Final Mix+ is a Region 2 PS2 disc (JP game). Therefore, it won't play on an American PS2 unless you modify your console to do so.
Final Mix+ was originally going to be in English audio (minus the new scenes). They added the Japanese audio track for kicks. All the new scenes won't be in english though (silent scenes) and Re:CoM is all in Japanese. All in all, there isn't really anything that benefits non-Japanese speakers about Theatre mode whether or not they decided included it.
Tough choice. If it were simply a video game, I'd love to be an Organization Nobody, but if for instance this were a real life thing, I'd go with Keyblader. Organization Nobodies have a hard 'life' and a very miserable future (as they literally have none), and that sucks.
Um, Riku never lost his heart. He gave in to his darkness, but his heart was never removed, thus he never turned into a Heartless. Riku is a special case. He's a successful hybrid of light and darkness. He walks the path to dawn--or so he called it at the end of CoM.
Reminds me of that film coming out soon, Disturbia. XD A boy under house-arrest gets so bored that he spies on his neighbours. Little did he know that by doing so, he would witness a murder and eventually become the killer's new target. The premise kind of made me laugh.
I don't know, but just in case, you know. The feds are always watching. Even when I shower. D:
D: Human Ingenuity! (plus four more words?)
Hey, welcome to the forums! Have fun, be active, and stay out of trouble ;p
Very well done, although this should've been in the Music section. XD
lol, usually if people enjoy it they wouldn't mind the length. If you find yourself struggling to continue reading, then I suggest don't continue. lol.
You read my fic, that's what you do. http://kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=6068
No, I'm rather knowledged about the history of Square's games, thanks. Not trying to make your above two paragraphs seemingly pointless but: Nomura already stated that KH3's battle system is going to be a guideline off of FFvsXIII. This battle system requires White Engine. White Engine is only supportable on the PS3. Therefore, KH3 is most likely bound for the PS3. I never completely vetoed the idea of any KH title coming to the Wii, just from what's already been confirmed--the Wii can't support the Engine Nomura is planning to use for KH3. It's really just that simple. I could've sworn my original post made reference to this White Engine. Maybe you missed that.
No. Square-Enix needs White Engine. Wii might be possible for spin-off titles. Mainstream titles will likely stay on the PS3.
Nope. If you own the PS2 V1-11, you can use the Slide Card method (or the Flip-Top method, but that voids your warranty), however, I have no idea how those work so you'd probably have to do your own research or wait until someone here knows how to work one. But no, you don't have to own a slim to use Swap Magic. If you decide to use a Japanese PS2, you don't need a Japanese controller (although if you buy one new, it should come with one anyway) or a Japanese memory card. I have all my US/JP memory saves all on the same PS2 memory card (bought and purchased in NA). The only purpose for a Japanese PS2 is to read the Japanese PS2 discs. Here in NA, PS2 games are Region 1, whereas in Japan, their PS2 games are Region 2. Just remember that if you buy a Japanese PS2, you're still going to need to 'modify' it to play NA games (Region 1) on it.
Erm. - As of now, FM+ is only being released in Japan, on March 29, 2007. - Final Mix+ comprises of two discs, one is the Final Mix, the other is Re:CoM - I.e. both Re:CoM and FM+ are both for the PS2 platform. That's why they're probably calling this Final Mix+ (Final Mix "plus" more)
That doesn't mean he's working on KH3. And the fact that he said he wouldn't be working on KH3 until after FFXIII is released, obviously means KH3 is in hiatus until then.
Actually, it's the 29th for Japan :p But yeah, there are several threads already concerning, discussing or debating if and why FM+ is/should come to NA and/or Euro. The search button is only a mouse click away.
"I assume production of KH3 will start this year". No, Nomura already said he's not working on KH3 until after FFXIII comes out, and that game isn't due until sometime next year or the year after that. As for voice actors, I doubt Haley's voice will change dramatically like it did from KH1 to KH2 since puberty already kicked in. If anything, his voice will become more solid in terms of its range and clarity--nothing that would set him back from reprising Sora's role (if Sora is a) in KH3, and b) if Sora has any dialogue) Actually, even in Haley's interviews before KH2 was released in NA, his voice was already really deep and raspy (and didn't sound like Sora at all), but he changes his intonation when he voices his lines to make them higher and more youthful. One's normal voice and their acting voice for video games aren't always the same; Haley is one of these types of actors, at least for KH.
LOL. Yeah, actually, my girlfriend's half Japanese/half American. Her American father went over to Japan for a while, and ended up marrying a Japanese girl. There must be some flare about foreigners, gaijin--as the Japanese like to call it. No PS2? o_o Ouch. As for the importing, I know most parents don't like doing it for their children not so much because of the extra cash, but because anything online tends to have a higher risk of fraud and whatnot. Play-Asia is a really reliable company though. I've ordered many games from them under the highest priority shipping, and I always received it under 24 hours--literally ordering it one afternoon, and having the UPS guy knocking on my door at 11AM the next day. Of course everytime that UPS comes I have brokerage to pay for, gah. I ordered FM+ using EMS Speedpost this time though. As for learning Japanese. Don't worry too much about it, I'm pretty sure there is a large amount of people (not just here on kh-vids) who import games without knowing what the heck anything says in the menus. Translations and menu guides will most likely pop up on these forums very quickly as people who are able to translate go through FM+.
No, Square has not announced any future plans to release FM+ to NA or Euro.
