Not really. You're saying that she should change her perspective and be grateful for having a job, a place to live, food to eat, etc. Positively looking at things is great, and it really does help, but no one can do it one hundred percent of the time. Poking my nose in here, there is always someone that has it worse. Purple knows it, I know it, we all know it. That does not mean she needs to be reminded of that, or guilted into feeling bad for not liking her situation. Yes she could get another job, but sometimes there are certain situations where another job cannot be obtained. She came here to complain to people who could relate. So let her have that. That could be Vin Deisel saying that in order to justify the decision to make another. Furious 7 has made over 1.5 billion dollars wordwide as of yesterday.

And honestly the fact that Paul Walker's brother played him and continues to play him is unfathomable to me. He might choose to say that it's honoring his brother, but I can't imagine the decision comes down to more then money and fame. How many movies would he have been asked to be in before this?
Cody Walker is slated for F8 and another movie in 2016. Doubt that would have happened if his brother wasn't deceased.

AND Vin Deisel brought up Paul Walker in his speech to announce F8. Looking at the numbers, none of the Furious movies had done half as well as F7 before his death. All of them became more popular afterwards. They're just using it as a way to get more attention, and it's honestly awful. I would love to see otherwise, but people are just awful, and that's the way it is.

Fast and Furious announced an eighth film, which is simply disrespectful to Paul Walker, his character, and the ending of the last movie.

The point of bringing that up is that it isn't shocking or even surprising anymore what people will do to make money. Pirates of the Caribbean should have only been a single movie, Transformers should have been a trilogy at best, and some things just need to die. But the producers, actors and directors don't see that. They see an enormous, forest green cash cow that they will milk until it literally collapses at their feet. Then they will toss it into a lake, let it wallow and get some last entertainment out of it until it drowns. So don't be surprised if suddenly everyone is mimicking Harry Potter and coming out with six or seven movies. It's all about the moolah.

I would recommend taking a week of vacation and traveling, anywhere you want to. Use that time to figure out what steps you want to take next. I assume you went to school for a degree that you would want to use to set up a career. Maybe start pursuing that, find out what places have the best opportunity. Or maybe you want to continue your education, or get a completely different degree. Start with the vacation and figure it out.

Congratulations on graduating too. It's hard and a struggle and you managed to survive, so some sort of alcohol or chocolate is probably in order too.

I guess I'm confused on whether you want this discussion to only be about KHV changes, or changes on a whole.

In regards to changes made to the KHV site, I think I left around KHV 6 or 7.0. Coming back was a shock to the senses, to say the least. It was like figuring out your way around a new computer or a new ISO. Now that I'm slowly used to it, I'm forgetting the way the old one used to be. It's simply the way our brains work. We get used to seeing something the way it is, and then when a site goes through a major update, a phone gets a major reboot, or even moving to a new location, our brains register the change and uses it to help us understand the new change.

It probably all started way back in the day when we were all hunched around fires and snacking on burned haunches of animals. Changes to our surroundings could be beneficial or dangerous, but noticing them was the first step to understanding which category they fell into. The same can still be applied to situations today. When something new occurs, we register it and analyze it, then put it into a category. After a while, we stop thinking of that item as new and accept it as normal. When the item is changed, reverting to its original form or into a new form, we again perceive the change, analyze it, and react to it. And on and on it goes.
