I'm a heterosexual guy, but I have a few gay friends. Since I went to a Performing Arts Academy during high school, the % of gay men was a lot higher than what you'd find in normal high schools where I live, so I've been around quite a lot of gay men and women. They're actually quite fun to hang out with and really funny. It's so much funnier to see a gay man b*tch than a female. XD. They're so cruel.
XD I had to ctrl+F this page to find that "Commit it to memory" line because I didn't remember writing anything like that. But apparently I did (after I found it)! Thanks for your support as always, and yeah, Chapter Ten is a doosey... I've repeatedly been editing it and adding to it... removing stuff from it. XD It's just very long. Hopefully you all will enjoy it. I have a Calc quiz tomorrow so I don't think I'll be able to work on it tonight, but I plan to have it out by Friday. We'll see how it goes.
You're referring to brokerage fees; I feel your pain. I also had to pay an extra 10 dollars for the last two orders I made from them. Try ordering with EMS Speedpost next time from Play-Asia. It's a special system that transfers your shipment from one local post office to another. Because of this system, I don't ever recall paying brokerage fees when I shipped using EMS (although when I shipped via EMS, these were eBay purchases). But seeing as the packages still come out of Hong Kong, despite which shipping method you use, I assume the end result is the same. I personally ordered FM+ off Play-Asia this time using EMS Speedpost. I'll see what happens. While the base price for EMS is a little more expensive than the alternative courier shipments methods like UPS or FedEx, when you factor in the anticipated brokerage fees (which is unpredictable), you can save yourself an extra few dollars/pounds/etc and a little stress.
Apparently that Armoured Knight boss battle is easy. <.< says first post of this thread.
You mean Xehanort... or his Heartless, whatever.
Deathspank ordered FM+ with the quickest shipping available. That usually means delivery under 24 hours from date of shipment (I've gotten things that fast as well for video games). He also said he'd only be recording the extra scenes and upload them to the site ASAP. No worries.
This new secret ending is just blowing my mind.
It says New Project being done *with* Disney.
It wasn't entirely random; I ciphered through the worlds and decided which ones I could work with and which ones I couldn't. Halloween Town does seem rather insignificant, but it'll make more sense in Chapter Ten, hopefully. XD Thanks for the continued support! Just two chapters to go until the end of Part One. -- -- Chapter Nine -- And there you have it. Chapter Ten is LONG. PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR IT.
I'd date King Mickey. =) Oooo you touched my tra la la.. MMMM my ding ding dong.
KH is a series that can appeal to anyone of any age. Square-Enix titles in general are more directed toward older audiences since the themes are usually more mature and can only be understood more readily by older groups people. The Disney aspect allows KH to also connect with younger audiences as well, which is why this game has such a huge age range--and probably why it was so successful in any market. What's also important to note is that the game(s) have several dimensions when you play through it. Younger audiences can find enjoyment in most of the storyline that is displayed on the surface (ex. the fantastical visuals of visiting other worlds, the slight comedy between some of the characters), and the older audiences can appreciate the more elusive themes that are embedded throughout each title (ex. In the first game, the theme of growing up and losing innocence was one, and in KH2, there was a major emphasis on the theme of identity and memory). There's something to be found for anyone of any age in the KH series. The games themselves surpass age; they're timeless tales really--something both Disney and Square-Enix are really good at producing.
Nomura-san, I don't understand you. So you can do this in Theatre Mode, but not actually in-game? The audio track is obviously in there somewhere so how come we don't have the option to switch audio tracks in game? 野村さんはどうしたんだい?!
If I had a better income, I'd love to get this just because I'm somewhat of a collector. However, at that price tag, it's sort of a waste considering we're in the age of MP3 players like the iPOD, Ivory and Zen, etc. So if I got this I'd probably end up just ripping them to my MP3 player and have absolutely no more use for the CD collector's set except to have it look pretty on my shelf. No way I'm spending 140USD for that.
XD Tamashii. I like the name. Anyway, welcome to the forums.
It's a lot like FFXI's battle system. Actually, the game itself is a lot like FFXI. Even the Mandragoras look the same. You spend more hours of the game fighting monsters than you do actually enjoying the story. *anger and hate for FFXII*
Wow, my bad. So sorry. XD
Darkness... this isn't the right subforum to post something like this. As for being staffed, if you're a respected member of the community, help other members, and showcase the ability that they feel is required to be a staff member, then they'll eventually approach you about it. It also depends if they're even in the need of more staff members. It'd be in your best interest to not purposely aim to become a Mod/Admin/Forum Helper, however.
Not 100% sure, I remember reading '50' somewhere. Gharanth, if you ever read this, my apologies if I'm completely wrong about your age. =\
Yeah, oldest forum member here is most likely Gharanth, which I think is uber cool (for those who know her age).
Swap Magic is a software mod, meaning it functions as a modification tool for your PS2, but doesn't do anything physical to your hardware. This is why this type of mod appeals to many people over the soldered modchip because it keeps your warranty intact in exchange for just a few more steps (i.e. swapping). What's important to know is that Swap Magic will not work on its own, meaning you'll require something like the Slide Card for all PS2 versions up to V11, and Slim Tool Pro/Magic Keys for V12-16 (Keep in mind that earlier versions of Slim Tool Pro only works for V12 PS2s, Slim Tool Pro V3 can work for V13+ but most stick with Magic Keys II). Magic Keys II is usually what many people go for if they have V13-16, but it works for V12 as well. I only know the procedure for PS2 slims, so I apologize if your console isn't part of the slimline series. How to 'mod' your PS2 slim using this scheme consists of first installing the three tools you receive from Magic Keys II/Slim Tool Pro. One tool is placed by the bottom right of the disc tray over the Reset/Power area, another is used for the disc break, and the last piece is placed in the hinge located at the top left of the disc tray. Magic Keys II Website (Directions and demo video is on there) Directions for Slim Tool V3 (For V13+) (However, the process for Magic Keys II is very similar) Swap Magic itself can be googled, as it's sold by many different suppliers. Many have combos featuring Swap Magic + Magic Keys II/Slim Tool Pro.
