It's more of the semantics behind it.

It's sort of elusive, but Heartless aren't beings without hearts. They're actually the heart itself, transformed. The Heartless were always supposed to represent the darkness in all living hearts. It is *also* important to note that this 'darkness' isn't synonymous with evil. Heartless in actuality are more like the raw desire and impulse of the human heart--which isn't evil by definition. Anyway, that's why in KH2, Organization XIII wanted Sora to go out and slaughter more Heartless so he could fuel Kingdom Hearts. If Heartless *really* didn't have hearts, why would Saix tell Sora to keep killing Heartless?

It's also a good aesthetic to note that whenever you kill a Heartless, a little glowy heart floats out of them, another indication that these Heartless, do in fact, have hearts.

Nobodies on the other hand, are empty shells. They actually do not have hearts.

An episode that has nothing to do with the main story/plot. It essentially 'fills' up the episode slot without advancing the story. People usually hate them when they go on for long periods of time, kinda like what Naruto did.

The US is severely behind in the Naruto games. The Gekitou Ninja Taisen series (which is the Clash of the Ninja in the US) already has up to the 4th installment on the Gamecube.

Shippuuden EX is the 5th installment.

I can only assume Clash of the Ninja 3 and 4 will come out for the Gamecube, unless they decide to completely redo the gameplay--which seems unlikely.

There is a Naruto game for the Wii. It's only out in Japan currently.

It's called Naruto Shippuuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX. And the Wii is backwards compatible, so of course Gamecube games will work on the Wii (given they're the right region).

Actually, Person is somewhat correct; it's like the following (taken from strategy guide):

This is why lots of people claim to continually go into Anti-Form during Organization XIII battles, and why it's very hard to turn into Anti-Form when you go Final Form. If you continually use Final Form as your only Drive, you'll never go Anti-Form, ever.

Colder winters is also a product of global warming. People often mistake what Global Warming *actually* is. To put it very simply, global warming is part of what's causing summers and winters to become far more extreme.

libregkd is probably referring to something like Aldous Huxley's "A Brave New World".

In theory, this would work--save the argumentative beliefs by humanists.

It's a scientific idea that means all human life is genetically predetermined before birth as to what their occupations are going to be, their income, etc. As such, using combined methods of classical conditioning, operant conditioning, and assortments of clinical drugs, this keeps individuals on track of their 'predetermined' destinies. As well, individuals in this society are very aptly monitored and cared for. Everyone drinks and nourishes themselves at the same time, eat the same amount of food as everyone else. These are all calculations made to not put any of the individuals into any forms of distress.

This model prevents crime because individuals in this society are incapable of emotion, and thus will never feel unhappy, inadequate, or feel anxiety. They can't feel elation because they don't know what sadness is. They don't know what desire is because their imaginations and to some extent--their brain capacity--doesn't allow them to think outside the tasks that have been required of them. In other words, you can't miss or desire what you've never wanted; you can't feel that you're being morally imprisoned if you don't know what freedom is; you can't experience thirst or hunger if you're always being well nourished before such biological indicators can kick in.

Many people like to say that "no one can be happy there because no one has free will". But what you're forgetting is that to the people in this hypothetical society, they don't know what free will is. They can't feel misery if they don't know that there's something better for them out there. They're fed, clothed, given a job that they're good at, have a house, an income, what's there to be angry and sad about? (Even though this is hypothetically impossible). What you don't know won't hurt you; ignorance is bliss. You could reference that to the Bible when Adam and Eve committed the original sin when they ate the Forbidden Fruit; it is knowledge itself, that is the problem.

Now of course, this is just a theory, and as all of you can probably imagine, this would be a very hard thing to pull off. Ignoring that fact that probably no civilization on the planet presently would want to go this route, and the fact that we lack the scientific technology to effectively pull this off, not to mention the immorality of the idea, many humanists like to believe that it is *innate* human nature to always want more, and seek more than what one has and knows about the world around them. Empirically, this can't be proven, since dealing with matters like that need construct validity, and finding that can take years and even then, they almost never find enough suggestive evidence. At best, it can only be suggested, not proven.

So going back to what you said, anniexo_lexa, they won't rebel because they wouldn't know what to rebel against, and for what reason. Free will is more or less something we learn we have because of the world we live in. We grow up being taught that we have a right to make choices for ourselves in many respects. If one grew up in Huxley's "Brave New World", the situation would be a lot different.

From what I can tell you (since I only have a clear outline up till Chapter 10), most of the worlds are revisits of some already seen in the last two games, with little twists. This is sort of the same thing that happened in KH2 with revisiting old ones but doing new things. For the most part, it's strictly Square-Enix and Disney. I couldn't tell you for sure, but it's unlikely I'll be including characters/worlds created outside the game's franchise.

Right now, there is one original world that I have planned for Sora and co. to visit sometime during the second/final arc of the fic (i.e. Chapter 11-20), and this isn't affiliated with any series or game, but the appearance of the world might be influenced by some other games I've played (inadvertently, of course).

Thanks for the interest, DarknessKingdom. =D If you have any other questions, feel free to ask again!

    Director: Scene 306B, Marker!

-- The World That Never Was --

    Kairi: This isn't a dream...

*Director (Nomura): CUT! Kairi, stop translating the Japanese script!

-- The World That Never Was: Take Two --

Hayner: Kairi, it's in the script. I have absolutely no idea what we're supposed to be talking about.

Pence: Literary assumption is such a bummer.

    Kairi: Pence, LOSE SOME WEIGHT.

*Director (Nomura): CUT! Can I get a valium on Set 12 please!

-- Twilight Town, The Usual Spot: Take Twenty-Four --

(Axel steps out from a black portal, appearing before the four teens)

(Hayner and Pence lunge toward Axel)

Axel (painfully): AWW-@$&& MY EYES! Ahhh what are you two doing!? You're not--MY LEGS OH FOR GOODNESS SAKES @*$U%U

*Director (Nomura): CUT!! Hayner and Pence! You're supposed to miss!

(Axel steps out from the black portal, appearing before the four teens)

Axel: All your base are belong to us.

    Kairi: For great justice!

The eyes are a really good focal point of the sig. If you could somehow emphasize the blue in them even more that'd be great.

The image blurb to the left of the sig would look better to me if you used a different renderthan the one on the right. I suggest the artwork that has Sora with a sea-salt ice cream bar in his mouth, facing left.

As well, to add to simpicity, I think your sig would look good *without* any text altogether. But if you had to put text, I'd suggest making it smaller and somewhat obscured (like putting it vertically going down to the top right corner, perhaps in Katakana as well for styles!

Haha, overall I like it. I've become a fan of simplistic sigs over the past year, so this is definitely up my alley.

Oh, and good job on the border. =)

Thanks everyone for the continued support.

Chapter Four will be up sometime on Tuesday, so expect something around that time. I'd also like to remind that I don't mind any inquiries for anyone who may have any regarding the fic (such as non-spoiler details about the work, general inquiries, etc). I have this thread subscribed so I'll know if people have responded and will get back to you as soon as possible.

    Thanks, again!
