Yoooo I need at least five people to fill out a survey for a class. Don't worry, it's super easy, it's about movies and we're all nerds.

    1. What image do you conjure up when you hear the word Fantasy Sci-Fi?

Your mom. (Star Wars, Luke Skywalker acting like a boss with a lightsaber.)

    2. When you hear the genre Fantasy Sci-Fi, what films come to mind?

    Your mom. (Star Wars)

    3. What characteristics do movies in the Fantasy Sci-Fi genre have in common?

Your grand mother. (Pretty colors, space ships and stars)

    4. What do you expect to see or understand from a movie poster?

How your mom looks. (The main character in the movie and possibly some scenery that might appear in the movie.)

Tessa slumped to the ground with relief as the Kolossus vanished. It was over. The first battle had been one. She fumbled in her pocket, prying the small red potion out of her pocket before setting it on the ground and letting it roll towards Shane. "Here. Don't need it." The golem she had created slowly dissembled, sinking back into the ground. As she stood, wavering slightly, she glanced at Ze Operator, who took the chest they had won. Curious. He didn't open it or share with any of them. He told them to follow him and walked on. The Stasis Room? She clenched her trembling hand before forcing herself forwards. Hopefully Shane would accept the potion, giving himself the ability to walk into the room without harm.

She stopped by Zephyr, wiping her forehead with the back of her sleeve. "I saw it take a swing at you towards the end. Are you okay?" She asked, trying to keep her voice from trembling. That fight had taken more out of her then it should have. Perhaps her own injury was more serious then she had originally thought. The thought of climbing those stairs made her stomach clench, but she couldn't very well rest here.

Tessa stood up and stretched her back as the dinner bell rang. "Hey, Griffin." She glanced around the room before sighing. He was hiding here somewhere, she was sure. He had come in with her, and she hadn't seen him leave. "Griffin, wherever you are, come sit by me." She offered, looking around once more before sighing and heading towards the buffet table. She loaded up her plate with random deliciousness, careful to keep her food carefully separated and not touching on her plate before taking a seat. As she dug in, she left the two spots open next to her. Zack customarily sat on her right, but the left was open. As she dug in, she elbow Zack who sat next to her on her right, grinning at his flushed face. "Score." She whispered between bites.

Zack flushed as Adelina quickly agreed to meet him that night. Tonight. Had he died? He pinched himself to make sure before smiling at the fairy girl and practically skipping to his seat next to Tessa. He filled his plate quickly, not much caring if the food lopped over and everything mixed as he sat down. Tessa elbowed him and he blushed as she grinned at him, ignoring her after as he dug into his food. He ate quickly and went back for seconds, thoughts still occupied with that night. What could they do? What did someone do for a date? Shit, he was freaking out a little. Maybe Tessa would know. He sighed and looked over at her, wondering whether this would be a safe topic to discuss in public.

Veera didn't say a word until they reached the city. Her mind wasn't exactly occupied, but neither was she ready for conversation. All my fault. If Drake had been there, he wouldn't have let a single person die. Even the princess had been more capable then she. She, she had killed one of them herself. Practically pulled the trigger.
When they arrived at the city, she followed Drake's lead, her face blank before attaching a hook into the wall and scaling up. When they reached the top, her eyes opened wide, and she gripped the handles of her swords tightly. Her mouth opened to say something, but no words came out.
The city was destroyed. She didn't see any titans, but what else could have done that much damage? Homes were completely eviscerated, and rubble lined the streets. It looked as though cannon fire had destroyed several other buildings. Looking along the wall, she noticed that the cannons were pointed inwards, instead of out. Something was deadly wrong. And it was too quiet. If the city was under attack, why weren't people screaming. Why wasn't anyone watching the wall?
"Drake." She spoke quietly to get his attention. "Your Highness." She hadn't looked to see if the princess had ascended with them, but she figured by now the woman would be standing next to them. "There are no sentries. The cannons are pointed in towards the city. There aren't any titans trying to get in." Her stomach tightened. "I don't like this."

    Level 5
Tessa swore when the goblin king's summon appeared, causing Lancelot to look over his shoulder and raise an eyebrow. "I never claimed to be a lady." She retorted to his silent commentation in her choice of words as she turned back and aimed. She fired another round into the goblin king's partner, choosing to focus on the enemy with the fuller health bar. She noticed someone running across the battlefield with a figure that looked vaguely familiar. Cu....Cu something? Damn[plained]n[/plained] if she could remember. She covered them with some sniper fire, critically injuring a goblin elite before turning her gaze back to the goblin king. And freezing. Was that...magic? She took that moment to squeeze off another shot at the goblin king's partner, her mind racing. She needed to get that person's attention somehow.
After. She told herself as she refocused her sights on the boss. I'll have a chance after. Another wave of exhaustion washed over her. After.

    Level 6
Bryce continued to hack and slash. He hoped Emma was still alive. She hadn't spoken in a while. The flash to the side alerted him to the goblin king's summon being called into battle. The boss has a summon. Of course. Just when it started to look like the battle was over, they were introduced to fresh hell. Another flash caught his eye, that of magic. "Hey!" He yelled at the guy who had seemingly loosed a bolt of lightning at the boss. "Hey you! How did you do that?"

He lacked the tact that Tessa had, and began to wave his arm wildly while fighting off another Elite. "Help a dude out!" If he could at least learn how to do that, he could cover Tessa's position much better. Plus you know, it was magic. Who didn't want to use that?

Veera rested by the fire, one arm propped up on her knee as the other held the stick of charred meat. She took a bite out of it anyway, letting the hot food settle in her stomach as she stared into the flames. Hunts like these made her miss the days when they would go in groups. The more skilled you became, the less that was necessary, but the company was always nice. The trees whispered in the wind around her, hiding and holding their secrets as one or two birds fluttered from the sky to find a branch to sleep. It was peaceful, misleadingly so. She finished her food with a mental sigh and changed her position to kneel on her knees, one hand resting on each leg, respectively. As she shut her eyes to meditate, she let her awareness spread, just in case one of those rabid dogs was still skulking around. She hated to be the only witcher in history to be killed by a damn dog.

Zack was brave enough to venture beyond the city today. The guards peered at him but waved him on with a reminder that they wouldn't allow him passage back if he returned after dark. He sighed a breath of relief before strolling down the road, hands in his pockets and fake silver dagger at his hip. Though the chances of running to a Witcher increased in the wilds, he promised himself he wouldn't roam very far. On the outskirts of Oxenfurt lay a small tavern. The name had long been burned away by the pillaging soldiers, but the mead was still good and the food was hot. He stepped inside, the small change in his pocket jangling as he walked up to the counter and slapped down a few coins for an ale. Mead wasn't something he could afford today, but if luck looked down upon him, he might be able to by the end of the week.

Teriana stepped carefully, the bottoms of her dress swishing as she walked deeper into the dark. She whispered a few words of spell casting and a small flame popped into her free hand, illuminating the cave. It did have sunlight creeping in, sure, but she liked to be careful. The spell, while simple, could serve as both illumination and a weapon. And the creatures in caves weren't to be taken lightly. Just as she thought this, a drowner leapt out of the pool at her. She held out her hand and smiled as the fireball flew from her hand into the creature's face. It stumbled back, before falling to the ground as she blasted it once more. She carried on, unafraid, before tripping on something. Glancing down, she noticed a blue sweater, moth eaten and torn with age. Odd.....She picked it up and cautiously went in further. The clusters of mushrooms she desired would be further in, shying away from any source of light.

Up ahead, something glimmered. A golem? She stepped up to it, and after ascertaining that it didn't move, gently placed a hand on the cold surface. It hummed of magic, making her skin tingle and her hair stand on end. Within the depths she could barely see the image of a person, and she bit her lip. This wasn't so powerful she couldn't break it, but did she want to? What if the person inside was there for a good reason?

Well, you only live once. She set her basket containing the plants and the sweater to the side, out of harms way before pressing both of her hands against the nearly glass like exterior of the ice cage. "Breathe once more." She whispered as the fire shot from her hands, melting the ice. She increased the power of the flames, breathing deeply and evenly to avoid taxing herself as the ice slowly wore away to reveal the shape of a person, a young man in fact. As more of his body was released, she had to be careful to avoid burning him in place of the ice.
Finally, he was free. She took a step back, the fire still glowing around her hands as she prepared for a possible attack. "Who are you?" She asked, her voice calm but cautious.

Ana remained still and silent to see what Hunter's decision would be, if Aedion would still accompany them and what Zeal thought of all of this.

Kala felt triumphant, right until that cold voice emanated from the trees. She turned to see the Hat Man, though this time without his hat. She got a good look at his face and strange silver hair as he introduced himself. "Osiris. Isn't that a god of death?" She asked, hefting her sword up a little higher. While her body was able to withstand decent amounts of damage, she did need medical attention. She could sense the power radiating from this man, and if he wanted a fight, which his words seemed to indicate he didn't, she would be completely screwed. And not in the good way.
"Why send something out to test a possible soldier for your...purposes, if that soldiers then gets injured?" She asked, though her heart fluttered at the thought of more battle in the future. "Your words are kind, but assuring me of something I already am doesn't serve your purpose." She forced her heart rate to accelerate, pumping adrenaline into her her blood as she prepared for a second fight. It also staved off the pain quite nicely.

    "What now?"

"HI." She smiled sweetly at the shy man before shifting her stance, easing the strain on her legs. "I use the bow as a weapon, the arrows I make myself. They fly truer that way." She frowned, crossing her arms over her chest. "Island of Nobodies? What are you talking about?" That sounded dangerous. Before the man could answer, a second came looking for him. She glanced him over before answering. "I am a traveler yes. Do you realize you have a island of Nobodies? Point me in the direction and I'll go take care of it." She reached back to check the number of arrows she held in her quiver. She had the number memorized, but it was more of a nervous reaction then an actual action itself.
"I promise, I'm more then qualified to handle this problem."

Tessa let herself get pulled away by Alessia, because the other girl seemed to have a better idea of where to go than she did. As they entered the room and the birds fluttered in the air around her, she sighed and dropped to the ground, pulling her knees to her chest and pressing her face to the top of them in her favorite "this is bullshit why does this happen" pose. "You don't have to stay, Alessia. It's fine. Zephyr needed to talk to you, and that guy that came back seemed pretty important." Breathing in and out, that was the key. Somehow this time, it didn't help.

"I'll be fine." It wasn't a straight lie, but a favorite phrase used to block off all questions and cut short any conversation in regards to that. "The birds don't bother me. You can leave."

As of today I am no longer in this role play. I hope the rest of you enjoy this and that it has a long life, but I will not be a part of it. I would like to remind everyone that as part of the RP's rules and a basic code of ethics that my characters are my own and I do not give anyone permission to use them. A few minutes ago Kale and Veera lost the game and died. May the odds be in your favor more then it was in theirs.

Tessa had no time to call out a warning to Shane before the Kolossus' arm crashed down on his body. She crouched next to him and pressed her hands into the ground, summoning a golem once more to protect him. Regardless of their issues with each other, she refused to let a team mate die.

Ana opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out except for a squeaking noise. She shut it, cleared her throat, and tried it again. "If you need to poke a sleeping girl with your manhood, then you are clearly still a virgin." She hoped it sounded more confident then she felt, as her cheeks flushed with embarassment. She hoped that neither Zeal nor Aedion had heard what he said as she quickly turned away and walked towards the middle of the street, using the excuse of stretching her legs. "Pick a direction." She suggested as she put one foot, toes pointed in front, and swinging it to the side before placing it next to the other. As she repeated the move with the other foot, feeling the muscles flex and move. The work made her relax, feel more comfortable.
"Can't we all just get along?" She muttered to herself.

Tessa reached out to steady the young man, her own eyes meeting his as she smiled with kindness. "I'm sorry, I guess I didn't see you there." She apologized, letting her hand fall to her side. "I'm Tessa. Just traveling through. Do you live here?" She asked, looking over her shoulder at the other townspeople before turning back to the young man with another smile. She sensed no threat from the boy, but the town still made her itch, telling her something wasn't right. Once again she got the premonition she should stay, help out. Perhaps this young man would be able to tell her what was going on.

Tessa scrubbed at the stain, humming to herself. "Don't worry about it Olivia." She said with a smile. "I don't mind." She kept her eye on Zack as she worked, unable to keep the smile from creeping back onto her face as she watched him converse with Adelina. People often figured the two of them to be in a relationship, but she alone knew that Zack had always carried a torch for the fairy. She had offered to help him get a date with her many times, and he had always refused. They lived such short violent lives because of the titans. If he had a chance to experience happiness before the end, she wanted him to take it. A lump came into her throat, and she looked back down at the stain, scrubbing past what as necessary as she composed herself. "Oh yeah...Zack, we have to meet the king for trials after lunch. So don't eat too much."

Zack did as directed by Adelina, taking as many bowls and plates as he could in one go. He was the type that wanted to get it done in as little trips as possible. "Don't worry about it." he responded cheerfully, trying to smile despite feeling sadness at her tears. She was such a kind person, and she did so much. "You know, you could always talk to me, if you wanted." He finally got the courage to say as he returned for a second trip, trying to keep his voice cool and his face calm. In spite of that, the inner turmoil nearly showed in his face, and the smile on his face nearly slipped. Please don't reject me. Or at least be mean about it. He glanced over to see Tessa working on the stain, her face set. The expression startled him; why was she upset? Was it Stefano? Just as he was about to speak, she looked up, voice normal and cheerful. "Oh yeah....Zack, we have to meet the king for trials after lunch. So don't eat too much." Trials? He inwardly sighed as he took more plates and balanced them on his arms. "Alright. Thanks." What fresh hell was this?

Veera inhaled the soft scent of her horse once more before turning. Her face was set, her voice low, and her eyes expressionless. "I'm with you." she intoned, forcing every other emotion down until only the numbing of denial remained. She would mourn Bill later. She hoped his spirit would forgive her. But she had a job to do, and she would be damned if she let Gale and Drake go with the princess, alone. She owed her allegiance to Drake and Flame, and despite their strange band she felt a sort of comradery with Gale. She didn't want another member of their group to die.
She swung up onto her horse, her shoulders set as she checked her maneuvering gear and weapons to make sure they were safely stowed. If she accidentally stabbed herself with her swords she had no doubt they would leave her behind. As was right to do.

Tessa watched Alessia's magic display with wide eyes before pressing a hand to her lips. She was fairly certain she could do that, but here? Now? "Um..would I be able to-"
"Good day to all of you present, we have returned!" The large, loud voice boomed across the guild hall, and Tessa cringed, hardly daring to look behind her at the newcomers. They seemed to have a brought a strange...thing with them as well.
"Um....." "There is Caliborn, if you need to talk to him. If not I will talk to him shortly." Tessa gestured with her hand, getting to her feet as the other hand tightly clenched the leaf that Jack had given her. "No, you go ahead." She murmured to Jack, stepping back nervously. "Um...is there someplace else I can go?" She asked no one in particular, feeling her heart rate pick up a little. She really really wanted to get out of here. Like right now. But going through the front entrance meant going past Caliborn and the...thing, and that didn't seem like a good option.
Tessa tried to calm herself by breathing slowly, but her hands were clenched and her palms sweat. Suddenly the room felt like it had shrunken in size, and she needed out. Before she crushed the leaf into oblivion, or possibly exploded into a whirlwind.

She had rested, and now she stared at the ground, debating in her mind whether it was worth going on. She had been here for two day? Or three? She couldn't tell anymore. There wasn't exactly a wall to carve marks into, and she didn't have any paper or way to keep track. Hours seemed endless here, and the only way to judge any type of time passing was the exhaustion in her body and the pangs of hunger in her stomach. Were they hunger pangs? Or perhaps the symptoms of the darkness that would inevitably begin to corrupt whatever humanity had already started.

She sighed and flopped back, letting her arms spread out at her sides as she stared up into the darkness. It wouldn't have been so bad had she had someone to talk to. The loneliness was maddening, and if the darkness didn't get her, then she was sure being alone for so long would. It wasn't the absence of socializing that she necessarily missed, but the absence of noise. There was literally no sound, other then her heartbeat and the soft footfalls her shoes made as she wandered through the endless tunnel.

She closed her eyes and remained where she was, letting sleep take her once more. Perhaps after she rested she could carry on in her journey. Or perhaps she would stay, until she lost her sanity and herself. There weren't many other options remaining anymore.

Sleeping with the future king? Veera's lips curved into a smile. This man was charming, and he certainly knew how to use the assets he had. She was amused, and this was the sole reason she kept the conversation going. "So, Hunter, you didn't seem to enjoy your stay in the brothel. Have the ladies gone downhill since last time I was there?" She crossed her arms and slanted her hips to the side, the smile still firmly placed on her face. This man would be more of an interesting sort to mess with. "Such an interesting name. I take it you chose it yourself?" Veera didn't know who had named her, and she didn't care. "What are you doing in this fair city?"

Kara sat back, relieved that the man was alive. At least she wasn't alone. "I don't know where we are, but it's a cave of some sort. I don't remember how we got here, but I was at an inn, and my friend..." Kara turned and looked around the dim cave, half of her hoping that her comrade would be here. The other half hoped he had gotten away, and would at least know that she hadn't abandoned him. Shit. She hadn't even gotten paid. "Um...my name is Ana." she introduced herself, struggling to get to her feet. "Kara Jereign of the house Dahaka."
"We need to get out of here." she murmured next, more to herself then to him. "If they've bound us, it can't be good." At least, in her experience if there wasn't a bed and a good deal of liquor, it couldn't be a good thing.
