Not sure if that was supposed to be a wise-crack, but I am Canadian. O_O. I naturally pronounced it that way when I first saw it. I took it from the Latin vowel system, and I blame my vocal background for it. The women's choir back in senior year sang Lux Aeterna for a competition and it was pronounced "Loo-ks"

Ever since, anything "Lux" I've pronounced the same way.

Hmm. Somehow I felt compelled to release Chapter Seven. It's the longest Chapter so far. Oh noes.

Maybe because it's long, and I feel some readers are getting bored. My hiatus begins after I post Chapter Ten, so I might as well get these going along.

There we have it. Orb #1 down, although Kairi, Riku and Sora are all presently unconscious inside an icy temple. They should die by hypothermia and frostbite by the morning.

For Demyx, I've always for some reason read it as: Dem-mee-ex
As for Marluxia, been saying Mar-loo-k-see-ah, for some reason.

D: Unfortunately not. I tried to see if I could somehow fit them into the story, but the ideas that came to me seemed to be too elaborate (since Cloud's problem isn't supposed to be a big part of the story), and anything less wouldn't do that particular trio of characters any justice. So in the end, I decided to completely omit anything related to Advent Children except Denzel.

Riku's Rebirth story wasn't pointless. We learned quite a lot about the Nobodies, that wasn't pointless. We learned about Namine and what her powers were, that wasn't pointless. We also had lots of foreshadowing events, such as the visit to Twilight Town, that wasn't pointless.

Sure, CoM had its less than important details, but it had lots of facts that were pretty good to know before tackling KH2. Also, why not play it just because you like KH?

They should've just gotten rid of it. Something like 'datte ba yo' can't really be harnessed accurately in the english language.

I've never watched a dubbed Naruto episode in my life, however. I've made every effort to avoid it.

    Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ + Subs
The subs are overall pretty accurate. The only disappointment is that they've only really translated the Re:CoM part of the trailer, and didn't bother to translate the subtitles throughout the FM+ portion. Oh well.

My apologies to the mods/admins if this was already stated somewhere on the forum.

Hollywood cinema obviously missed the point of Battle Royale.

Judging by the trailer, The Condemned seems to want to focus on the action and the 'ruthless killing skill' of these players. The action music, along with the patented narration, just goes to show that they plan to make this more of an action thriller above anything else.

Battle Royale was more sinister and dark film with much more psychological elements in it. It toyed with the innocence of the human mind, the desire to live and the price of survival. It also tested the limits of human insanity and the perseverence of human integrity, and of course, questioned the boundary of what really is considered the 'right' and 'wrong'.

The players in The Condemned are all death-row inmates and ruthless killers, and they're going to let the winner go free? ... Why?

Eff that movie. I'd rather watch Cheaper by the Dozen.

It wasn't entirely pointless. It explains a lot of things that fill in some minor deatils missing pieces between KH1 and KH2. Of course with Re:CoM coming out, CoM for the GBA may look less worth purchasing.

If you really need to play it, you could always play it on emulator--of course I can't specify anything regarding how and where to get the emulator or the ROM.

There's also that CoM movie that someone compiled together on the web; it was really well done.

Many would consider this a filler, and you know, it probably is. The Orb hunt would've taken place immediately after Glenn gave his debriefing, but I felt uncomfortable starting the Orb hunt halfway through a chapter so I decided to settle with some character reflection. Sora and co. have been doing nothing but research lately, so I supposed they needed a break too. ;p

Chapter Seven is long, so look forward to it... I hope. Thanks, everyone!

He said he "was curious about it, and wanted to know more", not necessarily facts. I thought giving a review as someone who's played it would help him greatly. I merely mentioned Star Ocean 3 because seeing as I found it several times better than Radiata, I thought I'd pass on that recommendation to him.

Rat, I can tell that you're trying to experiment with more complex sentence structures, and for the most part, your ideas are intact.

However, like Roxas was touching upon, you're confusing everyone with all sorts of incompatible or contradictory propositions. "In a rainy day", for example, you can't be 'in' a rainy day. "On a rainy day", is the correct way to say that. You also went on to say 'to buy and or see', which has two conjunctive words that are incompatible. Use only one of them, not both. While you may see the term 'and/or' used often in speech or on paper, this term doesn't work in the fictional world.

Keep at it, and you'll get better.

You can't get the amount they ask you for.

I don't recall specifics, but you need to level your Moogle until it is able to use Serenity Crystals (I think) in synthesis. Those crystals halve the amount of required materials needed for any recipe when you include it in the mixture.

Thus, the Orc+ requirement drops to 7. And you can only get 7 in the entire game I believe.

As for the other materials, they can be made--so get to that. ;p

There was a scaling problem before with the PS1/PS2 playback, but this problem has been fixed in the latest firmware Sony released. I'm currently playing Rogue Galaxy and many other PS2 games on my PS3, and they play fine under 480P.

I've also played Radiata Stories to its completion. It's not a very good game, I'm afraid to say. The reason I played it was because in the past, I've appreciated many titles that were made by Tri-Ace. So I decided to give Radiata Stories a try.

The story is very un-engaging and the characters were unable to really captivate me. The protagonist--despite having a name like Russel--is somewhat one-dimensional and whiny. At the beginning of the game, he reminded me a lot like Naruto, but unlike the anime series, Russel doesn't change very much throughout the game, at least, not progressively. His demeanor changes somewhat drastically at some point of the game, but this only makes his performance more unconvincing and awful.

The settings are owed some credit; the angles are nice and there are lots of people to talk to, and quite a bits of characters you can recruit into your party. However, the process in doing this can be tedious and really unmotivating given the cast of characters at your disposal and the sheer uninteresting plot. The only thing I really looked forward to was replacing my armor and getting better weapons. That alone, shows how uninterested I was in the game.

The world map is vastly mediocre to the core, with shallow camera angles and limited detail on the paths on which you walk as you travel across the continent. Enemy encounters are not random--which can seem uplifting--but the beastiary is nothing graphically gradiose to the eye and many of them seem irrelevent and unnecessary (I'm talking about giant ants and spiders in perfectly normal green pastures). The battle system is about the game's only redeeming feature, but I've seen the battle system utilized far better in other titles (which I was say in a moment). It's placed in real-time, and resembles much what other action RPGs tend to look like: you can control any character in your party at any time and the rest are simulated by AI. The tactics of your AI comrades can be customized to fit a particular role such as healer, melee, etc. The battlefields are not like KH and instead you are enclosed in a specific battle area where you fight the entire duration of the battle. These battlefields are really sore to the eyes, as they lack detail and actually bore you throughout the battle.

If I were you, I'd pass on Radiata Stories. It's definitely a Tri-Ace title you can overlook. I originally was interested in trying out Radiata Stories because of another title Tri-Ace made called Star Ocean 3: Till the End of the Time. I very highly recommend you try that game over Radiata Stories. The cast of the characters are far more intriguing and entertaining to watch, the story is far more action-packed and well written, and the soundtrack completely outdoes Radiata Stories. I absolutely hated the OSTs for Radiata Stories. Star Ocean 3 also has as similar battle system that Radiata Stories had, but is utilized far more intelligently and is much more engaging.

    Hope this helps.

Yeah, you see I tried doing that a few weeks ago on my Wii. But uhh...

    a) I hate Opera browser
    b) I didn't know where my USB keyboard was so I didn't wanna do it manually.
