No, that's the "q33ny" hoax. With the wingdings font it shows a Skull, the David's Star and a "thumbs up" hand. With the webdings font it shows an eye, a heart, an some buldings' skyline.
Change the font to "wingdings". Make sure the size is big, so you can see it clearly. Like size 72. Turn caps lock on. Type: NYC (The initials of New York City) ------ Chenge the font to "webdings". The first one has been confirmed from microsoft that is nothing more than a coincidence. The second one they said that it's not that much of a concidence :P This is one of the 5 most known conspiracy theories.
