Turn it around, and you will be called insensitive etc. You can joke about anything. Absolutely everything. It all depends on the joke. This was a bad joke; not bad in the sense it used 9/11, it just is an unfunny joke. If you are offended by the joke, you're being dumb. Make a similar joke with the holocaust, and the reaction would be so insignificant that you wouldn't even think twice about it.

Task manager is Ctrl + Alt + Delete. However, that only works if you want to exit the program. If it's a reoccurring thing, then you'll have to reinstall. If you go to Control Panel and find the Uninstall Programs, you should find it there.
