Tessa blinked, momentarily disoriented by the debris falling into her hair like snowflakes. Did it snow inside? No....She looked down, and immediately turned the brightest shade of red that one could imagine. Stumbling to her feet and struggling to rearrange her clothing, she couldn't look at any of her team mates for fear of the shame she felt. "Oh god....Alexis I'm so sorry. I didn't mean it. I mean you're beautiful and everything, but I couldn't take advantage of you like that...or I thought I couldn't..." She backed up, heart racing as she pressed her hands to her face for a moment. What was I about to do? "I'm so sorry." She apologized again before bolting up some of the stairs, just far enough that she could press her hot face against the cold stone and let her shaking legs calm themselves before the others found her. Weak. She told herself, slamming her fist against the wall. You're so f*cking weak.

    Level 6
Tessa breathed a sigh of relief and slumped against the cold stone of the tower as the boss finally fell. Lancelot crouched beside her, obviously concerned, before sighing himself. "I apologize, my lady, but I must leave now. The battle has been won, and well fought. I couldn't ask for a better mistress." He knelt, bowing his head before disappearing in a puff of pixels. Tessa leaned her head back and shut her eyes, well aware that she was probably perspiring in both real life and the game. Her clothing certainly felt damp with it anyway. She had gained six levels, and it was clearly taking its toll on her. Gun Game had never been this demanding....well..there had been that one time she and Bryce had gone up against those mercenaries. She chuckled to herself as her gun slid to her side, the barrel hot against her skin.

    Speaking of Bryce......

    Level 6
Just as all hope seemed lost for Emma, Bryce turned. Having been rejected by Magic Boy, as he now referred to the rude person in his mind, he turned his thoughts back to his battle comrade, and almost too late, it seemed. She had gotten separated from him, whether by her own design or his carelessness, and was now separated from her summon as well.
Damn girls. He ran towards her with abandon, swinging like the awesome guy he was to charge through the elites and send them flying to the side as he reached her hopefully in the nick of time. Just as he charged through, the boss fell with a crashing sound behind him, and the enemies around them disappeared in small clouds of pixels as he turned to look. Was it finally over? His thoughts strayed to Tessa for a moment, before he turned to look at the girl in front of him. God, if she was hurt, Tessa would never let him hear the end of it. Boudica huffed a goodbye before disappearing herself, muttering about men and only being able to think with one head at a time. At least, that was what it sounded like.

"Veera. Veera Dorson." She responded to the young girl's question, looking them over once more. They're just kids....She hoped they weren't looking to her for a decision. An adult she may be, but she had no idea how she had gotten here, or how to get out. One thing was for sure, however. "I guess we should start walking, then." She suggested, getting to her feet. "You're hungry, I'm tired, and he's probably hungry too." She nodded at the little boy. "Maybe try to use the way you two found me to get us out of here?" It only made her feel a little guilty that she hadn't found the kids before they had found her. But hey, she felt like she had been here forever. It wasn't as if she had known kids were in here. Maybe she would have looked a little harder.

Then again.....maybe not. The darkness was endless, after all, and there didn't appear to be any form of light coming to them any time soon.

Ana tried to sit up as Aedion's voice reached back to her ears, but the bouncing of the horse proved too much, and she was once more hunched over in an attempt to keep from falling into the dirt. "I'm still on the horse. Does that count?" She yelled back, her knuckles white around the saddle horn. She dearly hoped the ride would be over soon. It would totally be worth it to walk back and leave the animal behind. Not that she blamed the animal for her clumsiness or inadequacy. She just simply didn't think her body could handle any more of this.

Kala tapped the papers against her chin, pretending to be considering the offer to stall for time. In reality, she had already made her decision. She would do whatever it took to gain the knowledge these reports contained. "If I must, then I must. But I will not be treated like a common slave. And if it can be helped, I would rather not kill that interesting man, the one called Hunter. I wish to test my skills against him in battle first. Only then can I let him die." She added, her lips spreading into a grin even as the words left her mouth.

Tessa followed Neoph, Yu, and the newcomer known as Adrian silently. She wasn't used to speaking to others when on the prowl. In fact, the noise rather disturbed her. Once they had landed, she kept an arrow read in her hand, knocked against the bow string, which had been tightened in order to help provide the maximum amount of accuracy. She could sense there was darkness here, and it made the skin on the back of her neck tingle. "Something evil is here." She whispered to herself, her eyes on the dark forest. The trees would make it hard for her to cover the other members, but she would do her best to ensure they returned safely. Hopefully all of them, anyway.

Teriana frowned, confused by his words. "But if the person who wanted to hurt you was watching the cave, would they not have covered all entrances? Come to think of it, wouldn't they have stopped me from entering in the first place?" Ana shrugged, rearranging her basket. "You are most welcome William Snow. I hope you return the kindness to someone in need. But I will be returning the way I came. I have no fear of the people who tread the dark. It is they who should fear me." She said with a grim smile before turning away and heading back up into the caves.
"Best of luck to you, and may the gods grace your journey."

"Mmmm. Traveling." She decided on the safe answer. "You might be better off looking down the other side of the street for the better women." She added, pointing further down the road. She herself had spent many a decent night at the brothels down there, and never been mistreated. Well...she had been once, but that was only because she asked, and paid, for it.
"I wonder, Hunter, if you're in the same line of work as I. If you're up for a little competition. Winner picks the prize." She grinned beneath her cowl, carefully keeping her eyes lowered. This could be fun.

Kara cringed inwardly as the man dislocated his shoulder with an audible pop. Gods above, I hate that trick. She had mastered it, as was expected of her before going out on her own, but she hated using it. Hated the sound, the feeling, the vulnerability. As he began to cut at her bonds, she tensed when the cold of the blade touched her skin briefly. It wasn't the most of unpleasant experiences, and held a certain thrill to it, but the danger of a strange man behind her with a dagger was too much for her to ignore. Thankfully, her ropes fell away without further incident, and she rubbed her wrists with a sigh of relief, trying to chafe the circulation back into them.
"Thank you, Thomas. I purpose we get the hell out of here. Whatever they mean for us, it can't be good."

So they were in a school, with no teacher....and it was utter chaos. Okay. Veera stood up, hand still pressed to her shoulder, key clutched tightly in the other hand before wandering out of the room and into the hall. She looked left, and then right. There were people out here, but she didn't have business with them, and they seemed....preoccupied. There has to be a nurse's office. Bandaging, or a sling. What she really needed was an amputation, but she doubted there was anyone here skilled enough to do so without making several bad mistakes that could lead to her death. Vital arteries for one thing.
She turned left and walked down the hallway, following the twisting and turning walls for several steps before halting. What if she got lost? Perhaps there was an exit. Perhaps perhaps perhaps. But first, the nurse's office. A new throbbing in her shoulder set her off with renewed purpose. Then maybe the apartments. She doubted there was first aid there.

Teriana sighed, standing up. She wasn't a fan of the magic-less atmosphere, much less the clothing. Her peasant wear hadn't been the best, but it had at least given her bust area some more room to breath. She huffed experimentally, nearly panicking when her lungs felt like they couldn't expand the entire way. Well that just wouldn't do at all. She tugged at the collar, trying to pull it open. Nothing happened. A sharper tug, and it felt like the buttons might give way. A third, and the apparently fragile clothing ripped, revealing a fairly indecent amount of her cleavage. She looked down at her chest with a sigh, one that was mixed with equal amounts of frustration and relief. I hope there are no children in here. she thought to herself as she crossed her arms over her chest in an attempt to cover up most of the damage. At least she could breathe. Just then an announcement came from over head, causing her to jump.

A loudspeaker. Some memory in her brain surfaced, telling her what it was. She decided to let go of the confusion, for now, and simply go along with whatever this place had in mind. So this key is to an.."apartmant". A home. Great. She hoped she wouldn't have any uninvited houseguests. She turned and walked out the door, hoping she was going in the right direction.

Tessa looked up, her green eyes reflecting her surprise. Deep down, she was relieved to find a familiar face, even if it was the strange cyborg man. "Hi...Do you have any idea what's going on?" She looked down at the strange key in her hand before clenching her fist around it once more, squirming in the school girl outfit. She was much too old to be wearing something like this again. "The last thing I remember, we were at the Tower....is this part of the levels?" Somehow, she didn't think it was. But she hoped she still managed to retain some of her powers. She didn't want to go into a fight completely defenseless. "Are you gonna go to the apartments too?" She asked after the announcement came over the loudspeaker, standing up and turning to face Ze Operator.

    HalloweenTown
Tessa stumbled for a second before finding her voice again. "Um...well yeah. That's bad, I should be the prettiest. Because...because I'm doing the hardest job and ruling the kingdom. Um....I need my Huntsman. Can he please show up now?" She asked, clenching her hands in the hem of her shirt tightly.

    Meanwhile, Back at the Batcave
Tessa stood still, numb. She had f*cked up, and f*cked up bad. Her vision narrowed to a very small circle, and her breath came fast and quick. Tears threatened to form, causing her already screwed vision to swim as she sank to the ground, her feet unable to support her any longer. "I.....I" she swallowed past the lump in her throat, her mouth incredibly dry. There was a pounding in her ears; whether it was her heart or the blood in her brain she couldn't say, as she tried to think of an appropriate response. Was there an appropriate response?

"S-s-so-" She was cut off by Conrad saying he wasn't mad at her. Oh gods. She wanted to run, and at the same time stay. She wanted to make sure Conrad would be okay, and get away from her mistake. But no matter how much she wanted to go, her legs wouldn't have carried her anyway. Whether it was her emotional outburst, the use of magic, or her own guilt finally making her face the consequences of her actions, she couldn't move.
"Sorry." She whispered before hiding her face in her hands, keeping the flow of tears silent, and to herself.

Catwoman (From the video game Batman: Arkham City): A young thief caught in between her own plans and those of the forces moving around, Selina Kyle has yet to choose a side, though she might be swayed either way.
Abilities: She is an extremely acrobatic martial artist, has night vision goggles that help her...well...be a thief, and her gadgets include her famous whip, caltrops, and bolas.

Canary (From the TV series Arrow): Presumed dead,(Don't look if you're not at least through some of season 2 of Arrow)
    Sara Lance
joined the League of Assassins in order to train her body and mind in order to become stronger. She has since left the League, joining with the Justice Avengers in order to combat the coming evil.
Abilities: Canary is an expert martial artist and free runner. She carries a pair of batons that can be fused together to form a bo-staff, giving her short and long range attacks. She posses advanced skills in archery and other melee weapons, but only uses this when necessary and a weapon is accessible.

Talia Al Ghul (From the video game Batman: Arkham City):
Second in Command of the League of Assassins, Talia has long accepted her father's catastrophic decisions of genocide and other equally bad things. They have decided to throw in their lot with Ultron, in an effort to keep the secret for immortality between the two of them.
Abilities: Talia is a brilliant tactician, and an expert marksman, though she prefers the art of swordsmanship to anything else. She has been trained in stealth and combat by the League of Assassins, making her one of the best if you need someone "taken care of".

Gambit (From X-Men Evolution): Remy Lebeau has been on and off the streets, and in and out of trouble. He left his past as a thief behind in order to help the Justice Avengers combat the forces of evil, because, underneath all that charm, he really is a good guy.
Abilities: Gambit has the ability to take the potential energy stored in an object and convert it to pure light, pink-colored, kinetic energy, thus “charging” that item with highly-explosive results. He can charge larger objects, but this takes more time then it would with his favorite playing cards. He is also quite good with his bo-staff.

Tessa squealed as she was pulled down, blushing furiously as her hand tightly grabbed at Alexis' to keep some form of contact. "Um....Yeah I guess I don't quite know what to do." she admitted, nervously running her hands along Alexis' body. The other girl was muscular but soft at the same time, and Tessa found herself entranced by the curves and contours of her body. They were so similar and yet, so different.
Shane seemed quite busy focusing on Alexis, and Tessa was happy to do the same. As much as she had an idea to. She blushed as she stroked the hair away from Alexis' face before offering a shy smile and turning to Zephyr. "Come on." She called softly, gently.

Can I claim Catwoman from the Arkham City video game, and the Canary from the Arrow TV series. Also, although she isn't specifically a hero, Talia al Ghul from Batman: Arkham City. Also Gambit as well, from X-Men evolution.

Once I get the okay, I'll post the rest of the stuff.

Veera screamed as she shot upright, slamming against the cold hard surface of the desk. She grabbed her shoulder, moaning for a second before blinking, looking up. She wasn't falling back into sand, about to be stabbed. It appeared she was no longer in the strange game that had dropped her onto an island, but neither was she at home, or at her job. She was in a classroom. But this didn't look like any classroom she had ever been in for class lecture. She hunched over, biting her lip to stifle the groan that nearly passed her lips as her shoulder throbbed once more. The last thing she remembered, she had been about to die, a knife sliding in through the soft skin of her chest. Had that been a dream? Her hand clenched the surface of the desk, closing around a small cold object. She stared down at the key in surprise, dread filling her. Was this another sick game?

Ana left her head pressed down on the desk. She had already heard someone exclaim that there was no magic, and as her hair pooled around her face, she felt her chest tighten. What was this strange dream? She obviously had tested one of her spells for herself, to no avail. She was literally helpless without her magic, and now she was regretting not taking that handsome swordsman up on learning how to fight. She opened her eyes and stared at the key in front of her, the small metallic object only bringing curiosity and fear into her heart. If this was not a dream, but a curse, how could she lift it? She had never aspired to be more then a simple sorceress, and while she didn't appreciate a peasant life as much as she should, she now wished that she could have. These strange clothes tugged at her body, and she sat up, her eyes cold as she stared about the room. None appeared familiar to her, and it darkened her thoughts a little more.

Tessa had the key clenched tightly in her hand. She hoped they didn't have to try and use cooperation to find the right one or something. She grimaced, rolling her shoulders before staring straight ahead, determined. If it came down to it, she would pummel every last one of these saps until she got the right one and got out. She needed to get back to the Tower, to the money and the knowledge and finding her father....She slammed her hand down on her own desk, cracking the surface with one gloved fist. "Goddammit!" She swore, gritting her teeth in anger. She had been close, so close.......

Tessa was wary of the newcomer, enough so that she had stumbled back, nearly knocking into Alexis. "Sorry." She apologized, grabbing the other girl's shoulder to steady herself. Alexis' Sexual Inducement, which seemed to statically charge the air before, now electrified it as if Alexis had focused her attention on the other girl. Tessa's head spun with fantasies and desire, and she quickly yanked her hand off the other girl, blushing with the force of the sexual tension that suddenly filled the space between them.

"Um....um, you're really pretty, you know?" Tessa muttered, biting her lip as her blush spread from her cheeks down her neck. The thoughts weren't going away why weren't they going away. She imagined them on the floor, against the wall, honestly whatever surface was available. And as uncomfortable as it made her, she couldn't deny that she was tantalized by the idea. "I mean, like, really really pretty." Her poor brain tried to clarify, itself stumbling from the assault Alexis' powers were having on her.

Veera was really close to Novigrad all along, despite whatever her creator might have said while either drunk or confused. As she walked through the city gates, head held tall, the guards didn't question her. How could they, with her yellow eyes catching the sunlight and the medallion glinting? She was called to higher authorities then they were, and she didn't answer to the laws of men unless it suited her.

Which it did, but that wasn't the point. She walked along the cobblestone streets of the massive, city, keeping her wits about her as she strolled, seemingly enjoying the sights of the biggest population gathering of men in the north.
A walk by the docks would suit her just fine, she decided, turning left and gracefully making her way down to the wharf. The creaking of ships and the smell of the salt water always calmed her. And it was as good a place as any to start looking.

Zack mumbled and tried to grab the glass back, unable to form a coherent sentence as he looked back at the man who had dared to severe his only connection with a painless past time. And froze. Yellow irises with cat pupils stared at him, rooting him to the spot. There was only one creature on heaven and earth that carried eyes like those. Witcher. Zack's senses were too dulled to act sensibly, but he at least carried enough that he didn't draw his dagger. Instead he stood stock still, frightened beyond words, certain that his time had come.

Teliana frowned, confused when William jumped into the water. After a moment, she understood, and extinguished the flame in her hands. "Ah, I apologize. I did not understand." She stood, brushing off her skirts and picking up her basket to let it rest on her hip, staring out at the water. "So...no idea, huh? That's strange." She hummed to herself, thinking as she gazed at the calm liquid. "Well, if you don't mind, I'll be on my way now. You look much better then you did before, and the way to the entrance of the cave is clear. No monsters or anything." Now that she thought about it, she wondered if the voices she thought she heard echoing against the walls were that of a passing villager, or of an explorer. She deeply hoped it was the former. William was likely still recovering from his ordeal, and she didn't want to deal with the drama of an overexcited adventurer challenging her to a fight or trying to assault her. Both ended in the smell of cooked meat and ruined clothing.

"Why are you so friendly to everyone, Tessa?" Griffin sounded so sad as he pushed the plate back to her that Tessa stopped eating, setting her silverware down and looking at him gently. "I guess I think that everyone deserves a little kindness, at least. I would want to be treated the same way." She looked down at her plate, and sighed. "Well, I think the training will start when Zack and I finished eating. So....here." Tessa pushed her plate back to him. "There's a door to a closet back there. I'll guard it and you eat. I'm not stupid. You hide your face. I don't get why, but that's okay. Just eat before you come with us, or you'll be too weak to help us, okay?" Tessa waited, hoping he would take the food at least. Regardless of whether he chose the closet as a hiding spot or not was another story.

Zack also set down his silverware, but for a different reason. He blushed when Adelina committed to their date that night, and then watched with amazement and admiration as the little bird fed itself right next to her, and well....him. "That's awesome." He breathed, afraid to move in case the little animal got frightened and fled. "Can you do that all the time?" He asked, watching as the bird took flight and escaped out the open window.

Veera turned to face Flame, smiling gratefully at the ruler in training as she hid her face carefully and followed her direction. "They still hurt, but I think they're doing well." She responded. "Thank you, you're a great friend. I would never have escaped if it wasn't for you." She hoped it was enough to keep their true purpose here hidden as she carefully listened to the old man's explanation of what happened, and Drake's excuse. She sighed with relief, hoping that this would be the end and they could escape....or at least get away from whoever had called her name.

Tessa watched in what appeared to be slow motion as Conrad jumped in front of her intended victim. She tried to reach out and grasp the tornado of air, but it was gone now, far beyond her reach as it hurtled towards the man. She could only watch in horror, and hope that the damage wasn't too great, or that Conrad would move. Vance was out of the way now, leaving only Conrad to face the storm.
"MOVE!" She screamed, her heart jumping into her throat as her stomach twisted.

Tessa, from the moment she had conceived the idea of anger, understood what it was, how to control it, and how it happened, had always kept a tight lid on her emotions. She had never allowed herself to explode into a whirlwind of fury, or dissolve into tears. Everything had been cautiously contained. Until now.
She had been able to keep herself controlled while he had spoken. It was degrading and annoying and a little hurtful, but she had done the same to him. And then he said the h-word.
And he knew not what he had done. Memories of her father, arguing with her mother, gesturing at her, yelling. The arguments hadn't been common, but they had been bad. Most of them, she blocked out. But the one that remained, was when her father had used that word. And her mother had broken down into tears. The next thing Tessa knew, the house had been destroyed, her parents were gone, and she was alone.
    All because of that word.
She stepped back, her body moving instinctively as she slammed her palms together before turning them to face outwards, her arms pressed against each other as the air radiated around her. The blast of wind that whirled around her stilled for a moment as she focused her energy in the direction of her palms; on Vance.
She didn't care how illogical this was, she didn't care about the damage or the rules or any of that. All she wanted to do, was take her anger and pain out on something tangible. And that tangible thing had just called her a hussy.
"YOU SON OF A BIT-" The rest of her words were cut off as the air roared to life, starting at her feet and spinning in a frenzied motion around her body, twisting the ends of her hair before shooting off her arms and towards her intended target.
