it going. Bottom line: KH3 will most likely be using White Engine, which requires PS3 technology.
...
No clue, but I wouldn't care if it did absolutely nothing to Sora's stats, I just want that damn crown! XD
Curiosity. I have little, unprovable conjectures about shipping priority. XD *goes to check shipping status again*
I think the one thing that might bug me the most is the entire "Crown is a different colour depending on the method you use to obtain it". I want the most lustrous, gold Crown they got. XD
Okay, I officially hate you. XD Although I pre-ordered mine the 20th. .. It's only noon there in Hong Kong... they better get moving. I want my status to say "Order Shipped"! Out of curiosity, what shipping method did you order, Darky?
This thread wins for encapsulating the word 'spam' in its most refined definition. XD
This is where the queue list starts making itself known. Darky must've been high up on that list.
You mean KH2. Buena Vista didn't publish the first KH game, 'Squaresoft' did. Buena Vista agreed to publish Kingdom Hearts 2 during the latter period of KH2's final days of production when Square was out hunting for publishers. This has no bearing on the actual 'development' of Kingdom Hearts 2. The game was virtually at its completion by the time Buena Vista agreed to become its publisher. As for the censored parts of KH2, it's not really Disney's direct intervention. Japan's rating system is CERO, NA uses the ESRB rating system. These two rating systems have different philosophies as to what's 'allowed' for certain age ranges. As such, the censoring in the NA version of KH2 is due to process of developers deciding on a what sort of rating they'd want the game to have, then have their current game model screened and reviewed by the ESRB. After this, appropriate feedback is given back with changes that may need to be made to fit that expectation. Buena Vista, as a publisher, has no say in what specific cuts are going to be made, but they have the option to withdraw their right to publish the game if they're not satisfied with the end product. Square made the calls on these cuts, not Buena Vista.
Oh my, and Darky pulls the lucky string out of the lot! I'd laugh (and be extremely jealous) if you were the first person outside Japan to get Final Mix+.
Correction. Developed by SE. Published by Buena Vista Games. Two different things.
Mine's still on Preparing Order as well. No biggie, I have massive finals this week anyway. XD
Check your status. If it says "Preparing Order" for your shipment, you most likely have a copy being prepared for you. It wouldn't make much sense for your shipment status to change (considering this is 4 days before the anticipated March 29th) if they didn't have one for you. I'm not 100% sure on this, however.
Yeah, it did. I think it was a few business days ahead of the officially stated release date. Canadian release for KH2 was the 30th of March, but my local EB games managed to release it on the 28th along with the US. Play-Asia's on the ball it seems. Good for them; I mean, it's actually cheaper to buy from YesAsia... but I'm too used to Play-Asia already.
Yeah, I'm tackling Re:CoM first as well. I'm expecting some extreme degree of nostalgia from playing Re:CoM. It'd be great if Re:CoM would last a decent length of time. It would make FM+ all the more exciting to play after you realize you've only seen the tip of the iceberg once you finish Re:CoM.
I love how the requirement keeps changing. I remember at one point it was you 'only had to beat FM+', now it's both Re:CoM and FM+. What fickle information.
Halo and Counter Strike just appeal to different people, and while you're entitled to your opinion, try to make an effort not to equate the word 'gay' with 'stupid/useless/etc'. You may offend some members on this forum. Honestly, the fact that you wrote 'gay' in the topic title and made it the premise of the thread's argument, I think you should get a warning. Choose your words more carefully next time.
