Yay for getting older, right? Happy birthday! I hope it's everything you want.
It's a little weirder since I should probably know who you are and have no clue. Matter of fact, who am I?
So......how about that Laker's game?
Magick, reporting for duty!
Veera looked up, and blinked. She hadn't even heard the other girl enter the room. "Um...yeah, if you know what you're doing. I guess I don't, really." Veera admitted sheepishly, looking back at her shoulder. "I just tried to mimic what the doctor did, but...." She paused as a second girl entered the room, and bowed to them. "Uh....shi[plain]t." Veera tried to reciprocate the gesture from her position on the toilet. "Nice to meet both of you. I'm Veera. Um....I guess we're roommates then?" It was a strange concept, to be taken from her normal life and tossed onto a death island game, only to be yanked from there and put here. She dearly hoped they didn't have to kill each other. "It's been a long time since I've had roommates."
Light weight.
Yup.
Veera wandered through what seemed like endless hallways until she somehow ended up in the dorms. With a sigh at her creator's laziness, she pulled out what appeared to be the room key and shoved it into the lock, twisting before grabbing the knob and opening the door roughly. She looked at very little in the room, other then noticing that there were more then one bed, and the room appeared to be symmetrical in shape and furniture. Heading into the single bathroom, she yanked open the medicine cabinet, and with a soft sigh of relief, yanked off her shirt with one arm while grabbing the wrapping bandages with her injured arm. Very carefully, she sat on the toilet and began to attempt to reconstruct the supportive tape that the physical therapist had done. Teriana groaned in pain as she lay on the floor. When the strange man had yelled and screamed, charging down the hallway like a hormone crazed bull, she had tried to instinctively cook him with a shield of fire. Of course, it hadn't worked, and now she lay in a collapsed heap on the ground. Charming. Pushing herself off the ground, she glared in the direction of the apparently crazed man before getting to her feet, tossing her hair over her shoulder. Now that that was out of the way, she turned and looked for the way to the dorms. She really needed to see if there was a way to change out of the now scandalously ripped clothing, before something else happened. The walk to the dorms was short, and luckily for her, she only had to try the key in two doors before the second opened. She stood in the doorway for a moment before shutting the door with a quick click, and strolling to one of the dressers, yanking it open. Thank god. She yanked off her school shirt and blouse before pulling on the larger sized blouse, breathing a sigh of relief. Now she was covered and in proper attire. "Great." Tessa replied as she followed Ze Operator, key clutched tightly in hand. Unlike her soul sister with an injured shoulder, she had no idea which room was hers, or how to go about finding out. Did they just try every lock and hope the key opened the right one? She was about to voice this opinion to Ze Operator, when she looked down at the floor. And noticed everyone either lying on the ground, or getting up from the ground. What on earth had happened? "Um....Maybe we should just go to the dorms." She suggested to her companion, eyeing the other "students" nervously. Whatever had happened here, she didn't want to stick around for a repeat. How do we know which room is ours?" She asked, then blushed. "I didn't mean ours, but, you know. Which one is mine, and which one is yours." Awkward.
Guess what? Spoiler It's Friday Now who wants to go out and have a good time?

Now this is what you need staring at you while you sleep.
Honestly this trend is starting to become quite scary. Most of the college campuses I have attended have no way of keeping the schools gun free (hell they can't even manage to keep the dorms drug free), so it's really up to the mentality of the student population. While I'm thankful that it's not as bad as Oregon, the incidents are too closely paced together for me to help but wonder if they're totally unrelated. I hope someone can figure out a solution. I hope all of you guys who do attend campus school are staying as safe as you can.
They had arrived some time in the night. It was a three bedroom cabin out in the middle of the woods, with a large lake in walking distance. Teliana had been surprised more people hadn't tried to escape here. Perhaps they had already gotten sick. Perhaps they were scared. Or perhaps, as the radio broadcasts had been suggesting, they were following a man called Noah something. He sounded like a kook, and Ana had turned the radio off before Veera had stopped moping and actually started paying attention. As much as Ana knew Veera wasn't a child, she couldn't help but be the overprotective sister. Now, she tossed her backpack onto the musty quilt before opening a window to let some of the fresh air in. It was quiet, and peaceful out here. She could only hope it would stay that way. Veera was busy sweeping the main interior of the cabin. It had a bathroom for each bedroom, but the building itself was based on one floor, making it relatively easier to clean. Ana had cautioned her against opening too many windows, in case of an emergency. What kind of emergency her older sister was thinking of, Veera didn't know. Ana had always been made for the apocalypse; reading survival guides and manuals and keeping the med and emergency kits stocked. In this situation, she knew more, and Veera listened. It just didn't make it any easier that Ana didn't tell Veera exactly what they should be afraid of. Or how mom and dad were doing. She wondered as she swept if she should try to call them. Mom had promised to send them a text if things had changed, but that had been days ago. Surely they would be getting better, on their way home now? They would be worried if they got back and the two girls weren't there. Teliana will take care of it. Veera told herself as she finished sweeping the dust out into the night air before shutting the door. Ana came out to help her lock up, before both siblings retired to their rooms. Neither of them got any sleep. Zack found an overpass, and crept into the smallest area he could before falling asleep. The cement may have bothered him at one point, but those days were long gone. Now, he only needed to slow his breathing before he passed out, legs aching from exhaustion and his brain only too happy to go to the happy life that only remained in his dreams.
