Both my college and the school I work at are closed. How should I spend my day?
Mac n Cheese. No contest.
I never did figure out how to cover those holes in the floor.
It's been snowing here all day, but it only started sticking to the ground about an hour ago. Now it looks like goddamn Christmas outside.
My class (Art History) is a combination of both. Every unit has one (short-ish) essay, one multiple choice quiz, and a discussion thing. We also have to read a chapter or two of the really boring textbook. On the bright side, at the end of every unit, there's a suggestion for a movie to watch based on the unit we just finished. We've watched The Croods, Prince of Egypt, and Hercules thus far, among others.
I'm currently taking an online course, and it... is not as good as being in a classroom, I admit. But it's also a course I don't really care about but I need for my major, so I don't mind. I agree that teachers making you use the discussion boards is bs, though. A good chunck of people don't do anything in them until the day before it's due, and then you're stuck scrambling around trying to finish at the last minute, no matter how ahead you are.
Hong Kong is an actual character, yes.
I have seen male Hetalia cosplayers before, but they are a rare breed.
Don't die.
I dunno about actual canon, but in Disney Infinity his suit lets him control those microbots.
Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
I think GoGo might be Korean.
Umm... You also realize that the original comic, despite the entire cast being Japanese, is also pretty racist in itself, right? There's a post somewhere about it, if you wanna go look it up.
Yer mums a hipster.
Spoiler What I really liked about the movie was its portrayal of depression. It was very much toned down for the kiddies, but it was still quite accurate. And when Baymax found that it was emotional hurt, not physical, instead of telling Hiro he wasn't hurt, he IMMEDIATELY GOT ALL THE INFORMATION HE COULD AND PROCEEDED TO TREAT HIRO'S EMOTIONAL STATE AS IMPORTANT AS HIS PHYSICAL STATE AND THAT JUST REALLY MEANS A LOT TO ME OKAY. I never for a second had trouble believing that Hiro was a 14 year old boy, despite being a genius, or depressed, or upset, or whatever. The college kids don't treat him like a baby, they treat him like a friend who just happens to be a little younger.
Not in the way Princesses are, no. Marvel superheros are enormously popular, yes, but the popularity of Frozen has overtaken everything in a way that none of the marvel movies have. I get kids at work, boys and girls, asking every day for drawings of Elsa, Ariel, Rapunzel, but I've yet to have anyone ask me for Thor or Hawkeye. There're kids who bring in both Elsa and Thor dolls, but invariably Thor ends up sitting on the table while they build castles out of legos for Elsa to sit on. What I'm saying is not that superheros aren't extremely popular right now, but that Frozen and the like are MORE popular.
Probably not, actually. Part of the reason Frozen is SO EXTREMELY POPULAR is because Princesses. Nope, I really think Big Hero 6 is gonna end up more in the vein of Wreck It Ralph, in that it will get a lot of love without being overhyped too much.[DOUBLEPOST=1415549367][/DOUBLEPOST] It's really not. Frozen and Big Hero 6 aren't even the same genre. Also, Big Hero 6 has ZERO romance subplot. Not even a whif.
HELLO I AM HERE LET US DISCUSS.
Did we ever decide on birthdays for the boys? Because that is a thing I would like to do. Can you get on Skype today? (aka Sunday)
