Umm, this has been somewhat proven already in many psychological research studies. "Proof" only from MRI scans of the brain during many sleep tests that psychologists conducted originally to study the formation of dreams. It's often called sleep paralysis. When you enter REM sleep, your body is actually in a state of paralysis to prevent movements during sleep. Studies have (and for lack of better phrasing, I shall quote directly) highly suggested that it may be linked to post-synaptic inhibition of motor neurons in the pons region of the brain. In particular, low levels of melatonin may stop the depolarization current in the nerves, which prevents the stimulation of the muscles, to prevent the body from enacting the dreamt activity (e.g. preventing a sleeper from running when dreaming about running). Essentially, when you awake--usually suddenly from REM sleep--your level of consciousness returns back to its normal beta wave frequencies (which signifies awakeness and alertness), but your body has yet to shake out of its REM sleep condition. This is most likely due to a relapse in the continuation of pre/post synpatic communication between your neurons. Many cultures--usually Eastern ones--have had their own beliefs on sleep paralysis. The most common among these is that it occurs when a spirit is nearby or if you've been temporary possessed for an unknown reason. This demon theory is probably one of these cultural superstitions. As a Psychology major, and having read about sleep paralysis through the Biological Basis of the human brain, naturally I side with the scientific explanation.
Probably just for the mag. You know how it is, like making them models now. lol. It's nice though, wish there was a bigger scan for download. EDIT: I take that back. It's big enough. lol.
Yeah, AskJeeves is a reject search engine. No one wants them. Jeeves is wrong anyway. Never ask him.
Well it wouldn't be Organization 'Thirteen' without the thirteenth member. ;p Yeah, Roxas would be mine too because he was incredibly exceptional in terms of how he thought and felt in comparison to the others (he seemed to be the only one who showcased true emotion, something that Nobodies aren't supposed to be able to do). After that, Axel's also a favourite--for somewhat the same reasons as Roxas.
That's because 90% of those guests are Google and Yahoo spiders. lol
I say Lexeaus the same way.
O_o f(x)=3.14x is a function. A linear function with a slope of Pi and a y-intercept of 0. Do I get a cookie now?
This is atrocious. They don't have an e^x day, but a pi day!? e^x > pi anyday. Err.. not mathematically.
Rat, you made a new thread in the Spam Zone. Shame on you.
I've flamethrowered a spider before; hairspray and a barbecue lighter.
Ro-ku-sa-su = Roxas. Just call me Soushirei, or any other variation the members here have come up with. <.< It was my former username here anyway.
Yeah, but referencing off papers really do take some of the naturalness away from it. As well, they need to exist before you can take advantage of them.
Not quite sure what that means.
You forgot the detail that it's over the span of a human lifetime. Statistically, you swallow at least one spider sometime during your life while you sleep. Of course this doesn't mean you will.
I have male genitilia. I'm also a guy.
Roxas & Sora fight scene takes place in TWTNW. XD But yeah, a specific place in TWTNW that lies beyond where Sora fights Roxas.
Yeah, I'm not really saying it's impossible, just lots of people like to be in control of how they customize Sora and the others. Like "I want this ability to be on" or "I want to synthesize this item because I like it". For many who don't understand Japanese, they sort of just get all these abilities and pick up certain items and have no clue what they are--and sometimes, even when they equip them, they have some difficulty seeing what they do (and thus are still confused as to what ability they equipped). An example would be MP Rage or MP Haste, Power Up items, Defense Up items, etc. It was somewhat difficult for people to get Ultima in the first Final Mix because the Ultima weapon was bumped up to I believe the 50th item on the list (it's been a while, forgive me), so there were about 24 more items to synthesize before you could synthesis Ultima. And of course, since most of these items were "newly" added items to the game, they required "new" gems and stones as well. Thus, it was difficult to collect these items or have a sense of who drops them due to the lack of understanding of what they are or where they come from. It's little things like that that can take back from an experience for some gamers, and is probably the second major reason why people request a NA version released in the first place--the first reason being the Region code issue.
Nope. One of the Ori+ you need for Ultima can only be gotten in an area that is only accessible after that cutscene.
Yeah, but good luck navigating the menus. Those will all be in their glorifying kanji, hiragana and katakana. Of course if your Japanese is up to speed, then disregard what I just said.
Definitely the Fish Song from Little Mermaid. I know that song by heart. You know, the one the chef sings when he's cooking in the kitchen and Sebastien runs around for his life.
