The PS3s actually don't have any slots for you to insert PS2 memory cards. Whenever you play a PS2 game, the console creates an internal partition for PS2 save data. Unless of course I haven't done enough homework, but I don't know a way to transfer your PS2 memory card data to th PS3--only possibility seems via USB, but I wouldn't know how to do that. XD

The memory stick slot is for transferring things like your digital camera photos, videos, etc.

Yeah, I'm uber pro like that.

And yeah, 12 hour differences is kinda funny. My mother always has to mention during lunch time: It's midnight over there in Manila.

And thanks libregkd about the sig/avie.

Whoa whoa whoa, that second screen is from the Armoured Knight!? I have no idea what's going on in that screen. XD

    Incredibly sweet.

    Sora and Roxas.

There's some bias because Sora had atrociously more screen time than any other character, but his character is really an awesome creation. Roxas just struck a chord with me all throughout his time as the main character. He really captured his emotions and expressed really clearly for the rest of us.

Both characters were well done. I loved watching the both of them.

Character creation severely destroys a good story. This is because this forces Square-Enix to produce a game with one very huge gap in the concept design, that is, the main character--which if you haven't noticed, is an integral part of any story. You try making a really good story around a main character that you're not allowed to create--it's practically impossible to do. Won't work for a good RPG, won't work for a Square title.

Tetsuya Nomura is an excellent character designer. I'd gladly let him throw as many characters at me as he wants.

Some of the AR stuff I've seen for SSBM:

    - Samus spamming a full-charged cannon (zero lag inbetween so it looked almost like a wave of cannon blasts)

    - Low gravity for all characters

    - Characters face the screen as you battle (watching Fox dash back and forth on Final Destination while facing the screen is absolutely hilarious)

    - Ability to duel on non-melee stages like Home Run Contest.

    Meh, this is easier.

RagnARok - Very nice collection of AR goodies for SSBM.
The Wrath of Giga Bowser - Fanmade video. Kinda funny, but awesome cinematography. The BGM is FFVIII's OP actually.

You have to remember that Sephiroth isn't a Heartless though, thus he probably won't be able to do the same things Heartless are able to do (such as transfiguration, commanding other Heartless--although this doesn't seem like a bad possibility).

Heartless are beings born when hearts are removed from an individual, and it doesn't seem like Cloud had ever lost his heart. Cloud seems more similar to Riku than any other character in the series. Cloud sort of gave in to the darkness inside of him much how Riku did--both these characters never lost their hearts, yet they have representations of the darkness within them ("Ansem", Xehanort's Heartless for Riku and Sephiroth for Cloud).

Cloud seems to be destined to walk the same path Riku did, that is, the Path to Dawn--as Riku called it at the end of CoM. A successful hybrid of light and darkness, if you will.

The only real difference between the two is that Riku's darkness manifests itself from within him, causing him to take the form of Xehanort's Heartless in KH2, whereas Cloud's darkness actually manifested itself into an entirely separate being.

I don't have one, but I see lots of uses for it. I'd probably never use it for RPGs, though.

I know AR with Smash Bros Melee is loads of fun. The tweaks you can do for that game are just hilarious.

I wouldn't pay that much money for it though. =\ Someone buy me one for the Cube? XD

    Try not to spam.

And Zexion, lots of members before were complaining about the entire "Service Not Available" issue that used to pop up when they tried navigating the forum.

DS' server switch fixed this problem--as I've personally never had that error occur since.

    XD Still missing 6 words!

Also, let's not go spamming now.

As for me, I agree with the difficulty level being too easy, somehow that made the game feel even shorter than it probably was. I also didn't like the entire Keyblade thing with Kairi. I refuse to believe that thing is anything more than some crafted piece of furniture that Kairi used to whack at some Heartless. A metal pipe would've been just as effective.

March 29 is the official Japan release.

There isn't any confirmation of a NA release date.

    SCPH 70012... that's probably a version 12.

You can actually take advantage of two different types. The V12 is actually less cumbersome than the V13-16 because there isn't an extra metal plate blocking the way of where the third piece (usually denoted as Tool C) goes (the one at the top left of the disc tray).

    You can use:
Slim Tool XCM Pro V3 - You can buy this as a combo w/ Swap Magic 3.6 at thegiantstore.com--although there are many other sites out there, I just named one.
Magic Keys II (which I linked in an earlier post)
Magic Switch Pro V2/V3. (However, I don't recommend this as V2 voids your warranty and V3 is pretty much the same as Magic Keys II).

My suggestion is to go for Slim Tool XCM Pro V3, or any tool set that isn't using the tedious modified Tool C (the Tool C referenced in this link). This is because as you have the V12, you don't need to bother using this modified tool (which has been claimed to be a lot harder to install).

To be sure, make sure to check your slim to see if it has this metal plate indicated by the red arrow. However, judging by your SCPH model #, I doubt it does.

If it indeed doesn't have it, then you can go ahead and use the Slim Tool XCM Pro V3 and use these tools/instructions.

EDIT: Just so you can compare, Tool C in these instructions serves the same function as Tool B in these instructions. Like I mentioned before, that notorious Tool C has been said to be a lot more difficult to install (it was made to compensate for that metal plate addition in later versions of the PS2 slim). Since you probably don't have that metal plate, this Tool C is not going to be used for yours, and instead you can use the Tool B in that other instruction guide--which is far easier to do.

lol, you'd look pretty bad if they ended up releasing it in NA and Euro since it's still not confirmed.

Like I've said many times before, Square-Enix will have to risk losing money if they decide to being over FM+ with a revoiced Re:CoM. It's not favouritism; it's economics.

Just because *you'd* buy FM+, doesn't mean all of NA and Euro will. Your wallet on its own, unfortunately, is not a significant statistic. So go download your .ISO if you like, but just remember that you doing so is the reason why developers think they shouldn't bother making video games.

Just google something like "youtube download video".

Basically you paste the youtube link into those sites and they'll provide you with a means to download the video in flash video format (.FLV file).

From there you can use converstion programs to bring it to more standard video formats like .avi, .mpeg etc. The quality of youtube videos can suffer dramatically though, and the conversion only makes this worse. But... if you don't want to wait for Deathspank to address your problem, there's your option.

O_o does it even matter what his sexual preference is? I'm sure it wouldn't make a difference to what his role is in the game.

Not to mention you may be offending some of the members on this forum.

Don't mean to pry, but I think it's important so no one get's confused.

There is *no* Freeloader for the PS2. Freeloader is strictly for Nintendo consoles. Swap Magic is the most popular software mod for the PS2 out there.

Yeah, it'll be using GC controllers. Sakurai felt that adding Wii remote configurations to the gameplay would be far too difficult and confusing for us veteran Smash players, so he decided to let us keep our GC controllers. Since Brawl's main selling point is (hopefully) its online capability, it's most likely a title that Sakurai wants every smasher to buy *knowing* how to play the game, with a little adjustments here and there--since he said the game speed will be 'moderated' (It's probably going to be a little slower). No surprise there when they have to compensate for online play.

And yeah, as libregkd said, the 20GB doesn't feature Memory stick, the extra HDD space, Wi-Fi. I think I'm the only one in my friends group who has a 60GB model, so I'm not quite sure on the reasons why the 20GB hasn't been doing well. I was actually going to settle for the 20GB originally since both support 1080P anyway.
