Tessa had to smile, just a little, at his dark humor. Considering they were all still alive after the things they had faced, she supposed they were all okay. "My name is Tessa." She offered him a hand to help him up, the other using her knees for support. "You're Poke, right?" She was pretty sure Ze Operator had mentioned it earlier, when he had appeared.

Tessa glanced up in surprise as Gale spoke to her. "Um...I'm okay. Just nervous." Every new scout had to be nervous when they first went out in the field, right? "I think we should probably go join everyone else, if we don't hurry, then the others.." She bit her lip. We have to make it in time.

"Coming?" She asked quietly as she grabbed the basket and hauled it towards the small group.

Veera struggled to breathe. It was something she had taken for granted, but now, every time she inhaled it was an uncertain struggle, and every exhale was a sigh of relief, only for the cycle to begin again. Her solace, small though it was, was that the scout sitting opposite her, kneeling rather, was having the same difficulty. Veera might have felt bad, if they hadn't been in the middle of dragging her off to a fate worse then death. In. Out. She really wanted to pass out, just let the black void take her and her struggles, but she wasn't so sure she'd like what would happen when she woke up. If she woke up.
In. She grabbed for the sword. Out. The scout tried to stop her, fumbling blindly for the same weapon.
Veera cheered silently, her vision blackening as she felt her stiff fingers wrap around the hilt. Every movement was one of pain, but she just focused on breathing. In and Out. The sword felt heavy, but she knew it wasn't; told herself it wasn't. It was a lie, but a nice one. And then the blood was running down her arm as it ran through, and the scout's eyes widened as they looked down. She felt her arm shake as she looked down, to see the hilt of a second sword protruding from her own body. The second scout. Her vision wavered, but not before she grasped scout in front of her and yanked the body onto the same blade that had skewered her. It's two for one day, I guess.

Tessa hesitated by Raymond's table, hands tapping her serving board as she considered his predicament. "Um...I guess you could always check the hiring boards in the square. There's usually some odd job or other that needs doing, and if you do a good enough job, then word of mouth can get you others." She had asked Bryce before about helping humans, and gotten a strict no. Word of mouth, passing along rumors, pointing in the right direction, fine. But there was no hiring, or physical aid of any sort. As if he thought she would accidentally reveal what she was while shaking someone's hand.

"If you don't find any luck there, you could always come back. Once in a while people pass through here looking for hard workers down on their luck. Maybe you'll find something more suitable." She smiled, glancing up when
Seth re-entered. Bryce hadn't killed him, and judging by the lack of blood, Bryce wasn't dead. Well, that was something. Her smile became just a little more genuine.

Never let it be said that the ladies didn't have their own charms. Remy wasn't sure there was much more he could have done, other then avoid the ire of the femalish robot that seemed to be glaring at everyone. Or maybe that was his imagination. He couldn't, or wouldn't, who could tell the difference, really give a damn about whatever they had talked about, but it seemed to be over.

Giving a pitying glance in the way of the
girl who seemed to wear nothing at all, he stuffed his cards into a breast pocket and pulled off his coat, settling it over her shoulders without really asking for permission. "You really shouldn't parade around like that. You might want to make them take you to dinner, at least." He offered, nodding towards Sam with a grin. If she didn't want to wear it, she could shake it off. His coat had been in worse places.

Plus, talking to her kept the other fire cracker from glancing his way.

Tessa sighed with relief; the moment was over. Well, in reality it had been about ten, fifteen minutes, but with that adrenaline rush it had gone by in the blink of an eye. Zephyr and Poke hadn't done too much to help, but the only person who really had, besides Shane, if that quiet mode had been anything to go by, was busy talking to one of the new boys. Tessa curled her lip in derision and turned to Poke. "Are you doing okay?" She asked hesitantly, glancing at Zephyr as he sighed again. What is he so impatient for?

Bryce sucked in air to his lungs, to start yelling of course, and then stopped. "Why wouldn't you go back to Sanctuary?" He asked, momentarily derailed. "You have a place to sleep there. And even if you didn't want it you could stay with me and Tessa, we have an extra room. So why risk your life out here?"

He sighed and discarded the thought of banging his head against the wall. This was Seth. "Look, you can't just offer to take Tessa. She'll think you're serious, and it'll hurt her when you're not. And on top of that, she can't leave Sanctuary. I can barely let her come here. She can't handle the world, Seth. She doesn't know what it's like out there for people like us. She's friendly to a freaking witcher, and you think it's okay to just let her out into the open? It doesn't matter how capable we are, she's going to get hurt, and it's going to be bad. She won't be able to handle it, okay? So don't give her false hope."

Bryce waved his hand, suddenly exhausted. "You're free to go. I've got better things to do then yell at you, or her. Just please stay with her until she closes up, and make sure she gets home, okay? As a personal favor. She'll make sure you have a bed and a roof."

Before he left, he gently patted Seth on the shoulder. It seemed like the gesture would say what he didn't know how to; that he understood Seth was lonely. He just couldn't let the other doppler take away the one person that was keeping him from feeling that way too.

Veera was wary of portals, yes. She hadn't liked it when Evander had conjured one, and she didn't like it now. But she had to show confidence and calm, not just for herself but for Aaron. "Keep your wits about you." She murmured to the man, letting him know that she wasn't completely okay with this; she just didn't see any other choice. He hadn't known the Crow for as long as she had, and she was well aware what would happen once he caught them. It made her realize, she didn't have an end game. Just kill as many as she could get away with, and then.....then she would see. But for now, she stepped through the portal, the words to draw up Aard on her lips, her hand on her silver sword. Just in case.

The smell of must was the first thing to greet her, along with the sight of rot, running along the walls. I wonder how stable this really is. She thought to herself, waiting for Aaron to come through before stepping forward, her back covered as she faced the
    mage. "This is the place?"

Teliana couldn't help but show surprise at Vyle's odd request. "Tea. You're serious?" She didn't think vampires could drink anything other then the crimson liquid they needed to survive. But, she had to admit to herself, she was woefully ignorant of most monsters and their ways of life. Or their habits. "It's not my house, it's Zach's....I don't think he would mind if I went to go see. Tea?" She asked again, as if her ears had deceived her. It just seemed like such a strange request, she would have laughed had not the look on Vyle's face been dead serious.

Tessa blinked in surprise at the stranger's question, then managed a smile as she nodded. "It's fine. It's just my brother." She and Bryce had long ago agreed that if anyone asked, they were siblings. In a world where many children were orphaned and adopted by parents other then their biological ones, it wasn't so strange to see two siblings so different. "He has a temper, I'm sorry, I hope he isn't disturbing you. I'll be right back with your order." As she hurried away, clutching the circular board to her chest, she heard some of Seth's statement, and stopped.

A way out? She could scarcely believe it. But then she looked at Bryce's face. Oh god. She hurried up to him, gently kicking the side of his boot with the toe of her own. "Bryce, take it outside. I have customers." She hissed, not at all excited for the outburst that was coming. "Get. Out."
She turned away from him and went back to the bar, grabbing a shot glass and sliding it towards
Callum with a muttered apology at forgetting it before. As she filled up the glass with Raymond's alcohol, she watched Bryce leave, her eyes lingering on Seth for a moment. Hopefully the walls would be thick enough to keep out the shouting. But if anyone could stand up to it, Seth would.

"Here you are." She set the glass down in front of
Raymond with her usual smile. "Just yell for me if you need anything else. I'm Tessa. You can just put the coin on the table when you're done."

The gods had seen fit for him not to die of an apoplexy in that moment. They must have somehow ensured it, because Bryce could swear he could feel the veins popping out of his neck. He couldn't even find the right words to express the sentiment he felt towards the other doppler. Anger? Resentment? Unadulterated rage? The last one sounded promising, but before he could start on a tirade, he felt a light pressure on the side of his boot. Tess. "Take it outside." She whispered, her eyes full of anxiety and stress. You have no idea how much stress you are to me too. "Seth. Outside." He said through gritted teeth, turning on his heel. "Now." He strode out without looking for the other man to follow. Seth had better follow, or Tessa be damned he would drag her home and lock her up until she had some sense beaten into her.

Why did she not get it? Why did she have to keep trying to find ways to disobey him? If the world had been kinder to them, he would let her go, but he knew once she did, she would never come back. And he wouldn't be able to take the guilt and heartbreak that would come with her disappearance. She was like his little sister, and in reality they were the closest thing to family each other had left. So why did she want to leave?

Remy (will get his own picture one day, I swear) backed up a step. This tiny girl was scary. He hadn't actually meant to hurt anyone, but now it looked like he was in deep trouble. The kind of trouble you have to use a bulldozer to get out of. "I um..I didn' mean anythin' by it, miss." He slipped into his southern drawl by accident, a habit that only came up when he got very nervous, or was threatened by tiny little star wielding girls.

"Uh...." was it too much to ask a kid to help a bro out? On second thought, as he glanced at
Sam's smirk, yes. Yes it was. "I promise, I didn' know there was a door there. I just got a little fired up, that's all." Was it hot in here? Shit he was hot. Sweating hot, not the good kind.

Then more people walked in. While he took a moment to appreciate the scantily clad girl, and notice the male behind her, most of his attention was claimed by the girl in front of him. Until a new threat filled the air.

"Shit." He swore, stepping towards the two strange talking people. While he wouldn't mind someone else fighting besides him, right now he got the feeling in his gut that if these two threw down, it wouldn't do anyone any good.

"Give the kid his star." He muttered to Tessa, reaching for his bo staff. He didn't push the button to extend it just yet, some things needed to be kept a surprise.

"We can argue about it later."

Tessa would gladly have railed against the newcomer some more. Her fighting comrades didn't seem in the mood to help her out any, and she was tired. She was confused. She was sore. And she needed a target for the pent up rage that no amount of fighting seemed to fix. But, she sighed, pulling her gloves on tighter as she handed back the throwing star to 'the kid'. "I'm Tessa." She introduced herself to him, figuring it wasn't his fault she had almost been killed by his weapon.

"Hey. Uh. Operator." She cautiously walked towards him, ignoring Remy's outstretched hand. The man could be damned for all she cared. "You need to calm down. If WE can't fight in the stasis room" Or have sex, said the voice in the back of her head, causing her to blush, "Then you have to be the example. Show us how to solve an argument. HE tried to kill ME." She pointed at Remy, who's mouth was once again happening open. "Does that mean I can kill him?"

She tried to lay a hand on his suit to grab his attention, but it was hot. She bit her lip, stifling a yelp as she stepped back, rubbing her gloved hand. "Is she really worth a fight?" She said in a lower voice to avoid the strange girl's attention.

Oooh so this kid was one of those. The smart ones that thought they could talk down to everyone. Remy shook his head, hand clenching around the ruined playcard. "That's all well and good, genius." He said scathingly. "But you forgot the value of sentimentality. Some things CAN'T be replaced because they have memories attached to them. Someone SPECIAL gave me this card. But you wouldn't know about that would you? Smart kid like you, bet you don't have any family left. Bet all you got is your smarts and your little stars. Well guess what? You can go play with your little stars over there then!" He turned and tossed the weapon, as hard as he could, towards the wall. It was better then punching the brat, anyway.

Except that, the wall was a door.

Tessa shoved at the door, creeped out by the weapon the Operator had offered them. Who the hell would take something an enemy used? Might as well take poison. Her thoughts were abruptly stopped as she heard shouting. "What the f-" The door opened, and she moved instinctively to the side, all train of thought cut off as her body recognized what her mind had not yet analyzed. She stumbled into whoever was behind her, grabbing at the side of the door for support as the air piercing object, now recognized as a throwing star, smacked into the wood where she had been standing.

"Sorry." She apologized briefly to whomever was behind her before yanking the weapon out of the wood-like substance, leaving a decent chip, and stalking into the room, gloved hand tightening around the star. "Who the hell throws weapons at a door?" She cried, her eyes zeroing in on the shocked face of the man in front of her. "Is this yours?!" She nearly shrieked, more unnerved then angry. She had nearly lost an eye at best, her life at worst, and she hadn't even been fighting!

    "What is wrong with you?!"

Tessa waited until Zack left her side before she let her hands shake. She stopped what she was doing and rubbed the knuckles, trying to give herself some sort of sense of ease. She was nervous. She was afraid. But she couldn't let her best friend see. Biting her lip, hard, to keep her emotions in check, she ignored the continued shaking of her hands and grabbed the basket and whatever else she could hold before going back to the king. She would do this and she would see it through.

Zack rubbed his hands through his hair, trying to remember. "Name sounds familiar....I think your dad helped me, once or twice. I was kind of..." Zack blushed as he rubbed his neck, embarrassed. "Wild. He was a good person. Your mom kind of scared me, but my mom loved her. My mom used to talk about you, and taking you in, but then my dad died, and well, she had her hands full with me." He shrugged. "I remember your mom had really pretty hair. My mom was always talking about it, and how jealous she was."

Veera let out an accidental yelp when the commander threw her to the ground, rotating his shoulder with a grimace. She lay where she had fallen, trying to breath through what could only be described as a great amount of pain. Just breathe through it. Just let it go. And she tried, she really did.

"Take her to another room. I want to talk to this kid alone, while we have a few minutes. Keep her undamaged though. I want the rest of her, if he's lying." The smile he gave was neither pleasant, or promising of anything good in her future. As she was dragged away, she struggled to meet Drake's eyes one time, just in case it was the last. Because she had no intention of going down without a fight.

"I'm sorry." she silently apologized, mouthing the words before letting the two scouts take her from the room. Her vision blurred, and she wasn't entirely sure of where they were going, but it was outside. She could hear voices, overhead. Now. Her gut told her. Do it now. And she did, surging upward in a wave of pain and adrenaline to knock one scout off her feet. She grabbed the sword with her arm, forgetting that it was useless and swearing to all the gods as she dropped it to the ground before following it down as the other scout grabbed for her hair. "That's not nice." She gritted her teeth and punched him in the throat, letting him drop to eye level with her. As they both struggled to breathe, and stared at one another, she felt sweat drip down her forehead. Not at all how she had planned on escaping.

Remy stopped, staring at his perforated card, its sides curling up against the wall. His heart practically, but not really, broke as he pulled the star from the wall, and caught the ruined spade before it drifted to the ground. "You....asshole." He breathed out, clenching his hand around the broken form before turning to face the kid. "What. The. Fuck." There was only one of those cards, one of each card, in his deck, and they were each as irreplaceable as kittens. Baby kittens. With blue eyes.

"I'm sorry, did I not say it loud enough?" Remy approached the kid and slammed his hand with the card against the wall, bearing down on the smaller boy. "What. The. FUCK?!"

He was half tempted to rip the book out of the kid's hands, but the little amount of self control he had held him back. How would you like it, you little shit?

The magic that hummed off this man's skin was so intense Veera could practically taste it. She held up two fingers, hoping that Aaron would understand the signal to shh. They didn't need to start an argument with this mage; time was not on their side. While Aaron brought up good points, she was confident enough in herself that she figured they could escape the strange man, if not intact then at least with most of their limbs. And even if that didn't work, and the fight caused Veceslav to catch up to them, well he would be preoccupied with the mage, and still give them time to escape.

"Your offer doesn't sound appealing, but we don't have much choice." She decided, letting her hand rest on the silver blade at her back. "However, if this is a trap, or you're not being honest, we won't hesitate to cut you down." Men like this could smell fear, and she refused to show it. She hadn't been afraid in a long time, and she wouldn't let that streak be cut down by some random mage.

    "Lead the way."

Teliana, instead of answering, sat down on the grass, spreading her skirts around her legs so they wouldn't get tangled if she had to move in a hurry. "Not all humans are selfish shits." she responded to his earlier statement first, letting her eyes drift across the sleeping form of the werewolf. In truth, she wasn't sure she could call herself human. She wasn't mortal, at least not in the sense they were. Fire was her friend, her lover, and her soulmate. No human could claim the same. She wouldn't age as they did, and was stronger then even the bravest soldier in the army. Yet, she still felt as they did, still mourned and loved and angered. Maybe that's why we're all so cynical. Her lip curled at the hidden joke. Maybe we don't even understand what we are. It would certainly make Yana's predicaments and tempers more sensible.

She wasn't so lost in her philosophical meanderings that she didn't remember to reply to the rest of
Vyle's statement. "I'll stay out here. It's not his fault, he's this way. I take responsibility for my failed potion, and thus I will remain responsible for watching over him to make sure he hurts no others." Her stomach tightened as she recalled her brush with death, but she shook it off. She saw death every day, and it would come for her eventually. She only hoped she could greet it like a friend instead of struggling to stay out of its arms.

Tessa brushed off Seth's offer of payment with a short wave. "Just don't cause any trouble." She started to say when Callum muttered something suspiciously sassy under his breath. As tempted as she was to take the contents of his mug and dump it over his head, he finished the drink surprisingly quick. Oh right...witchers. How could she forget, with those yellow eyes?

    In response to
Callum's question, she grabbed a bottle of whiskey and shoved it at him. "That's all I got. Drink it all and you pay for it all." In truth, she had been saving that bottle for a long time, special ordered by a customer who had never come back for it. She stared down at the counter she was scrubbing, wondering what happened to the man, when Bryce walked in the door. Uh oh.

Bryce sighed with relief at the sight of the small girl behind the bar, then narrowed his eyes as he took in both Seth and Callum being served. Well...that wasn't all that he had planned. "I would ask for an explanation, but I'm not sure I would like it." His voice was low, the tone a signal that he was angry. Tessa's shoulders hunched, and she started scrubbing the already clean surface as if her life depended on it.

Bryce walked up to the bar, his normally smiling face solemn. "What exactly is this rumor that I hear about you bargaining with a witcher," at this his gaze flicked to
Callum before back to Tessa, "about leaving this city. With him?" It took all of his restraint not to yell. There were other customers in here, after all. Tessa bit her lip and slunk around him to the newcomer in the back, where she asked his order. Bryce stopped and rubbed the bridge of his nose, exasperated. She just doesn't think, she doesn't understand. How can I make her? And how could he, short of showing her the mutilated bodies of their brothers and sisters, the burned corpses in the town squares and the wanted posters on every corner? What was he supposed to do, short of locking her up?

Zack wandered around Oxenfurt, his head still aching slightly from the remnants of the hangover. Such a dumb idea. Why did I do that? He couldn't go back home, he knew that much. Even if the witcher let him go, there wasn't any guarantee that he didn't send cohorts back to the house to check for other dopplers. Zack felt a moment of guilt for the fellows he had left behind, but shook it off, increasing the headache. They were smart, and they stayed on guard. They would have a better chance of surviving if he didn't make contact.

    So...what to do now?

So he was paired with Rogue, huh? Well alright. He glanced at said girl before reaching into his pocket for his cards, slipping one between each of his fingers. It wasn't even a thought process anymore, so much as an instinctive habit. He kept his hand in the pocket, to keep them hidden. The other went for his bo staff, wrapping around the familiar handle as he nearly sighed in relief. It wasn't that he was afraid of the fight. He didn't mind violence, or gore, he had grown up with it. What he minded was the aftermath.

"You ready for this, darlin'?" He asked his newly named partner, twirling the staff with the one hand just to soothe himself. Anticipation was always the worst part.

Selina narrowed her eyes at Arsenal's departure, her gaze calculating. She knew that look, oh yes she did. It was one she hadn't worn until very recently. Involving someone special. You're gonna need a lot of liquor to drown that guilt, my young friend. She sighed, twiddling her fingers after his retreating back in an act meant for good luck before turning to the rest of the group, taking her coiled whip from her belt.

"It sounds like it's playtime, then." She said smoothly, running her fingers along the braided rope. She appreciated
Cyclops not giving her orders (he seemed like the ordering around type) and while she would have taken his thought into consideration (very little consideration), it was much more thoughtful that he let her do her own thing.

Biting her lip, she turned on her heel and strode back into the shadows, nearly quivering with excitement. Finally, this cat would have some toys to play with.

Sara felt her stomach tighten when the gun pointed her direction. Would he do it? She was back to square one, and it was a bad square to be on. But then, he exited the cell, the door closing with a thunk that made her spirits sink a little. As he braced himself, she went slowly to the bars of her cage, wrapping her hands around them as she watched. She didn't fail to see the irony of her thought process ( a Canary in a cage, ha ha ha), but now was not the time. Had she managed to do the damage needed? She didn't know how to tell. This wasn't exactly in the "Saving the World" manual she had read up on before starting this adventure.

Her bruised ribs throbbed, but she refused to hold them, refused to show any weakness. He was leaving now, going somewhere. Panic rose inside her chest, and her ribs protested as her breathing began to fluctuate.

No...remember your training. Despite that, she shouted after
Ranger VI, managing barely to keep the pain from her voice. "Don't let him control you! Fight it!" She could think of nothing else to say.

Tessa glanced over at Zack as she grabbed the various things the animals were bringing, with the intent of washing them free of grime and dirt. Wouldn't it be just typical of her luck if she were to get sick from eating bad fruit, and die from dysentery before even seeing a Titan? As she worked, using a spare bucket and some clean water that appeared from the apparatus rigged in the kitchen for such purposes, she nudged Zack with her elbow. "Go talk to her. We got this." She didn't look at Gale as she spoke, feeling more then a little intimidated at the thought of having to do so. "It's okay." She said for what felt like the millionth time that day, giving her older friend a reassuring smile before turning her attention back to the task at hand.

Zack followed his friend's advice, albeit a bit grudgingly, before sticking his hands in his pockets and strolling over to Adelina. She was talking to someone who looked vaguely familiar, but with the whirlwind that had been this day Zack couldn't place him. He waited patiently, hands a little sweaty inside his pockets, for her to be done and notice him. While he waited, he felt another twinge of guilt as he thought back to Tessa. She was nervous, but she was in good hands. Or so he hoped. Dammit nothing would happen to her. They would get in, get Drake and Veera, and get out. With the king at her side, and Gale and Karen, she would be okay. She would have to be.

Kala crept along next to the princess, bringing to mind that of a panther stalking the shadows. She grinned at the thought, perhaps she and the princess were meant to be friends for a reason. "It looks like the coast is clear. The struggle is trying to find them." She could probably sense their life force, but trying to keep them apart from the rest of the fo-humans in this place would be a bit more of a challenge. Flame was different. She was like a sun of life next to the itty bitty stars that were the rest of the human race. Adelina....Adelina was like an entire galaxy. Damn fairies. She cursed to herself as her mouth watered at the thought. Get out of my head.

"It may be prudent to try and question someone where the hostages were taken. Tell them we're reinforcements." She whispered. If they resisted..well....she was thirsty, and if Flame was ever going to find out about her issue, it would be better if it was after she saved the princess's life, or that of her friend's.

I've decided to officially leave the Fairy Tail RP. I wish you all the best, and I've removed Tessa from the plot so there will be no complications.

Tessa brushed away the tears and hugged him back, patting his back gently before letting go. She couldn't draw this out much longer or she would begin to second guess herself, and not for the first time. "I'm sure we'll see each other around." She smiled up at him confidently. Perhaps just not in this life. But there was always next time. There always would be a next time, she was sure of it.

"I hope you have all the good luck in the world at your side." She tugged on one of the strands of his hair gently before turning away, hesitating just a moment before putting one foot forwards, and then the other. With each step, it was simultaneously harder and easier to walk away. Away from Skadi, who had been her first friend here. Away from Alessia, who had been so kind and protective of Tessa's weak natrue. Away from Damian, who had been so forgiving, and Leo and Silvia, (she silently wished them the best). Away from Thea, who had been so strange and sad, and Vance, whom she wouldn't miss at all, and all the others who had stopped by to talk to her or say kind words in some way.

Away from Conrad, who had been her friend through it all. She turned and waved at him once more, smiling despite her tears, before turning and letting her feet fall on the dusty path, off towards her new future. "I'll miss you guys." She murmured, before vanishing into the horizon.

Tessa glanced up, feeling eyes upon her. Conrad watched from a safe distance, and she half smiled before standing straight, walking over to him as she wrapped her arms around herself. "So...I've been thinking." she bit her lip, staring at the ground in an effort to keep her eyes from tearing up. "I've been thinking about that promise I made you. About me staying and watching over you. I don't think I can keep that promise." Tessa shuffled; she had never been good with this kind of thing. "You're a sweet person, and you've done so much for me, and it's awful for me to do this but..."
She took a deep breath, steeling herself. Don't turn back. "I think I need to go. Away. I don't think this place is right for me."

Tessa shrank back from the strange weapon. "Never trust something you find off an enemy." She wasn't sure who had told that particular verse to her, but it struck a cord with her now. "Not me." She turned, and without another word, headed towards the doors that the weapon had revealed. She didn't need anything other then herself to survive.

Meanwhile in the break room (it had a name, he just couldn't remember, or really give a damn about remembering) Remy flipped one of his cards. An ace to be exact. To be even more exact, the ace of spades. Why? He didn't know. Just tossed it up, watching it slowly turn sideways in the air, before falling back down, to fit perfectly between his middle and index finger. Over, and over, and over he did this. Why, you ask? He was bored. Remy had been promised glory, fighting, and there might have been an offer of a woman or two in there, and here he was. Tossing the ace of spades up and down, waiting for the promises. With his luck, this might turn out to be a slaver ring. Ah well, he could still get everything they promised. With a little more gore as a side special.
