"Who is your master anyway? And why does he make you do this?"
"But wont you get in trouble if she doesn't go back with you?"
"Wait, Xiome before you go I want to give you something" she handed her a necklace with an aqua crystal. "If you're in danger put in contact with water and it'll glow. I have one exactly the same, mine'll glow too. Oh and make sure Delthryn gives you lots of water to drink. ok?"
Claire almost died laughing "XIOME!? How did u get here?"
Claire ran up to them "You should take it easy Catherine, your legs aren't strong enough to support you yet"
"Yeah I think you should, I don't think anyone wants to fight right now"
"Well, I can't say that's good news but... maybe it'll keep the others from trying to get in"
"Me? Oh I'm fine. Catherine just woke up. The others were waiting for her to regain her strength, they wanted to go find Xiome. I told them they shouldn't go, but they insisted".
"Oh, that's good. She should be resting after all she's been through. I knew I could trust you to take care of her Delthryn."
"Hey..." she said softly. "Hows Xiome?"
Claire was sitting on the ground waiting for the time to pass when she heard something. The others didnt seem to hear it so she left quietly. She looked around and saw a protal and Delthryn walk out of it.
"If she needs help she'll contact me. Because she's like me, we communicate secretly. Besides, I tested Delthryn, I trust he'll keep her safe."
"Besides, Xiome chose to go"
Clarie sighed "It's a long story..."
"She knows what she's doing, this is her choice. Besides, she's in capable hands, she'll be safe."
Such great acts of kindness she thought watching the two. "You, Delthryn. Why do you show such mercy... I'm not saying you have to act cruel because of what you are... but your kind wouldn't show this kind of..." she thought for the right word "...gentleness."
Claire put her arms around her. "XIOME! We will get her back. I promise. Even if it means my life, I will help get her back..." She held her close trying to help her calm down.
Claire went and kneeled down next to Xiome. "You have to calm down... you're going to get hurt if you use too much power...Trust me, I should know..."
"Hold it dragoon! You're not takin' her anywhere!" she struck her staff to the ground causing it to crack and shift again. "It's going to take lots of my energy to restrain the water from coming up..." she thought.
"Your pet might love the water, but you certanly don't" she yelled ant Delthryn. She sent ribbons of water at him attempting to tie him down.
