I'd like to see it first! But I still haven't been sent it yet. I won't be posting it on KHV, it's definitely too offensive, sexual, etc, to even slip by the site's rules. If anyone has me on Skype and wants to see it, wait till I change my skype status or whatever that is and it'll say "Ask for my stand up' or something. I'll then give you the link to where it's uploaded or a site to download it from. I don't mind anyone wanting to add me. But i'll update this thread for whenever I do have it too. Watch this space.
Knock, knock. May or may not be a video, we'll see if it ever is linked to me
What was your name pre-Nate?
Man, it is addictive, all that power over the audience, making them laugh. I kind of want to do it again. It went well, mostly. Forgot one of my jokes by accident, and even put a heckler down. Sweated buckets, and was blinded by the spotlight. The most offensive jokes made them laugh, obviously, pfft. It was a great night though, cheering each other on and everything. Recommend stand up to the brave and bold though.
That's what those Dating Sim games are for, man! Recommend The Silent Grove, Those Who Speak and Until We Sleep comic series then. Both of them, along with King Alastair, go on an adventure of their own. Imagine, the three biggest jokers in the Dragon Age series going on a serious quest and then loads of booty and you've got it.
Yeah, in a lot of ways, ME2 was better yet worse than the first when combat was involved. Playing through the game with only a pistol and submachine gun was annoying as hell. At least in the first you could theoretically use all weapons in certain situations, or you had a lot of abilities to choose from at worst.
That actually cheered me up! : D
...
See that works in drama, but with stand up you are always and need to be aware of your audience. I'll notice if they don't laugh, for example. I'm hoping seeing everyone else going to perform, who are nervous will make me feel normal and not worry as much. But that's a hope. But yeah, I need to focus more on my routine than anything else. I can't take any material on stage without getting marked down. Honestly, it's just the odd thing I forget, and the fact I keep changing jokes mid performance, which is always a problem to keep my brain on track. Can write on my hand though, which I may just do... Good advice though, thank you guys
I'm on stage tomorrow night. Doing stand up comedy. By myself. Trying to remeber my five to seven minutes worth of routine. To a room of... 30+, maybe? The eff word is repeating itself in my head over and over right at the moment. Anyone got any advice for stage anxiety?
Hello everybody. Today we give you the utterly deep pool of conversation that is Square Enix. The company behind our much loved Kingdom Hearts series and other franchises like Final Fantasy. We take a critical look at their involvement since they merged from the two separate companies, Squaresoft and Enix, up until the present day and what could happen beyond. We have our resident Square guru, libregkd, and our regular feminist, Square cynic, Misty. And me, Peace and War, the only one who seems to have played their western games series. We are obviously amateur observers whose opinions are our own, so on and so forth, so don't take our word for gospel. Just our views. We'd love to hear your opinions on the topics we bring up in this podcast, and would be willing to answer any questions about the topics we discuss. So let us know by commenting. I still find Mass Effect 2 to be the most boring to replay. Not saying it's boring, but the fifth time was getting a bit samey.
Bioware? Buy. The avatar and sig I have is of a DAII character. That's my endorsement for the series.
Again, we'll learn more as the North Americans test it, and its viability on our networks too. I'd like at least a discount if you're a PS+ member. If it's like their movie rental services then I'd like 30% off or something at the least. A trial i'm not sure, if they compete to Netflix and their streaming services than a month free would be a good starter. I understand the worry, OnLive was a terrible service in the end, so game streaming is for sure a concern. But I think Sony's dedication to this service attests they are trying to make it a mainstream way to play. If PS4 Remote play is anything to go by, it'll work out better for some and not others, but definitely nice in the end.
One thing I wish to know is if it's part of PS+ subscription. If it's not, I very much doubt i'd get it, purely from the cost side of things. Like Kitty, I could buy the PS3 games I don't have and want at a cheaper price than the service (if it costs extra) more than likely.
The perfect murder weapon! It scurries away and hides before the cops turn up.
We're not slow, we're just so fast it appears that way. GO TURBO!
Sony says: We REALLY want you to buy a PSVita! This is nice, but I won't be getting this till I'm guessing the end of this year or next. Shame. But like the PS4, the Americans are testing it out for us! : p
Ha, well I've never done so, you've got the upper hand there. Just Oliver Twist or more?
Been reading much Dickens?
